[Closed] Let's Lesson Go!
Who: Mirei and Natsuru
When: January 21
Where: The Temple of Nemesis Prism Stone.
What: Natsuru wants idol lessons. Mirei has a Plan.
[There is a reason, no, a pri-son, that Mirei has not yet apprised Hibiki of the fact that she knows pricisely who she is. She knows how they met, why they should have done so: she even has at least some idea - though Hibiki's prinderstanding of current privents still seems to pri in pridvance of her own - of pricisely what Hibiki's priblem with her is. It would have been no priblem at all to simply announce this fact, but then - oh, but then. She had an idea.
[Still, she has hespritated. Is it unfair?
[Unfair or not, prihaps it would inpridvisable on prifferent grounds. Would the priblic of this puniverse appriciate such a thing? Their standards for printertainment seem rather prifferent to what Mirei is used to, strange though that may pri.
[The events of the past few days have Mirei very much decided: it is very much not unfair, and if Hibiki can get away with unleashing her latest priduction on the unsuspecting prinhabitants of the Far Shore, her own seems frankly prinnocuous... and considerabpri shorter. One priblem, however, primains: Yui. Mirei had hoped to prinvolve her in this, too - but then Yui had vanished. Gone, prisumably, back home, whatever that meant for a girl in Yui's place, which Mirei does not like to think too hard on. And, once she had the idea of priforming with a pritner, the thought of doing it alone simpri didn't seem so much fun...
[Then it had come to her. That pridiculous movpri had been good for something after all. Sophy had sung with Hibiki, hadn't she? Turn about was fair pri.
[Natsuru.]

As she approaches the "Prism Stone" shop, she gazes at the storefront in awe. Some kind of designer boutique?! She hadn't known what to expect of Mirei's temple at all, yet the incredible sight just makes sense. Of course an amazing idol goddess would have a beautiful, fashionable temple like this!
The look of wonder and excitement still hasn't left her face as she steps inside, both taking in all the new sights and looking around for the goddess who had invited her in the first place.]
Hello? Mirei-san?
no subject
[Excellent.
[Her motives are not entirely mercenapri. Honestly, Mirei simply misses performing with her friends. Any excuse to do so here and now and she's going to seize it with both hands. That it is also an absolutely excellent way to let Hibiki know exactly what she knows about her is... well, okay, it's definitely a bonus. But it's not all she's after.
[Exactly why they're meeting here. She bounds over to Natsuru, clasping her by the hands.]
Has Hibiki told you about Prism Stone yet, pri?
no subject
No... I don't think so!
[Some of the things here might strike her as familiar. Hibiki talks about idol types and coords, and Natsuru's even done a Making Drama once with Hibiki's illusion powers to help. But as far as there being a whole fancy boutique dedicated to Idol Aesthetics? This is news to her!]
Is this a place from your world?
no subject
[Time to let go of one of Natsuru's hands, at least for long enough to gesture to the reception desk and the boutique, and start gently-but-firmly guiding her toward it.
[It's such a shame there's no Meganee, no Pripara system, no way to do all of this for real. For Mirei, though, that means only one thing: she's just going to have to work all the harder herself. There are still coords to choose from, and... well, she knows the system pretty well by now, right? Perhaps, just this once, it would be okay if she did it herself?]
Of course it's not quite the same here, pri... normally you'd enter PriPara through the gate at the back, but since we're here it only takes you to my temple, pri. You'll see that too, pri - I figured we'd go practice there. But it's okay, there's plenty of outfits here. We can just find you a coord ourselves, pri!
no subject
Eh? Really?
[There's a barely perceptible little tightening of her own grip on Mirei's hand now, the wonder in her voice only increasing. The boutique has so many pretty outfits on display!]
I can wear one of these?
[She's worn what she's pretty sure was an idol coord before, for a performance. But it was never given to her like this, in a place where idols are supposed to receive their first coord. It makes it feel so official.]
[1/3]
[Mirei beams. Maybe she can't show Natsuru exactly what it means to be a PriPara idol - but she can do her absolute best to get as close as she can. No illusions required.
[So she pulls her over to the boutique, over to the mannequins. Hmm. What would suit, what would suit... Mirei experimentally pulls on the skirts of a colorful dress, then immediately shakes her head. No. This is a Pop-type coord. Perhaps Natsuru could wear it for a performance - maybe even the one she has in mind - but there's no way it would work as her coord. She steps back, away from the clothes, looking her friend up and down.]
Of course, if this was PriPara, you'd know your idol type by now... and that makes a difference to your choice of coord, pri. Hm, let's see...
[2/3]
[3/3]
[Okay, Meganee she isn't. But Mirei knows her idols, and this has been calculated to a near-100% certanpri.]
You're definitely a Lovely-type idol, pri!
no subject
[She blinks, looking uncertain. She knows idol types exist. Hibiki's talked about them. But she's never been told what her idol type should be, exactly. She had a feeling Hibiki knew, but she never thought to ask.
Mirei really seems to know her stuff, though. Natsuru hangs on that pause, waiting to see what Mirei might say, before she gasps at the decision.]
Huh?! 'Lovely'...? Me?!
[That sounds... beautiful and elegant and romantic. Like a princess. Like this boutique! Her? She's floored by this assessment! Little does she know it's exactly what Hibiki had already determined.]
Th-Then, a Lovely type coord?
[But which ones are those? She looks around, still seeming a bit lost.]
no subject
[Had she known what Natsuru was thinking, Mirei would have told her she was pretty much there. What else would a Lovely-type idol resemble if not a princess, what would she wear if it wasn't sweet and romantic? She spins on her heel, rifling through the racks of dresses in search of - ah, here.
[She isn't Meganee; she can't go quite so far as know exactly what brand would suit Natsuru best. But here are two dresses from Twinkle Ribbon and another from Silky Heart, and what about-- hm, Twinkle Ribbon Sweet? She hasn't come across that one before. Must be a spinoff. Mirei thrusts all four dresses into Natsuru's arms, still smiling. Call it a taster pack!]
That's right, pri! These two are Twinkle Ribbon, that's my best friend's brand, it might suit you, too! Now this one's more angelic, pri...
[She steps back. Gestures to the changing rooms.]
Well, why don't you try them on, pri? Or is there another one you think's really you? Whatever you like, pri!
no subject
[It's a good thing Mirei's willing to help and teach her these things! And here they go through the boutique, searching rack after rack of pretty and elegant dresses and outfits, until Mirei pushes a few into Natsuru's arms. She can barely keep up with all the information Mirei's piling on her.]
Ah? They're all so pretty...
[Is this what a Lovely-type idol wears? She's blushing even more, flattered at the thought. But she smiles, and nods in affirmation when Mirei gestures to the changing rooms.]
Okay! Thank you, Mirei-san...
[With the outfits still in her arms, she gives the petite blonde a little bow before she disappears into the changing rooms. She's just... going to try each one on. Starting with one in something of a traditional Japanese style, then a blue dress from the Twinkle Ribbon brand. And then... another blue dress... and a white and blue coord with lace and ribbons. Each time she emerges from the changing rooms, she does a little turn and looks to Mirei for her opinions.]
What do you think?
[She has her own leanings, if Mirei thinks she should choose her own, but hearing her thoughts might help her make a final decision.]
no subject
[Zips can be hard to reach, buttons can be fiddly, and the less said about laces the better, prially.
[Natsuru doesn't seem to be having too much difficulty there, though, which is definitely something. Mirei still has the much, much easier job of sitting back and watching her try things on. The more she sees, the more convinced of her choice she becomes: Natsuru is absolutely, definitely a Lovely idol. Everything looks so cute! It's honestly hard to decide.]
The blue ones are definitely the best, pri! But they're all super cute, I'm not sure which one I like best! If I had to choose... hm, maybe the one you've got on, pri? So long as you're okay with the top? Of course I liked the Flower Blossom coord too, but the light colors just suit you so well, pri!
[Ooh, now it's really hard to decide. But she'd need a cyalume too, right?]
But if you really can't decide just take both, pri!
no subject
She turns to look at herself in a few different angles, both looking down at herself and checking out angles in the nearest mirror.]
It's... really pretty, yeah.
[She's blushing a little, but seems happy. She thought maybe it was a little much, with all the lace and frills. But isn't that what idol coords are all about? If Mirei thinks it suits her...]
I'll wear this one! It's fine! [She waves off any concerns about the top. It's a little short, but not too revealing.] ... Can I take the other one too, though? It's okay?
[She's looks at Mirei with her hands clasped together and a starry look in her eyes. She's building a real idol coord wardrobe starting now, it seems?]
no subject
[That's the whole point of today, right? Or... well, one of them.
[Hm... does Prism Stone have bags? Of course ordinarily Natsuru would be getting a bag for her PriTickets at this point, but that's another thing this world seems weirdly short of. Bags, bags, bags - ah. She finds a tote bag with the Prism Stone logo on it, holding it open so Natsuru can slip the second coord inside.]
Now we just need rehearsal clothes, pri! I've got some in my temple if you'd like to come through. Or would you rather wait out here a little longer, pri?
no subject
[Natsuru smiles bashfully at Mirei while she follows along with the other girl's momentum, and lets her second-choice coord slip inside the bag. Honestly, she could stay out here looking at the clothes for quite some time. But Mirei has her curious...]
Your temple is through here?
[This must be like Hibiki's temple, there's several layers to that one too. If they're both from the same place, this makes sense!]
