A. In My Sweet Dreams

[After events from the whole dream thing, Lavi has made himself scarce again. Which means not spending nights at Shun’s temple, occasionally seen at Hibiki’s place, or even at the library. No, he knows people well enough that they would want to check in on him, wanting to talk to him and possibly “help” him. Lavi just isn’t ready for that yet. He doesn’t want to be coddled, to be talked to or even want any form of physical affection because he knows that right now, that isn’t what he needs.

Then again, who knows what he really needs anyway.

Any texts or calls are ignored. It’s easy for a godless shinki to just…disappear. Lavi knows it’s risky, but he needed time away from everyone.

Especially certain friends.

But after a week of hiding, Lavi’s come out again. He still isn’t answering any calls or messages, but he can be found taking a walk near the Central District, eye focused on a book he’s holding in his hand. With unnatural ease, he sidesteps anyone who gets in his way and only looks up when his golem decides to bump his head.]

What?

[He sounds annoyed as he finally lifts his gaze up from his book.]

B. Made of Gold and Silver

[Anyone who had wanted a copy of the Forest Map from Lavi will find it delivered to their front door.

In the other case, Lavi can be found once more standing over a table, looking down at what appears to be more maps. He tilts his head to the side as he seems to regard something, eye glancing briefly to the side.

At the corner of the table stands a book on dreams and psychology, and Lavi makes a face before he turns back to whatever he was working on. He is going to pretend that book doesn’t exist, though there is the slightest twitch when he hears someone approach.]

Yes?

C. You Aren’t There

[It’s February in the Far Shore now and given how Lavi hadn’t managed to actually enjoy the “winter wonderland” given all of that load of bad luck sent his way, he’s enjoying it thoroughly now.

The dreams sure did give him an interesting insight on how he should have gone through before.

Which is why, anyone who happens to be walking by the annoying Koi pond will find themselves with a face full of snow, courtesy of a certain redheaded shinki’s desire to just cause trouble. And play. Mostly play.

At being caught, he doesn’t even look sorry and grins.]

[It's Leo, who wasn't actively looking for Lavi but is honestly pleased to see him out and about.]

I was, er, staring at the little...thing you have floating by your head.

Oh, you mean this guy?

[He glances up at the golem.]

Don't mind it too much.

What is he? I've never seen something quite like that before.

[lostinshadows]

It's called a golem. He's supposed to be used for communication, but I never figured out how to get him to work here.

[So it's just flying around.]

Awfully small for a golem...is it magical or mechanical? I may be able to help if it's the former.

[Oscar blinks, a little stunned by the sudden snowball.

He looks over at Lavi.

Looks down at the snow.

And grins before crouching down to start making a snowball.]

You're on!

[lostinshadows]

[Lavi grins.]

Show me what you got.

[He quickly works on making a snowball.]

[repinned]

[Oscar is makes a few snowballs before quickly throwing them at Lavi's downturned head. They're not packed too tightly, so there shouldn't be too much pain. Just a lot of cold.]

[Oh, that gets a startled yelp.

But Lavi is quick to fling a snowball in his direction.]

[Dodge! Followed by two more snowballs aimed at Lavi's chest.]

[ Just. Going to stand here. Stiffly.

Until the snow slides off her hair (which bounces right back into place, boing) and thudges to the ground around her feet. ]

...It seems you've made a full recovery.

[ Implying she knew he was under the weather, and keeping tabs on how he was doing? Preposterous.

Or...well, that's what you do, isn't it, when you...

She declines to finish that sentence. ]

[---oops.

Lavi blinks once then gives a light nod.]

...Seems like it.

[priforprince]

Your gloom was bothersome.

[ A spygoat rolls up with a towel draped over it. Hibiki bends down, scoops up the towel, and daubs at her face. ] Don't succumb again.

[ When the spygoat rolls off, its wheels hit a patch of ice and make a tssuuuuuuuuunnn sound as it slides. ]

I'll be sure not to.

[.....

He looks over at the spygoat.]

Do you just bring that with you everywhere you go?

Most places. [ Hibiki blinks blankly, unable to think of a reason why this might merit comment. ] What of it?

[Feeling his face getting hit with a snowball makes him pause. And just turn to look at Lavi. Hmph.]

Is that what you like to do? Attack strangers?

[He says as he eyes the snow.

Don't judge him.]

With balls made of snow? Yes.

[You know you wanna do it, too.]

[hakingitup]

[He does want to do it too. But first... he's going to shake his head.]

Does it make you happy or something?

[And then he's going to move down to bundle up snow into a ball.]

It sure does.

[Hak is getting hit with another snowball.]

[hakingitup]

[Hak will block it... and throw a snowball at Lavi.]

Well then. Keep smiling.

[There's no answer as Goten approaches under the cover of Umbra. He's decided to try and sneak up on Lavi since he hasn't seen the red head in awhile. Tip-toeing over to him trying not to giggle or breath to heavy.

Maybe Lavi will just think he's imgaining things]

[Lavi narrows his eye, almost thinking.

Tilting his head, he resumes back to reading.]

[sonofson]

[Goten moves closer to Lavi, hands over his mouth to muffle his breathing but that actually makes it a bit louder. He moves closer to Lavi and tries to peer up at the table to see what he's looking at.]

[lostinshadows]

[Listening closely to the sound of his breathing, Lavi's hand suddenly comes down on top of Goten's head.]

Figured it'd be you, Goten.

[sonofson]

Mmmph!

[Goten practically squeaks in surprise. His focus on Umbra completely gone and thus the spell fades away and reveals the young spiky haired shinki]

A-ah....Lavi, how'd you know?!
