Back to the Wind
Who: Dust and Fuujin (& Kaede?)
When: 10th of April
Where: Fuujin's temple
What: Dust goes to seek Fuujin's advice and aid regarding Orihime. Again.
The last time he'd come here, Takumi had been with him, and Wendy. That time, he'd gotten nothing but a vague promise from Fuujin at the cost of a task from each of them -- a task he had no doubt fell doubly on him, to carry his own burden as well as his former god's. Well, he wouldn't get anyone else selling themselves to Fuujin to help him today... and if that made his path harder, what could he say? Marinette was gone. He just had to be careful, and do his best.
Taking a deep breath, Dust approached the temple, seeking out the shinki to beg a moment of Lord Fuujin's time, that Dust might report to him on a conversation he had with Orihime regarding a matter of some concern to the Heavens at large.

She doesn't keep Dust waiting too long having remembered him from his prior meeting with Fuujin. She gomes over to the gate, letting the other shinki in.]
Sorry to keep you waiting, Dust. I hope you are well?
[She claps her hands together once]
You are in luck that Fuujin-sama is home and does have sometime to spare. I can take you to him. Is...everything alright?
[The way the other shinki told her, Dust seemed so urgent about it..]

[But then, remembering how he has to play this, he drops the more casual tone.] To answer a concern of the Heavens, I undertook a visit to the goddess Orihime. I hoped now to report on this to Lord Fuujin.

I see. I can not speak too for him but I do know Fuujin-sama does have a certain care for matters that circulate around her. So whatever you have to report I think it will keep his interest.
[Which is important.
Being the old god that he is, Fuujin doesn't really give newcomers respect. At all. Their shinki get a bit more leeway. This also not being the first time Fuujin has met with Dust and that might actually shine in his favor as well.
With a small gesture for Dust to follow along with her, she starts to move inside the temple.]
This way.

Thank you, Kaede.
[But her help is geniunely appreciated. Kaede is one of the best shinki of the old gods he's met, and he does occasionally wonder how she and Fuujin work together. But that's a question for another day. Dust follows behind at a respectful distance, aware that appearance is important.]

The room they enter is large and fallows the same traditional design that the rest of the temple shows. Sitting on the wooden floor next to a small table is Fuujin. He doesn't even glance up to them as he seems to be filtering through various prayers and organizing them into various piles of his choosing.
Kaede quietly clears her throat.]
Fuujin-sama, we have a guest. Dust would like to speak with you...
[The god finally looks up. He gives them both a rather flat look but sighs, waving them both in.]
That's fine, that's fine. I was looking for an excuse to take a break anyway.
[He stretches his arms high over his head until his back gives a satisfying 'pop'. Sighing, he lowers his arms and looks to Dust.]
This is what, the second time you've visited my temple? No tag-alongs this time?
[Fuujin looks a bit amused. Typically shinki always had at least their gods with them.]

The mention of Orihime does gain more of his attention as his eyes linger on Dust, a bit more focused.]
You didn't come busting in here in a huff like some people of the past so don't worry too much about the impertinence thing.
[For now. Granted, Dust hasn't shown himself to really rude. Not that Fuujin can readily recall.]
Go on. How is Lady Orihime?

As you're no doubt aware, Lady Orihime, while delighted to be restored to Heaven's good graces, has remained in her house rather than move to a temple suited to her position. Knowing this to be of concern, I inquired of her what makes her reluctant to move. It is exactly what I thought -- her house places her closest to her husband.
