A far shore

[Things sure escalated quickly. Rion's been here for sometime now it's finally settling in. She has the responsibility of managing her temple and being a goddess. Her lack of experience is making this a bit difficult. Rion wants to master her goddess abilities in one way or another. She has the ability to manipulate wind. So with a few flicks of her wrist she summons a bolt of gushing air through the ceiling.

The impact is enough to damage the roof and she frowns. ]

[Maybe if you're nearby the temples you hear really distinct crashing noises. It's very concerning.

B near shore

[She needs time off. This is too much. Rion tries to chill out by spending time in the realm of the living with everyone else. Thankfully she can just use her own shrine to do that.

When Rion's down in the streets by herself she may approach you curiously. ]

Can I talk to you? I'm looking for a good place to relax. Have any recommendations?

[It's not like she knows the best place to hang out.]

Suzaku moved over quickly towards her, looking her up and down for injuries under the dust. What had happened? He nodded at the question, he was pretty good at lifting things and clearing debris. He had had plenty of practice after the volcano after all.

"I can help you, miss. What happened?"

"I had a small accident. You see I can't really use my powers too well yet and there's been some kind of crash.

Can you help? I'm Rion."

She would offer her handshake as greeting. Instead she smiles at Suzaku in a friendly manner and waves.

"Ah." He nodded, a problem with powers? Were there still odd things going on? Or was this just a general issue with learning a new skill?

"Kururugi Suzaku, at your service." He doesn't actually bow to her, she's not his god but he does nod politely in response to her wave.

"Let's see the damage then."

"Do you mind if I just call you Suzaku then? Let's go. "

Rion shows Suzaku to her temple and where there's noticeably some damaged parts among other things. Someone can easily get hurt here.

"Be careful, you might trip! It's quite dangerous. I don't recommend running around too much."

"Suzaku is fine, miss Rion." He followed her back to the temple and looked around. It was clear there had been a lot of chaos.

"I'll be careful. Let's start by moving the larger pieces out of the way." Once the rubble was cleared they could assess the damage a bit more.

He gets to it right away, moving to the largest pile of rubble to start figuring out how best to move it.

"You got it!!"

Rion tries to help Suzaku around the place. She's careful not to trip and hurt herself more while she's at it!! Thankfully it doesn't seem too bad when they're both here together.

"Um, you're not a god are you?"

"No miss, I'm not." He shook his head and was quiet for a moment as he moved a large piece of rubble out of the way. It was probably best to pile it up outside to get it out of the temple, then they could figure it out from there.

"I'm Lord Saber's shinki. Our temple is not far from here."

"Lord Saber? I don't think I know that name. Since your nearby then I might see him around!"

Rion nods enthusiastically and smiles. She's always welcome to meeting new people. Suzaku's God must be someone interesting too.

"Thanks for that. Hey, whenever you feel tired let me know."

"You might indeed." Suzaku nodded, Saber was a friendly sort so it was likely that he would get to know his neighbours quite well. It was only a surprise that he hadn't already.

"I will miss." He was far from tired though and so continued working as they talked. "Are you knew to the heavens?"

"Yup, I am. Don't know too much about what goes on around here."

Rion sighs and drops her shoulders, frowning. It's complicated.

"Are temples difficult to manage?"

"Do you not have a shinki?" Temples could be difficult to manage on your own, in the way that any living space was. Temples were big for one person to live alone in.

"There are plenty of people who can help teach you what you need to know though, all of the new gods, the ones like you who come from elsewhere, were confused once themselves I'm sure."

"I have a Shinki but she's a bit quiet. She won't really interact with others too much and prefers being on her own."

It's as bit sad. Rion wishes that wasn't the case. A more lively Shinki would be welcome too.

"Are you still wondering about anything at all? Or is this all natural to you by now?"

"Ah." Suzaku nodded, Rion seemed very outgoing so it was possibly hard for her to be paired with someone quieter. He hoped they found a way to work together regardless. After all he, Lord Saber and Edge were three very different people but they were able to work well as a temple, for the most part.

"I've been in the heavens for six months almost, so most things aren't too confusing. It might be different though, I don't know anything before this after all."

He sometimes thinks it must be very difficult to be a god, to have all the memories of a different world, a different life and yet to be trapped here, away from those you once knew, unable to return.

"Oh, I understand when you put it that way. We all have new things to learn and it's not easy being a god."

Rion adjusts her sleeves and tries to get back to work. They're making some good progress. It looks a little cleaner.

"Can I ask for your help again next time Suzaku?"

He moves another pile of rubble as they speak. "Of course, miss Rion you can ask for my help any time." He smiled, "Though may I suggest that until you have more control you perhaps practice things outside."

He wouldn't mind helping clean up again, but best she didn't actually destroy her temple.

"I'll do that, thank you! You're pretty considerate. I bet you're popular around here."

Rion thinks that Suzaku's so nice that he must have many companions out there. She's thankful for his help.

"Most people like a polite person."

"I'm not sure about that." But he has people he trusts and people he calls friends. He tries to be considerate in everything he does, politeness was only right.

"Thank you though. I am sure you will meet many people too, soon enough." She seemed very friendly herself.
