open!
Who: Pyrrha and you!
When: After April 18, unless stated otherwise
Where: Near/Far Shore
What: Jogging and chilling at the cat cafe! There will also be some closed prayer threads within.
A. jogging
[ it's nice to have her original body back. pyrrha's never felt more like herself, and it feels nice to be running around without having to worry about getting surprised looks and stares when she opens her mouth to talk. she's particularly enjoying her morning jog; right now, though, she's sitting on a park bench with a bottle of water beside her, taking a break.
a gust of wind blows and the bottled water rolls off of the bench, onto the walkway. right into someone's path. if they don't see it, they may trip over it, so pyrrha gets up promptly and tries to wave her hands around to stop them. ]
Look out below!
B. calico
[ pyrrha's decided to treat herself today, and she's spending the rest of her day at calico. she's sitting on a cushion on the floor, legs crossed with a cup of coffee and a book on the table. right now, though, she's occupied with petting one of the cats. it's very friendly, but the moment someone else steps in, its eyes go wide.
soon, the cat starts looking up at the newcomer. it wants pets! pyrrha smiles and looks up at them as well. ]
I think she wants you to pet her.

keith: prayer 66 (backdated to march 3rd)
their first problem right now, however, is being able to figure out who their requester is. seems like some classes just ended, because there are...a lot of students going towards the school's entrance. she might not even be in the crowd, too. ]
How do you think we'll be able to find her?
Hi I'm here now!!!
Honestly, I have no idea. [But that means they'll just have to come up with something!] Maybe, look for someone who seems like they might be lonely? [But even then, that's not a guarantee that they'll be finding the right person.] If 'visit your family' is a message we could get across to most of the students, we could probably at least narrow it down to the ones who seem interested.
w e l c o m e
[ that may be a little tricky, but it's definitely worth taking the extra step to narrow down their pool of students. ]
Why don't we look around and see if there's anything about the festival posted around campus already? Perhaps we'll get lucky and see them reacting to...a flyer, maybe? And if nothing is available, we can get creative and use your suggestion.

She smiles at Pyrrha.]
I love how friendly the cats here are.
no subject
[ pyrrha gives her a small wave as the kitty leans into ginia's touch. this one's a very affectionate cat--one that has received many pyrrha pats. ]
They do seem to really like humans, more so than some other cats I know.
[ she pats the space next to her. ]
If you'd like to join me?
no subject
[However, Ginia gently scoops up the cat and sits next to Pyrrha. The cat settles on her lap, already purring. She scratches the cat a little longer before signing again.]
The first time I came here, there was an adoption event going on.
[And go figure, she was also working for the cafe's sake. Some things never change.]

Or, it could just bump harmlessly against Agrias' boot.]
Hm?
[She then picks up the water bottle.]
Ah, a misplaced belonging?
no subject
she does look very worried when she stands up to collect her bottle, though. ]
Y-Yes! I'm so sorry, that's mine!
[ she collects her bottle. ] Are you alright?
[ pyrrha it was just a water bottle ]
no subject
I assure you that no harm has befallen me.
[It really was just a bottle.]

Shun definitely recognises the cat in question and recognises that look, though, so his response to Pyrrha's prompting - when he actually stops rather than pretty much trying to walk right on past - is mostly to just look down at the cat with a rather flat expression.]
Of course she does. [It's somehow dry and yet said as if it's obvious the cat would want affection. He extends his hand towards the cat, and it immediately starts waving its tail merrily and rubbing its face against his hand, as if it's familiar.] Most cats just want food, affection and somewhere to sleep, anyway.
[Says the unfortunate now-owner of six cats. He preferred them when they lived with Ren, but he can't exactly do anything else with them.]
no subject
she even opts to look up at him and give him a wave. ]
Hello, Shun! [ her smile is bright, and she's admittedly surprised to see him here. the cat definitely seems comfortable being in his presence. ]
Do you come here often?
no subject
[It had been a bit weird having that much access to non-instant coffee to start with, coming from being used to extremely limited resources. But it's useful and he doesn't mind the bitterness, so it became a habit.]
I don't remember seeing you here before. [He's just going to let the cat keep bumping his hand, mostly.]

She glances down at the cat beside Pyrrha, taking an immediate liking to the creature. ]
Kinda greedy aren't ya? But that's fine, I've got plenty of these to hand out.
[ She crouches and readily runs her hand in a gentle back and forth motion over the cat's head. ]
You'd think these cats would get tired of all the attention.
no subject
They never really do. We have a lot, back where I live, and they're always looking for some affection.
no subject
[ Mostly because they're strays that Mordred occasionally feeds and plays with. She's quite fond of the creatures even though she doesn't want the complete responsibility of looking after them. ]
Still way better than the creepy flaming weasel or the stupid flying cow we keep.
[ Her goddess's guardian animals, the latter of which Mordred considers her archenemy. But wait should she be talking about stuff like this with a mortal? Eh, it's probably fine. ]

WILDCARD
[Which means Nia's putting on her very best face as she strolls on up to the cafe she'd agreed to meet Pyrrha at, her smile as genuine as she can make it. Only problem is, it doesn't touch her eyes, and even her ears are drooping.]
no subject
Hello!
[ ...except her friend doesn't seem as chipper as she usually is. when nia comes over, ears drooping, pyrrha tilts her head and frowns. ]
Is...everything okay, Nia?

prayer 78: shiro
they're standing in front of a dorm at a university, and pyrrha puts her hands on her hips. ]
Hmm... [ there are...a lot of dorms, unsurprisingly. ] It might be a little difficult to pinpoint the exact student from the request.
no subject
I was hoping we'd get something more... specific. [ He frowns. ] I wonder if it's possible to people-watch and try to scope out someone who seems unnaturally down or off?
no subject
[ one that was brought up when she went on her prayer with keith. it might just work and also save them some time! ]
It would be easier to spread the message to an audience rather than to target one specific person, right? What if...we did something to remind all of the students to contact their parents?
[ she hums thoughtfully. ] That way we're hitting a wider range of people, and the chances of reaching that particular family are higher.

Wait.
[ Something's caught his eye. He has a pretty bad feeling, honestly. A creeping feeling that is distinctly uncomfortable, but which he can't place. And then-- he sees something move out of the corner of his eye. ]
... I think there's something really wrong here.

You're right. I saw it, too.

[Like now, when he's jogging and spacing out, and a water bottle is careening toward him (honestly, it's the other way around), and Pyrrha's just a little too far out of his eyesight.
[He catches sight of her, processes too late what she said, right as the water bottle goes under his foot.
[His leg goes up.
