The invitations had been sent, the work has been done (and into overtime after certain events), the orders have been made and the scenes have been set. Trying to plan a wedding without a planner can be pretty tough but the support system both men have did help in the long run. A lot of it even with a computer dying in the process. The point was to have a simple affair, no large fanfare considering this was not one of Heaven’s festivals and just a celebration of love between two people. This what both Leo and Aymeric wished for and they did their dammest to make it come to life, to hopefully a successful and eventful day but for all the right reasons.

They earned this happiness. Today is for them and they can share it with comrades and friends and family alike.

[Leo can't believe this is happening. He really can't believe this is happening. He and Aymeric are dressed up in what Leo honestly considers a bit of a sappy ensemble; their suits are both black, but Leo has a blue rose pinned to his jacket while Aymeric has a purple one. It's romantic and sappy and he loves this man so much.

But his hands are clammy and he hopes Aymeric doesn't notice.]

[He's holding your hand, Leo. He notices but instead of calling him out on it, Aymeric just lets his fingers curl around his hand a bit more tighter. All the while, he smiles at his dearest just to let him know that everything will be alright. Maybe with him being calm might help as they walk down the aisle and reach the end.

[Waiting for them at the end of the aisle, Ebisu is dressed in one of his nicest traditional kimonos. If they were mortal, literally any of them, maybe a priest's garb would be better suited... But a priest's job is to act as a representative to the gods. Considering that's what they all are, that's a little bit silly, so instead Ebisu is in fine deep blue and a kazaori eboshi. Behind him are his shinki a little distance away, just in case, with Kimi in more modern wear while Unmi follows his god's lead.]

[As the two finally stop before him, Ebisu takes a breath and speaks up. Despite his small frame, he makes sure to speak loudly enough to be heard by everyone.]

On this fortuitous day, we gods and virtuous souls gather together to perform a wedding ceremony, ushering in peace and good fortune to this pair.

[He nods his head to the two of them.]

Do you vow to share your joys and sorrows, and live a good life with each other?

[The lines he studied had some things about a "peaceful" life, and one full of descendants... But he's not really sure either of those things will apply to either of them, especially the guy who got injured and still ran around helping, so he'll settle for "good" and hope that covers mostly everything.]

[While he's sure Ebisu looks adorable all dressed up like he is, Leo really can't make himself care. All he cares about right now is how handsome Aymeric looks. He can't really look away.]

[Probably the best idea, Ebisu. Neither of these two know how to deal with peace, especially not Ser Dances With Death Flags over there.]

[Not many can say they have someone rather adorable (and able to tolerate) to officiate a ceremony. Some can say moogles count but it seems like adventurers rather punt them. Aymeric is sure to take heed of the words spoken as he turns to face Leo, keeping his grip tight.]

[He's fine with not being in the spotlight. This is a wedding, so the spotlight should definitely be on the couple. Beaming as they agree, Ebisu reaches over to lightly lay his hands on top of where the two are joined.]

Then, Prince Leo of Nohr, god of battle and rulers, are there any other words you wish to say to your groom before your bond is finalized here before us all?

Everything I could ever want to say to Aymeric I've said a hundred thousand times over. Even if I don't say it, he knows it. [To Aymeric:] I love you.

[Aymeric knows. He also knows that Leo isn't one for big speeches...but he on the other hand is. He promises that it will not go on and on.]

When we first met, I was glad to have met someone who was just as confused as myself in this realm. You were my first comrade and friend here, being able to speak freely about my own thoughts and feelings no matter how much it hurt. And you were and still are one of few who are not afraid to tell me if I am wrong if the occasion rises; there are those who say if you love someone and truly care, you support them no matter what. That support includes telling them if they are doing something wrong and to not hold back.

It's one of the reasons I fell in love with you. You are not afraid to bring me back to reality and something that makes me think fondly of you. It is not due to your linenage as royalty or status that I found myself giving my heart to you: it is your actions, your kindness, and your love that I am glad to be standing with you today.
