The invitations had been sent, the work has been done (and into overtime after certain events), the orders have been made and the scenes have been set. Trying to plan a wedding without a planner can be pretty tough but the support system both men have did help in the long run. A lot of it even with a computer dying in the process. The point was to have a simple affair, no large fanfare considering this was not one of Heaven’s festivals and just a celebration of love between two people. This what both Leo and Aymeric wished for and they did their dammest to make it come to life, to hopefully a successful and eventful day but for all the right reasons.

They earned this happiness. Today is for them and they can share it with comrades and friends and family alike.

[There are two presents from Ginia.

The first is a carefully wrapped box in metallic blue wrapping paper containing a cast iron kettle. There are care instructions inside the box as well as an assortment of nice teas.

The second is a nice envelope with a card inside - "To a future of love, joy, and peace, I wish you two the very best. - Ginia" - and several vouchers for passes to museums, zoos, aquariums, theme parks, etc. around Japan. The vouchers are good for up to four passes to each place with an additional note that if they need more passes, she'll help them out.]

[The Japanese way of wedding gifts is one that Ebisu can appreciate: cash. So there is a neat envelope addressed to the happy couple with some 33k of yen in it. He could give more, and almost did, before his shinki helped calm him down a little.]

[There are still gifts besides that, however, especially since two of his shinki are with him at this wedding. (Well, one of them is technically with Ginia, but, details.) Kimi has left a wrapped up gift for them that is revealed to be a set of fine kitchen knives. On Unmi's end, he's left for them a wrapped book all about struggling with technology, with everything carefully made to be easy to understand.]

[ Someone has left a tower of boxes here, united by a gold silk ribbon tied off with an especially audacious and extravagant bow. Within are presents for the happy couple. Whoever first decided wedding presents should be practical...never informed this giver.

Leo gets a jacket, perfectly tailored to fit him. Durable and luxurious fabric, fit for a King - and well-suited for projecting that regal air while only being slightly out of place in modern society. Someone has experience in selecting such items.

Aymeric gets a particularly fabulous hat with feathered plumes. It's less appropriate for wearing around the Near Shore, perhaps, but that does not mean one should not do so. Such hats beg for admiration.

The final gift is a bottle of wine from a vintage that's probably older than some old gods. It's cushioned in its box by laurel leaves.

[ Yoon has been having a rough time of it in the week leading up to the ceremony, but that's not going to stop him from thinking of a gift. After much deliberation and research, he makes a set of custom Wedding Ducks for Aymeric and Leo. In this case, both ducks are left uncolored, then one given a blue wrap at its neck the shade of Aymeric's eyes, the other purple like Leo's. The pair are wrapped in red cloth, but underneath are the 5 wishes for luck, customized for the pair:
1. Be wealthy.
2. Be in good health.
3. Be good husbands to one another.
4. To remain together through all lives (implying reincarnation).
5. Have many friends.

[Chris... doesn't know Aymeric and Leo that well, but she's pretty certain that showing up without a gift would be a terrible insult on her part. But she doesn't exactly know what is proper for it.

Thank god for the internet. They're westerners, or at least, they have names like them, so she focuses her search on western wedding ceremonies and customs. There's a registry... but... she doesn't know if Aymeric and Leo have a registry...

In the end, she ends up getting them a blender. A blender that Luger very clearly wrapped for her, because it's not a disaster. It includes a card with a generous bit of yen included, as is the Japanese custom, which Chris feels far less awkward about.]

Kairi went looking for a keepsake box and discovered this beauty albeit small. It's "Ebros Bronze", but the version she found at first was only 5" long in diameter, so she got another one made - a full 16" diameter instead, velvet lined. The perfect place to keep precious things, in her mind!

The actual ceremony is at Leo’s temple, behind it to be precise. The setup certainly conveys the image of elegance without it being over the top. There is no groom waiting at the end of the walkway but instead a certain small god of fortune well versed in making matters official standing on a step ladder (decorated naturally). The couple themselves are standing at the entrance, hands interlocking as they make their way down the aisle together.

[Leo can't believe this is happening. He really can't believe this is happening. He and Aymeric are dressed up in what Leo honestly considers a bit of a sappy ensemble; their suits are both black, but Leo has a blue rose pinned to his jacket while Aymeric has a purple one. It's romantic and sappy and he loves this man so much.

But his hands are clammy and he hopes Aymeric doesn't notice.]

[He's holding your hand, Leo. He notices but instead of calling him out on it, Aymeric just lets his fingers curl around his hand a bit more tighter. All the while, he smiles at his dearest just to let him know that everything will be alright. Maybe with him being calm might help as they walk down the aisle and reach the end.

RECEPTION [Open]

After the ceremony, the guests and party can go next door to Glitnir where the reception is being held at. They will be ‘greeted’ by two of Aymeric’s hawks, Drake and Argos watching them come in from the entrance but no divebombs. Moving to the back of the temple, the area is set up with several different tables for seating (guests can seat wherever) and a buffet near the back of both savory and sweet items. But hands off the wedding cake until the couple starts slicing it up.

There’s also an Open Bar being manned by Sukomi, Aymeric’s soulless shinki, dressed also in a lovely kimono and standing next to a sign that those able to drink need to be aware of. And if anyone thinks it is a joke, Sukomi is wearing a camera around her neck. But she may not be the only one who can catch something...everyone has smartphones after all. Naturally, there is a Dance Floor for anyone to enjoy whether it is a couple or a group, the songs provided by the wonderful Tsubasa Kazanari are there for enjoyment by all.

And if that is not to the taste of some, there happens to be Games provided, most if not all, meant to be played in groups. There’s some card games such as Apples to Apples (for those wanting more family friendly) to Cards Against Humanity (Please don’t explain this to Goten or Nanako) and even Uno. You poor souls. If you are interested in something a bit more challenging, there is a rather large tower of Jenga-style blocks for those wanting more. It’s large enough for someone rather tall to sit on the top and not destroy the structure. But then there is yet another type of game style tucked away in a corner: the video game kind. There happens to be several controllers, a new console called a ‘Switch’ and three multiplayer games: they just so happen to have the names ‘Kart’, ‘Party’ and ‘Splat’ involved.

...yeah, if anyone asks, Leo is an absolute shit.

It's a beautiful wedding. Not because of the decorations or the food. The ceremony was handed quite professionally (so maybe she's biased toward the officiant), but it's a beautiful wedding because it's two people celebrating their love and starting a new life together. Ginia isn't sure if she's been to a wedding in her living life, so if this is her first one? It's a good one. Congratulations Aymeric and Leo.

Ginia, wearing a red lace dress and nude flats, enjoys the reception with a relaxed calm not often found with her. If she's seated, there's always a small plate of sweets nearby, sometimes a glass of champagne or juice-based cocktail too. On her feet, she's having fun as an amateur photographer as she wanders around the reception taking pictures on her camera. If you've had a bit too much to drink or you're an exceptionally bad dancer (or exceptionally good)? She'll see and it'll be recorded for all of history. With her phone dangling from a strap around her wrist, she's in a rare sociable mood.

Her calm lasts up until she joins in a mini-game based party game on the Switch. Did you take her stars? Did you take all of her stars? YOU MONSTER. That's it, no mercy, only winning in this game of M. Party.

So here's the thing about the Switch games: Aymeric honestly has no idea about how the game can break friendships or create chaos. It's telling that he's never played it before and when he first sees Ginia, he has no idea what exactly he is in for when he asks:

"Do you mind if I join you? It looks like fun."

Famous Last Words? Quite possible.

Bad drinking decisions, you say? As it turns out, her plus one is all about that. Not that he's gotten drunk yet. The night's just started, so he'd have to drink a preposterous amount very quickly, but hey. He still calls over to her when he sees her wandering around, waving his hand in the air. "Jitsumi! Over here!"

He's sitting on a stool, grinning with some drinks next to him. There's Unmi, too, although he has a drink in one hand and his face in the other, shoulders shaking with some quiet laughter. Kimi also has something in his hand... a thin box of sorts that will become apparent when she gets closer or even just at his next words. "Have you ever heard of the pocky game?"

From where he's balanced carefully on a stool of his own, Ebisu smiles. "It's apparently very simple and fun!" he says cheerfully.

Yoon is wearing a pale brown shortcoat and black shorts, in what he assumes is formal attire for the day. He's manage all through the ceremony not to get upset, but by now he's getting tired and the strain is showing.

"Sorry, didn't mean to knock you out," he says just barely over the game's noise, not actually sorry because he's genuinely not sure if he did what the woman is upset about. He's just trying to help entertain the guests, including the ones he doesn't know. "I could get some more snacks if you want."

Tsubasa has two elements that are hers, ideally. One is the battlefield. It was where her family had tried to forge her initially, but it is not where her heart was. No, that was the other one: on the stage, and singing. Though she'd participated in Hibiki's show, and sung a bit on the beach, this is the first stage since arriving where she was really able to truly put herself out there as herself and just that. She's wearing a slim blue dress, and actually manages to clean up fairly well where she hadn't been given a lot of reasons to dress up her whole time her so far.

Of course, it was not for her. It was absolutely for the couple of the hour, and that's why she did it. It's why she sings in the first place, to bring light and love to the world around her. Though, she's had to scale herself back just a tad - most of her normal set lists are energetic, passionate affairs that can be a little over the top. But she's versatile, and can restrain herself. In many cases opting for much softer, slower songs, unless requested to really go at it. She's very open to requests actually, and seems to have a pretty good knowledge of at least common songs that are somehow in both this world and her own. Which sadly does not contain any of her own, although there are a lot which are ... strangely similar to her own style.

Regardless, she does take breaks to participate in activities when not locking herself to the stage. Mostly from her own enthusiasm to keep singing. She's brought along Chris Yukine as her +1, largely because she thought her friend may enjoy it or the buffet, but also a small desire to show off. She does take enough breaks to converse, though. After all, another part of coming here was to get to know others in her same situation better.

As Tsubasa starts a break, Ginia comes by with a glass of water for her. She's heard Tsubasa sing on the battlefield, but hearing her sing in an entirely different setting is something else. The range and variety is as incredible as her voice. It's also clear she's deeply enjoying herself.

"Your voice is amazing," Ginia compliments through her phone after handing over the glass. "They made the right choice picking you to perform."

When Tsubasa finally takes a break, she'll find a small child hurrying over right to her. "Susanoo!" And yet, even as she looks over to him, she'll find him almost immediately tripping forward on his own kimono. It's a good thing that Unmi is right behind him, and able to lunge forward awkwardly to grab his god before he faceplants. It ends with one of Unmi's knees on the ground, sure, but crisis averted.

Ebisu barely seems to notice as he smiles up at her. "Thank you very much for your singing!"

OH BOY GUESS WHO'S ALSO TAKING ADVANTAGE OF A BREAK IN THE PROGRAM. Looking super dapper in a light tux. Even the spygoat at her side, carrying with it the obligatory tea table, is wearing a corsage. This is a Fancy occasion, and all comport themselves maa-ccordingly.

Hibiki tilts her head to indicate the stage. "No union forged to the strains of your song could ever falter."

With the temple being as busy as it is, Ebisu knows they can't stay too long. However, they've all dressed up, and it would be a shame to put that all to waste. So, accompanied by Unmi and a little more loosely by Kimi, Ebisu can be found getting around.

A - Cake

If you're going to a wedding, of course you should have some of the cake! However, there's a slight problem Ebisu seems to be having. One is that he's a little too short to reach the platter. The other is what has him staring down with some slight concern at the sleeves of his kimono. Will they get dirty by accidentally dipping into the frosting, or...

Someone should probably help him out of these dilemmas.

B - Dancing

For those looking towards the dancefloor, whether that's with wariness or interest, they'll have a tiny god trotting up to them. "You're interested, aren't you?" He reaches over to take a hand. "Let's try it! This seems really very fun!"

C - Games

If anyone thinks his shinki are going to let him discover unfortunate things with CAH or get stuck in a riot from the video games, they have another thing coming. Still, he wants to play some game or another...

...Which is why he's sitting in a game of Uno, smiling slightly at his cards. "Oh! I suppose that's unfortunate."

...What does that mean.

Hibiki adores this particular performer, having hand-selected her for CelePara Talent Agency (twice). Such music is suitable for a uniting of gods! And, what's equally (if not more) important - it merits the tremendous favor that is Shikyoin Hibiki gracing this dance floor.

So she offers a hand to a lady standing alone.

"Solitude doesn't befit such a joyous unification," she points out. Behind her, even a few pairs of purple stuffed robot goats roll out onto the dance floor, shimmying in place. (Some are wearing little corsages, some little bow ties. They aren't necessarily matched up corsage goat to bow tie goat. The gender baaaa-nary is a myth.) "Let's bless this union with the most magnificent dance."

"Once again!"

Somehow Hibiki has ended up with more cards than anyone else in Uno. Hibiki hadn't even wanted to play Uno - someone at this table had roped her into it (maybe it was you). But now?

Now you are all captives. To Shikyoin Hibiki's inability to stop playing a game until she wins it.

She tosses her hand down into the pile of cards, glaring at the person across from her. "I'll have you shuffle and deal the next round! Posthaste!"

[ All in all the wedding had gone quite well, or as well as things can be in such a place. Estinien would be a liar if he said he hadn't been keeping half an eye out for anything out of place, for something that could remotely threaten such an event. Had anything even tried he would have destroyed them with barely a thought; nothing was to get in the way of Aymeric's day; not when so much planning had gone into it.

Estinien doesn't understand the concept of marriage too well but he does know that if it makes Aymeric happy then it's not to be scoffed at (not too much anyway). Leo makes Aymeric happy so by default everything is fine and his friend's happiness is his own. If only certain cat critters could be as happy and less murder-y!

It's not difficult to find the dragoon after the event has moved next door. He's been advised that loitering on the roof is a no no today so he's gone to the next best place; the top of the jenga blocks. From there he can not only watch the surroundings for an opportunity to harass Aymeric but also pass on the odd, sarcastic comment to those trying not to topple the tower.]

There you are. [ Estinien spots Aymeric and can't help but peer down at his friend with the smallest hint of a smile that only the other can see.] Everyone has been on their utmost best behaviour; I know not what bargaining with fate you managed but my advice would be to keep it up.

[The moment he spots the god free and finished with the ceremony and what not, he's running over and bouncing to him. Even if Aymeric doesn't catch him it's fine, he's still going to throw his arms around him and attach to his middle]

[It sort of works the same as a birthday title wise right? Goten's dark eyes are practically sparkling as he grins at his favorite god.]

How's it feel to be married to Leo? Are you happy? Does this mean Leo and his shinki get to live with us now?

B - Cake

[The cake is one of the main things Goten has been eyeing the whole wedding. He might of tried to sneak a little bit of icying only to get his hand smacked by Yoon before being taken else where earlier.

But now, it's free game!

With people already getting slices for themselves, Goten is on his 5th or 6th slice of cake! It's easy to tell too with how much frosting covering his face, hands and is even a bit in his hair. He sits on the floor by the wedding cake table, just enjoying the sugary goodness! He's going to be bouncing off the walls]


C - Games - Uno

[Goten has been trying to play but unlike the video games, this card game just goes over is head. He doesn't get how it works really and after losing a good handful of games he's looking over the cards on his own.]

They're just numbers and colors....I don't get it.

[He huffs a bit. Maybe he should stick to video games]

Kairi comes dressed in a certain getup that was very special to her, but after she spent so long shopping for something else to wear... it felt like the only thing that was right, under the circumstances. It was one of the first really ostentatious gifts that Forrest bought her, and what she wore the night that they started dating.

But she's determined to be a good big sister and look after Goten for the evening. That means she's rather busy for most of it, or joined at his hip for playing some games, but every so often she completely loses track of him - either due to the constrictive nature of the dress, his energy, or both. Late in the day, she has time to herself and settles down in the game area.

"I don't suppose anyone will play the Kart game with me? I'm... well, I'm a little good, at least I like to think so." Again, there's a bittersweet memory there, because she got good playing those games at Sora and Roxas's joint temple. Still, any game would be fine. She just happened to be introduced to video games in a household of very competitive young men, that's all.
