The invitations had been sent, the work has been done (and into overtime after certain events), the orders have been made and the scenes have been set. Trying to plan a wedding without a planner can be pretty tough but the support system both men have did help in the long run. A lot of it even with a computer dying in the process. The point was to have a simple affair, no large fanfare considering this was not one of Heaven’s festivals and just a celebration of love between two people. This what both Leo and Aymeric wished for and they did their dammest to make it come to life, to hopefully a successful and eventful day but for all the right reasons.

They earned this happiness. Today is for them and they can share it with comrades and friends and family alike.

Hibiki adores this particular performer, having hand-selected her for CelePara Talent Agency (twice). Such music is suitable for a uniting of gods! And, what's equally (if not more) important - it merits the tremendous favor that is Shikyoin Hibiki gracing this dance floor.

So she offers a hand to a lady standing alone.

"Solitude doesn't befit such a joyous unification," she points out. Behind her, even a few pairs of purple stuffed robot goats roll out onto the dance floor, shimmying in place. (Some are wearing little corsages, some little bow ties. They aren't necessarily matched up corsage goat to bow tie goat. The gender baaaa-nary is a myth.) "Let's bless this union with the most magnificent dance."

"Once again!"

Somehow Hibiki has ended up with more cards than anyone else in Uno. Hibiki hadn't even wanted to play Uno - someone at this table had roped her into it (maybe it was you). But now?

Now you are all captives. To Shikyoin Hibiki's inability to stop playing a game until she wins it.

She tosses her hand down into the pile of cards, glaring at the person across from her. "I'll have you shuffle and deal the next round! Posthaste!"

Yoon is wearing a pale brown shortcoat and black shorts, in what he assumes is formal attire for the day. He's manage all through the ceremony not to get upset, but by now he's getting tired and the strain is showing. That's why he watches as Hibiki dances with a companion and waits for her to finish before he stumbles close - his usual combative nature gone.

"Do you need a drink? Or something to eat?"

He's not a host for the event. He's just trying to take care of the happy couple's guests.

Absorbed in witnessing her partner's departure, Hibiki doesn't catch this particular staff(?) member's identity at first. So her order begins, distracted and offhand.

"Champagne would be best, extra bubbly. This is a joyous--"

"--wait, it's you?!"

Oh drat. A spygoat that'd been waiting to see if Maa-ster needs tea got bumped by somebody, and now there's a broken cup on the floor. Another goat rolls over with a dustpan they'll try to nudge the pieces into. They can't leave a mess at the wedding!

Hibiki, meanwhile, is staring at Yoon. "You're finally behaving as befits your station....?"

But he's. Now that she's thinking about his approach. And his wording. He's kind of. Bad at it.

Hibiki's heart wells with ambivalence.

"It's not that," Yoon's usual grumble much more tame, "I'm one of Aymeric's shinki, so of course I'm here helping out."

Still, she answered his question didn't she? So he starts to turn to leave, a resigned sigh as he turns back over his shoulder and blasé confirmation. "Champagne, then? And..." He stares down at the mess the goat is cleaning up. "A few paper towels?"

A third goat has since shown up with a tiny mop brush attached to the front, so it looks like the tea spill is being maa-ttended to. They don't want to cause undue trouble for the existing staff! So leave looking after Maa-ster to them!

"Your delivery leaves much to be desired." Hibiki refuses to acknowledge the draa-ma being enacted around them. We do not talk, except to ourselves, about the Tea Cup Problem.

Either that, or a host without the proper hospitality spirit is just that preoccupying. There are - there are limits! Standards! Ideals! "Correcting your demeanor upon your return is best."

PARTIES ARE EXTREMELY IMPORTANT BUSINESS.

He sees the goats and wishes that literally anyone else was in charge of them, because then he could ask to inspect them for intellectual curiosity's sake. But no. It had to be Hibiki.

"... Maybe I just won't come back at all then? If I'm so troublesome to you? Maybe it's not worth the champagne to deal with me?" Some of that zing in his voice is back, a little sarcastically self-deprecating, but increasingly rising in tone.

"You'll return."

Hibiki says it casually, almost nonchalantly - taking this fact utterly for granted. Then she looks at Yoon out of the corners of her eyes. "If you value service, that is."

And if you don't value service, well, what are you doing serving?

The goats who cleaned up this cup wait to see where Yoon goes, since they're not sure where the traa-sh is in this estaa-blishment. So perhaps he'll get a chance to look them over, after all. If he doesn't mind making a guest wait.

Dance

It's not the dance Ginia is looking for, but it's still one she's happy to have. She's wearing a red lace dress and nude flats. Her phone dangles off her wrist from a strap and she's sipping at a glass of orange juice, but at the offer, she sets both down at the nearest table. A tiny curtsy is offered as she takes Hibiki's hand. Lead away.

Hibiki is an excellent lead - which will come in handy since so many of the ladies of the Far Shore, present company no exception, are taller than she is. Despite this discrepancy, her hold on Ginia is reassuring and her steps gracefully easy to follow. She's more at home on the dance floor than out in casual company, actually. Surprise surprise.

"Intuit the rhythm," she encourages her dance partner. "Let the steps flow from you like the pressing of the red PriPara button. Un, deux, trois."

Ginia is very good at that arcade game, and Hibiki is hoping that will translate to actual dancing. She'd designed that game to increase radiance on the Far Shore, after all!

Ginia is very good at PriPara, but as they dance along the floor, it's clear Ginia is also good at dancing too. Or rather, she's good at the motions of dancing. In a forgotten life, formal dancing was one of many skills crammed into her mind and muscle memory. Be good enough to blend in at a party, don't be good enough to stand out in anyway. Be a pretty, proper holstered weapon.

But that's forgotten. Today is a wedding of a friend and with so few opportunities to dance, it's nice. Ginia smiles easily as she glides along with Hibiki, movements technically sound.

This...!

No wonder Ginia took to PriPara so quickly. The seeds of ability had already been sown within her, waiting to blossom! All it took was the glorious rays of the sun to coax them free. Hibiki doesn't need to feign a smile of enjoyment. It's just so refreshing to perform alongside people whose capabilities are worthy of respect.

"You are splendid!" May she spin you, splendid lady? "The sight of your dancing figure outshines any chandelier. Behold."

They sweep past the present table, where a stacked pile of gifts is on the verge of tipping over. This is not at all because Hibiki outsourced preparing the present to maa-ssistants without hands. No, it has a deeper meaning: "The presents long to be unwrapped by you, and lean forward."

Yes, Hibiki, you may spin her. Ginia turns gracefully, coming back in step with Hibiki as the dance continues. It's fun having a chance to finally dance without injury holding her back and Hibiki is certainly an excellent dance partner. There's a grin on her face as they dance, expression turning a little toward shock as they sweep past the palisade of precipitously piled presents. Are those all for Aymeric and Leo?

From the immensely self-satisfied look on Hibiki's face when next Ginia turns to face her: yes, those are all Aymeric and Leo's presents. The ones from Hibiki are, of course, the Best. Or at least the highest-quality. Present-giving is yet another arena in which a flawless genius inevitably succeeds.

"Sharing such a dance with you is a gift in and of itself," she concludes, on a roll here now that she's having a good time (it feels like it's been a while since Hibiki's had a good time - even her vacation was, ah, interrupted). "I'll engrave it upon my heart."

Shall they make their way to the center of the room? And continue adding flourishes to their routine? The presence of a dance of this caliber is itself the finest blessing any wedding can possess!

[Chris was mostly just mingling, looking a bit awkward while doing so, so she'd gone off by herself for a bit, to try and decompress. When Hibiki asks her... she ends up staring for a moment, before replying.]

... Did. Did you mean to ask me, Shikyoin?

[... well, there's no one else here...]

Do you doubt my focus?

[ It's kind of hard to ignore when those bright green peepers are boring into your soul. ]

Come. Let us witness your ability.

Uh... maybe? [She looked nervous, her gaze averting from the white-haired "genius".]

I guess I could do it. But... no mocking me if I'm not very good, alright?

Have no fear.

[ Hibiki will attempt to take Chris by the hand and the small of her back, easing her out onto the floor. Now, following the rhythm....and her lead.... ]

Led by a performer such as I, even a duckling could trip the light fantastic.

[ ....we begin! ]

[Oh. Geez. Hibiki sure is tall, and she sure is holding her hand with her other hand on her back. This is. This is definitely a thing.]

W-who you calling a duckling?! You're... like a goose... or something!

[And. Oh geez. They're dancing. Chris sucks in a deep breath, tense and nervous as hell, focusing on doing what she can to avoid stepping on Hibiki's feet.]

Time will tell which of us happens to honk.

[ Not stepping on Hibiki's feet will be - surprisingly easy?! It might be hard for Chris to admit, but Hibiki's frustrating tendency to be as skilled as she thinks she is comes fully into play on the dancefloor.

Hibiki is really good at this. Both at dancing, and at leading. It's easy to follow the rhythm, know what's expected, and feel secure. Even her hands are very warm.

We have this last piece of trivia on the excellent authority of a baby with a bad personality and the goats of the PriParis Zoo, so it must be true. ]

when the groom is a newbie to uno and somehow beat everyone

Aymeric was not expecting to win, this being the first time playing it. But wow does Hibiki not look too happy at this result. He shrugs and keeps up his smile and the weird thing is, he's being genuine about it.

"Of course, this game is rather fun after all." Nodding and taking the deck, shuffling it several times before dealing out the cards. Maybe Hibiki will win this time...as long as Aymeric doesn't have another Wild Draw Four card in his hand.

"Hmph. Savor such lighthearted feelings while you may."

Hibiki looks at her hand, and....gk, this certainly is an unappealing hodgepodge of items. No sense of harmony or flow at all. Appalling.

Still, she'll make it work. This time will be different. Of this, she is certain! "Even on the opponent's wedding day, refraining from overwhelming victory isn't my style."

Compared to cutthroat politics, this card game is a walk in park. Aymeric is more than happy to join in the festivities. It'll be hard to figure out what he has since his face is the perfect example of a poker face; do not let your opponents read you so early.

"As if I wish for you to go easy on this day. 'Twould be a disservice to us both." Look, Hibiki doesn't seem to be the type to back down from a fight and he can definitely respect that. Honestly it's passion and he welcomes it. Aymeric will go easy and draw the top card from the deck, a blue '7'. Oh thank Halone, it's not a special card.

For now anyway.

"The decisive move is mine." Red. We're in red now. Or 1. Which makes Aymeric's opponent look even more smug than her normal demeanor, for some reason. Fool. This is her turf! Her absolute territory!

If there's one thing Hibiki's good at, it's drawing the number 1!

"Ah, I see." Aymeric nods and counters by placing a Green 1 on the pile. No blood so far but there's a feeling that it might be more glitter instead. Why glitter? It's a pain to clean up.

"This is rather nice. Thankfully Raine has decided to go hunt elsewhere and the cards are safe." Referring to one of his hawks with the tendency to try and eat anything. But there are a couple nips on Aymeric's cards for good measure.
