Who: Hope and YOU.
What: Some angst over the loss of his shinki/a friend (he's not good at coping with that stuff), and random encounters.
When: April 11 and onwards, at least until the new event.
Where: Around the Far Shore and the Near Shore.
Warnings: FF-style angst but other than that, none.

OPTION B
Closed to Slaine
[Maybe he's expecting this, maybe not, but Slaine will be getting a text message in the early morning anyway.]
Hi. Can we talk?
What: Some angst over the loss of his shinki/a friend (he's not good at coping with that stuff), and random encounters.
When: April 11 and onwards, at least until the new event.
Where: Around the Far Shore and the Near Shore.
Warnings: FF-style angst but other than that, none.
OPTION A
[If there are trees around, one can expect to see a small, white-haired god running about in them, milling in them, even sitting on the branches if they can carry his weight. Though even if he's of short stature, he may still catch someone's eye because of how exactly he gets around up there-- by letting his powers do the work for him. For a second his body turns into light and the figure jumps, and he loses the special effects once he's got something solid under his feet.
Over and over again, though Hope doesn't bother with his abilities if the trees are just right next to each other. So yes, he might be turning a few heads here and there, and he will notice, turning to look. Not immediately, but eventually, unless he's called out to first.]
Oh... Am I trespassing?
Sorry. [He's not so enthusiastic about his apology however, even as he's swinging himself out of it and landing on his feet on the ground.]
OPTION B
[Okay, so sometimes Hope does more than just mope. Though what he does outside of that is... pretty damn nerdy.
See, the Near Shore has a lot of stuff some people just toss away even if they're still perfectly fine in Hope's opinion, like this electronic store with all the machines and phones and other items that someone could still use, but they just toss because no one wants them! And that someone is probably Hope, honestly.
He's already gathered up the stuff that don't look totally broken or ruined into a box, and now he's trying to lift the box. Keyword being try.
If he notes that someone is looking at him-- actually looking and seeing him, not just seeing through him like any resident of the Near Shore-- he might perk up a little.]
Hi, can you help me out here? [With the big box of stuff, he means.]

Hi. Can we talk?
text
Having lost three gods, he's almost tacitly accepted they must have all vanished, but he knows this name and number... So he's still here after all. It takes him a moment to process that]
Of course. Do you mean like this, or do you want me to meet you somewhere?

[With that, Hope waits on the so-called front porch, because there's no other word he can use to describe the spot out before his temple's main door. His mood may suit the surroundings of his house, given how gloomy he is at the moment.]
action
It still takes him a while, since he lacks a god's capacity to move from one locale to another instantaneously, but Hope's temple comes into view eventually. As does Hope, he observes, and he offers a small wave as he approaches]
Sorry for the wait.

Hope stands from the floor and dusts off his shorts before looking up at Slaine. And sighs. He's been stewing in this for a while, but now that he's gotten someone to talk to...
He honestly has no idea what to say.]
Thanks for coming.

OPTION B, probably 11th afternoon
Isn't that just trash? [ He peeks into the box, and realizes that it's more fitting for a "used" shop rather than garbage-box ]
no subject
If they still work, then they're not trash. I can still do something with them.
[A beat.]
Somehow.
no subject
Lead the way. You're intending to get to Far Shore with all of this, or find some more first?
no subject
[Learning, he means. The rudimentary explanations aren't doing much to help someone like Hope, who needs to know all the whys and hows of something. That's why he's doing this in the first place.
He stands on tiptoe and checks the box.]
Can you handle more?
no subject
Maybe you'd need to check a very specific place to find books on them. Like library of engineering school is more likely to contain such books, than normal bookstore.
no subject
[And Hope isn't going to use his natural invisibility to the residents of the Near Shore to go in and grab whatever he wants. That's just being a thief, and he's not going to resort to that, even if he wants to know more for science.
He takes stock of what he has in the box anyway, and thinks... that's definitely not enough. He tugs on Genos' wrist to get him moving, because he wants to start going down the street.]

Don't worry, I don't think you've done anything wrong.
[He watches for a second, before sighing and sitting up.]
What's wrong, kid?
no subject
He pats his shorts clear of any debris from the trees before looking down at the man.]
Were you sleeping?
no subject
[He frowns. This is kid can't lie, can he?]
If you don't want to say what's wrong that's fine, but don't go around looking like someone who's puppy just got kidnapped. You look like shit.
[Added for emphasis, of course.]
no subject
Sorry. [He cant help it! He's never had to lie before, and he's really just not up to actually trying to be convincing.]
I should just go, if I'm bothering you...
no subject
Too late, I'm already up.
[And to prove this point he stands up, cleaning up his pants, and staring down at the boy.]
Let's see... Why don't you try to smile? It'll help with the whole puppy look I think.

Oh, that boy that was daydreaming in class! What was his name again? Hope?
This is an interesting power to Sora because he was a god of light as well. So now he's smiling and bouncing on the branch he's on and watches Hope jump down.]
Hey Hope, what are you doing? I didn't know you could do that.
no subject
Sora, right. He's so bouncy, even if Hope doesn't feel it, but he's not about to burst the other teen's bubble. He'll try and stop being gloomy right now.]
I... don't really tell people about this? [For whatever reason... well, he doesn't know. Maybe because he just hasn't had any reason to do otherwise.
no subject
[Sorry Hope, Sora is a bundle of curious questions and energy. It wasn't every day that he found a god that seemed similar to him.]
no subject
[What does he know about himself as a god, exactly? He's researched enough, but there's still not much information he can get from the Near Shore. ]
Horus is... a sky god, and sometimes considered a light god too. It's all I know.
no subject
[Sora hops down from the tree branch weightlessly and tucks his arms behind his head.]
Sorry I didn't mean to get nosy. I'm Baldr, god of light too. That's why I was asking. My power isn't anything like that though.

Hey! No, it's fine! I just... that's really neat. What you've been doing. I still don't get how it can work, but it still looks cool!
[Battler never gives up on doubting magic apparently.]
no subject
[For a resident of the Far Shore... that's pretty strange.
No, wait, he said he still doesn't get it, which implies that he's probably seen it before. But doesn't understand? All right, so Hope can get that, since these things are beyond even himself but then again, his use of his abilities is mostly instinctual at this point.]
no subject
[He rubs the back of his head, looking uncertain.]
I'm just not sure how it can work. It's... ridiculous. It shouldn't be able to work like that...
