"No problem," Chris replied, while standing at Ginia's side. She felt her shinki's nervousness, but was otherwise not trying to show it outwardly. She knew from experience that commenting on someone's anxiety tended to make it worse.

She was decked out in full Symphogear armor, and had already transformed her Armed Gear into a set of pistols. She stood there, watching for any sign of trouble as they talked.

"But be prepared, I'm starving today."

"What Yukine isn't saying is that we would have helped regardless."

Not that she wants to sink access to a free meal, mind you. She's also transformed, arms crossed and leaning up against a wall.

"It is after all what we are here for - be it in this world, or our own."

Chris wastes no time in taking action. She takes aim with her pistols to shoot down the ayakashi, before finishing them off with shots from Luger's vessel form.

"Senpai, go!" she calls out. "We'll cover you!"

In time before her little nap, Tsubasa wouldn't have been a lot of good here. Now, is another matter. She summons several electrical energy blades to go streaking down towards the swarming Ayakashi, but not aiming for much damage. This is a distraction, as she gets in close, drawing a tanto that is not apart of her Symphogear.

"REND!"

"Ugh, they're like roaches. Why the hell are so many small fry crawling of the woodwork?!"

Chris settles her gaze on the jellyfish ayakashi, and makes a face. "Way too early to be reminded of squishy tentacle things," she mutters, before focusing on those. As she does, she turns to Tsubasa.

"You and your new shinki holding up okay, senpai?"

Another slash and Tsubasa lands with a twirl. Her eyes flicker a bit at the jellyfish too, and she sighs.

"Fine, yes. Although I am beginning to wonder if we will ever be in the vicinity of a normal parade here..."

With Ginia trapping them like that, Chris trains her guns on the ayakashi and tears it apart with repeated gunfire. No more creepy tentacles watching them.

She turns to Tsubasa, and smirks. "I think these things are pretty much cursed, senpai," she said. "Or we are. But hey, it's not like we aren't used to that kind of thing. Look at what happens every time you hold a big concert."

Tsubasa hasn't been back on her feet for very long. Honestly, jumping right into battle afterwards probably wasn't the wisest move, but she felt like she needed to be doing something. As such, when Chris makes that crack, she shoots her a sharp look.

"Not every ti--"

Enough of a distraction for a loose ayakashi to swoop past her, slamming into her wrist and sending her soulless shinki spinning out from her grasp. She takes a leap back and curses. "Dammit!"

Chris's eyes go wide as Tsubasa's shinki is sent flying from her hands. She lets out a "Shit", and a quick apology, before opening fire on the ayakashi that hit her and are now blocking Ginia's path.

Ginia's offer surprises her... but she believes it's not something she should speak up about now, given the situation. In the long run, it's probably a good idea anyway.
