Operation distract Iskander
Who: Saber, Iskander, Suzaku, Edge and Waver
Where: Saber's temple and then somewhere on the Near Shore
What: Dinner at Saber's temple followed by Saber taking Iskander out drinking. (We do apologise)
When: May 20th
Warnings: Mentions of alcohol. I will add as we go on if applicable.
Dinner for Five
Suzaku had been in the kitchen for the last hour or so. He had been quite confident when Saber had mentioned friends coming over that he would be able to cook something. His cooking had been steadily improving and ever he could admit that his food tasted alright most of the time.
A couple of notable exceptions but there hadn't been any major disasters in at least a month. He hadn't seen how adding two more people would make a difference.
To be fair it wasn't a disaster. Yet. But there had been more things than Suzaku had thought to keep track of and he had no idea how he could look at a machine and understand how everything fit and connected together and yet a meal was so complicated it might as well be magic.
It does mean that when guests arrived it will be someone other than Suzaku who opens the door.
Drinking time
[After the meal Iskander and Saber go drinking. Try not to cause any diplomatic incidents.]
Waiting up...
[Leaving the shinki to do their best not to fret about their gods and the trouble they might get into.]

[Well... Counter Guardians are the big exception there in some cases... BUT... the piece of information floating up to Waver stops short.
---- eeeeeeeeeeeerk! YOU POOR, POOR MAN!]
No better.
[Facepalm.]
What happened next in this train wreck?

Best stick to the story.] We managed to lure the ayakashi outside and convince Lord Saber that using my vessel form to rend them was more efficient.
[Saber often complained it was too efficient and therefore less fun...]

[It isn't much of a bright side to say that.]

[Rubbing face.]
At least Iskandar and Caster and everyone else involved in that gods sparring mess [NAMELY YOURS TRULY.] only tried to detonate Amaterasu's training grounds a little.
[A LITTLE.]
A couple times.
[A COUPLE TIMES.]
If those two ever think of sparring, insist on choosing the area yourself, Edge.

Except it is probably something he should know. Especially if it is worse then trying to detonate the grounds of the temple of the queen of the heavens.]

[Though Edge almost immediately shakes his head, a moment's thought being all that he needs to realize his argument is wrong.] No, they won't even plan. Saber will just do it. Probably start as soon as it's suggested.

[Turning to the topic of Iskandar.]
He'd try to sneak around me too, to be honest. If he just doesn't... go for it. If I'm not there, yell for me. I'm strong enough to break them apart if they're getting out of control.
[He feels very certain he could do that much with his magic, while not actually getting between them.]
Wrangling either one of them is hard enough, the two of them... well that just requires all hands on board.
[SIGH.]

Lord Saber usually listens to Edge... Eventually.
[Usually after much arguing and negotiation. But at least the arguing and negotiation distracts Saber from doing whatever it is that they were trying to prevent in the first place.]

But you know, he's a good guy, and I don't lose sight of that. For all his flaws, he's a good guy.
