A Welcome Knightmare.
Who: Suzaku and open.
When: 6th June
Where: Saber's temple
What: Saber's temple gets an unexpected guest.
For Temple inhabitants. Suzaku had spent the day before training, throwing himself into physical exertion to try and stop his mind over thinking things. He was a knight. Not just a soldier but a knight to a princess. A princess of a country who had invaded his own. The little he knew about his life didn't quite make sense. Four nights in the last eight months he had woken with a memory of before. Meeting Princess Euphemia, fighting in Lancelot, walking through fields of bodies as a child, being paraded through the streets convicted of murder, rescued by Zero. This one... He had been knighted and no one had seemed pleased about that. Except Lloyd and Princess Euphemia herself.
It had been hard to sleep that night, trying to silence the sneering comments of Britannian nobles that were repeating inside his mind. But sleep he did eventually and he woke, early.
It took a little while before he had need to go outside as he went about his tasks. But when he did he stopped short.
"Lancelot?"
Indeed it was, a large mecha stood outside of the temple, a bunch of balloons in one hand. To avoid all doubt there was a banner strung across the front of the castle. WELCOME LANCELOT.
Suzaku approached, jumping up to the cockpit, using his shinki lightness to do so. He reached out to open the hatch and stared for a moment in awe. How was this here? It was from his world? He had seen it in his memories, piloted it. How had it got to this heaven in a different world?
"Saber is going to love this..."
Open to All
There is a mecha outside of Saber's temple, it has likely been spotted zooming around and Saber's excitement can probably be felt across the whole of the heavens.
Come and investigate?

She's seen anime, she knows what mechs are, it's fine.
Curious who the pilot is, Ginia picks up her pace, hoping to get close enough to wave down the pilot. If Suzaku isn't the one piloting the mecha himself, hopefully he's around to shed some light on the situation.

"Hello Ginia."
no subject
"Hi, Suzaku," she signs. "This is incredible. Have you always had it or did it just show up?"
no subject
"It just showed up." He signed carefully, "Though it was in the first ever memory I got back."
no subject
"You look at ease in there. Does it have a name?"
no subject
"It's name is Lancelot. Do you want to come up? There's room."

Super fighting robot...!
A robot zipping around a temple's grounds is a much different kind of big, unusual thing than he was expecting.
This is definitely something worth scoping out, though without knowing much about it, he's keeping a respectable distance from the robot.
sorry about the late!
He watched Keith as he jogged.]

Mostly, he wants to see who's piloting it, maybe a little in seeing how it works... as such, when it seems like a good opportunity, he waves in the direction of the mecha. Might as well flag it down if he can, right?
no subject
When he got close enough the Knightmare went down onto one knee and the hatch opened, revealing Suzaku.
"Hello." He nodded politely.
no subject
"That...that...it's..."
no subject
"It's name is Lancelot, I don't know why it is here but it was in one of my memories."
Why it was no in the heavens outside the temple Suzaku had no idea. But there were many things that didn't make sense, he had mostly stopped questioning them.
no subject
"...really??" That was about the best he could manage.
no subject
"If it's anything like any other skills I should be able to pilot it..." He had instinctively known how to fight, so this should be similar. "Shall we try it, my lord?"
Edge would probably have a lot to say if he were out here now, but Suzaku is almost certain there is no danger to his god and Saber looks so much like an excited child right now. It will be a squeeze with two people, but do-able.
no subject
"I'm sure if I can watch you pilot it, it should be easy enough to learn how it's done!"
no subject
"I would offer to teach you, but I am just going to be going from instinct." Not great for teaching. Perhaps after he has done it a while he would be able to explain how rather than just doing it.
He found the ignition key, a fancy memory stick and plugged it into the slot. There was a sound and the lights turned on, a screen brought up a message in Britannian, which Saber would recognise as English. Suzaku paused to read it, frowning as he did so.

a mecha?!
Curiosity getting the most of him, Terra walked over to it and gasped.
"Where did this come from?"
no subject
"I saw it in the first memory I ever remembered." A long time ago now, but he remembers so little of his past that each one is seared into his mind, scraps of his life from before he arrived here.
"I don't know why it is here though, or how it came here. It just appeared overnight."
no subject
"Maybe you wished for it unconsciously?" Or something. "What does it do, do you know?"
no subject
"It's a fighting machine, primarily."
no subject
He just felt like it so he went. Nothing could have prepared for such a magnificent sight. He stops before the mecha and starts laughing.]
NO WAY !!! AND HE SAID THEY DON'T EXIST YET !!!
[All this shouting and laughter can be heard for miles around. ]
It's a bit small but, by the gods, it's a real mecha! Amazing!
[Yes, he's comparing this marvel to the Odaiba monstrosity. Somebody remind him the difference.]
no subject
They don't, not on this world at least, sir. I'm not sure how this one got here.
[It is indeed smaller than the mecha in the anime that Saber watches, but they are mostly unrealistic whereas this one works as a fighting machine.]
no subject
[Iskandar is positively beaming. These are just details. There are times you just shouldn't tempt fate and ask too many questions.]
What it can do? Can it fly? It has weapons, right? Of course, it does. It has to.
[Excuse him as he's going to run around and examine your mecha from every angle possible.]
no subject
[He's not... Actually sure what else you would even use a mecha for if not for fighting.]
no subject
I would love to see it in action.
[Look. It's Iskandar. He's a modern - or actually any for that matter - weapons enthusiast. Of course, he meant fighting. What else?]
