Who: Sora & Axel
When: August 12, late evening
Where: Insert random Japanese neighbor where the prayer stuff happens
What: Prayer #7, some ayakashi butt kicking, testing a wicked fire keyblade, dudes being bros, maybe blowing stuff up who knows
Warnings: TBA
[As planned, Sora was waiting for Axel to be finished his work day so they could get out and do some testing of Axel’s vessel form. The last and only time that he had used Axel was at the beach barbeque a little over a month ago.
He’d been itching for the chance to use the keyblade again and to see what it could really do. That and possibly see what would happen if he tried to summon his actual keyblade while still holding Axel’s keyblade. Would it work like duel wielding? Who knew? Either way, without Goofy around, having a pseudo-valor form would be pretty neato.
Sora was also pretty curious why his firaga was a ton stronger when Axel was in his vessel form too. Either way tonight they would be bringing the heat. (Ha ha ha.)
Sora can be found standing ontop of a fencepost in the nearby neighborhood. He yawns a little bit. Not really tired, but more just bored waiting around. Axel should be along soon though.]

[Sora agrees, flashing an equally excited grin at Axel. With a shout he calls Axel's name and Axel will disappear in a flash and reappear in his keyblade form in Sora's hand.]

[Feeling the weight of the keyblade in his hand, Sora looks up at the racoon. In return it bristles and growls loudly at them. Luckily the dogs scatter so they wouldn't be getting caught in any crossfire.]
Who're you growling at you big ugly dope?!

The anticipation of a good fight blazes up in him as he considers the giant ayakashi. It's kind of animalistic, isn't it? Big and fierce, but it's not one of those obnoxious kinds with the legs all over and too many eyes.]
Hey, see if you can set its tail on fire! That'll distract it, and we can catch it in the flank.

One fried tail, coming right up!
[The racoon as is still growling in warning at them, tail swishing this way and that. He lifts the keyblade and casts firaga with a shout.
As just like the first time when the massive fireball hits the ayakashi it goes off in a giant explosion and the creature reels and screeches in terror as it's caught in the blast. The firaga is so powerful and loud that it takes a clean chunk out of a nearby roof.
It's far from over though and it leaps at Sora with a loud piercing screech.
He dodge rolls out of the way just in time for the thing to crash hard into the pavement, taking a huge chunk out of it. Sora leaps up ontop of a car and then onto another roof of a house to get a vantage point.]
That was a little more oomph than I expected! You really do charge up my fire spells I think, Axel!

[That's totally a valid reason for fireballs to go flying around a quiet neighborhood in the middle of the night, right? Right. Axel focuses back on the raccoon ayakashi, ready for its next move.]
Guess that's my power for you, huh.
Good thing you already know how to use Firagas.

[The raccoon quickly recoils from the hole in the pavement and looks up at them. It then growls loudly, this time the sound coming out like a high pitched piercing siren. Sora winces and sticks a finger in his ear. Guess the raccoon ayakashi really was a noise maker.]
I think it’s about time we shut this guy up!
[Sora then tries what he’s been thinking about. He grips Axel’s keyblade tight and the tries to summon his usual keyblade into his left hand. He grins proudly when the keyblade easily blinks into his grip.]
Alright! Fake valor form here I come!
[Sorry Goofy.
Sora jumps into the air and with a spin and attacks the ayakashi with a swift Brave Beat aerial combo.]

[The raccoon ayakashi shrieks as Sora's two keyblades batter its sickly glowing fur. Axel laughs soundlessly -- okay, so he's not a Keyblade wielder himself; being a Keyblade, though, is nearly as cool. He could get used to this.
At the final blow of the combo, the raccoon recoils backwards, half-falling against the hole blown in the pavement before it shrieks again. This sound sounds like glass bottles pouring from a garbage can: clashing, clinking cacophany before the creature leaps to balance precariously on the damaged roof of the nearby house. It hulks against the dimly lit clouds, as big as a second story all on its own, and the house emits a dangerous creak.]
--Later! Get that thing, quick!

[Sora winces again as the noise blasts through the area. It’s hard for Sora to focus and concentrate for a moment while the loud noises numb his head. What a headache.
He grits his teeth as the raccoon leaps onto the creaking rooftop. He had to take this thing out quick before it did any more damage.
With another jump at it Sora attacks with a second aerial combo. In return the raccoon tries to counter attack and swipes at Sora. With a yelp he brings Axel’s keyblade up and casts another firaga and the blast erupts explosively between them.
They both land hard on the roof and he hears it crack just a little more. Without hesitating he runs forward and attacks with a ground combo and finishes with Sonic Strike. Axel’s keyblade charges up and he slams into the ayakashi.]

A fine vibration runs through Axel's Keyblade form as he almost jolts Sora forward after the thing. It's weak, it's down: one solid blow to it in this condition will be the last.]

He follows through and leaps off the building and attacks the ayakashi one final time with Sonic End. He slashes furiously and with a wailing cry the raccoon explodes in a brilliant swirl of color and flashes.
Rend complete! Queue the victory music.]
Well that was awesome! Hopefully that’ll settle things down around here for good.
[Sora looks at both keyblades and grins proudly. With that he reverts Axel.]

[Axel weaves his fingers together and stretches both arms up over his head, rocking onto his toes briefly. Man, fighting as a weapon always leaves him weirdly tense.]
I should've known you'd know what to do with a Keyblade, huh?
[He gives Sora a friendly grin, letting his hands fall back to his sides.]
Hope it will! There can't be more than one of those things around, right?

Yeah, it's kind of what I've always been doing! It's second nature to me.
[He wishes he could tell Axel that he was gonna learn how to use a keyblade too but alas... shinki problems.]
Let's hope not! This place is pretty messed up too, maybe we should tell someone...

[There's another siren in the distance, sounding like it's headed this way. Axel pauses mid-sentence.]
-- Okay, I think someone heard about it.
[The siren is definitely getting closer now. He clears his throat.]
That's not a noisy ghost out there! C'mon, Sora, let's clear out before the police show.
[They probably won't even notice Sora and Axel hanging around the damaged area, but on the other hand, if they do, it could get awkward real quick.]

[With that Sora turns to Axel and touches his arm to teleport them both away.]
