007 | Clean Up Your Act
Who: Everyone!
What: Spring cleaning
When: All day April 15
Where: All around the Heavens
Summary: The Heavens don't like things being cluttered, so it's time to clean up a little bit.

Main Hall
While the main hall of the Heavens seems spotlessly clean at all times, that's not the case at all. In fact, it's been at least a decade since the last time they actually cleaned everything out properly. There are a lot of hidden closets and back rooms that have layers of dust and dozens of boxes filled with nothing but junk. Who knows, though! You might find something interesting and useful in there along with all the garbage.
Suprises
Unfortunately, some of the older temples on the Far Shore seem to have some interesting surprises tucked away, ranging from cursed artifacts all the way to magical creatures locked up in long-forgotten rooms. You are free to be creative with this as a way to get your characters into trouble while cleaning.
Complimentary Dinner
After all of your hard work, you deserve to have some tasty food and refreshing beverages. So the Heavens have provided that for you, so that you can wind down after a long day. It's not as fancy as the banquets they often put on, but there is a nice array of food and drinks for everyone to enjoy.
Counselling
As usual, there is a white-robed shinki bearing the gold chrysanthemum of Amaterasu sitting at a table in the Main Hall. There is a small sign that denotes her as the counselling shinki. Anyone is welcome to approach her, and she will smile serenely at anyone passing by as well.

Hiyoko | Main Hall/surprises
This hunting goddess just declared open season on dustbunnies! Let's do this!
[She enters a nearby room and the sounds that follow are... interesting. It almost sounds like she's fighting? Or maybe just wrecking the place. Or hitting the walls with her broom for some reason? Do you go inside?]
A- Yeah, sure. Let's see what's in there.
[What's in there is Hiyoko chasing after several dark shapes. They seem to be leaving little sooty footprints where ever they go, so cleaning will bedifficult before they're rounded up. When the door opens, two of them make a break for it.]
Don't let them escape!!
B- Hell no. There is no way I'm following crazy cave girl anywhere.
[After about ten minutes, she comes back out looking a little worse for wear, yet with a triumphant smile. And she's holding a brown cloth bag. That's... wiggling. And then she spots you.]
Hey! Perfect timing! I need to finish up in there so could you take these to the trash?
Hell no...
Not until you tell me why it's moving.
[Axel's just going to be putting his hands safely behind his back so you can't shove that thing in his direction. It looks way too ominous, if you ask him....]
no subject
[Duh.]
no subject
[Important questions! Very important questions that should be asked before Axel's getting his hands anywhere near that wiggling sack.]
no subject
[A thoughtful pause.]
Don't open the bag.
no subject
[He's still avoiding taking this bag. It's a big bag. It's moving kind of a lot. He's pretty sure that "not very likely" is different from "definitely won't."]

[She holds the bag up a little and frowns at it.]
I guess they could be though...
no subject
[There's just a slight tone of sarcasm to go with her discrimination against the not alive.]
no subject
Does dust usually become self aware if you leave it for a long time?

... What are you doing?
Re: A
[She turns and hurls herself toward the door as fast as she can. But she can tell she won't make it.]
Shut the door! Quick! They'll escape!
A
[You don't have to tell Barry twice. Even though he's never met this girl before, and has no idea what she's doing.]
Get back here, you little...!
[Barry books it down the hallway, trying his best to chase after... whatever these are.]
Re: A
Actually they look like something Anghel might come up with. This is her first time experiencing a shinki's death, and it takes her a moment to process it.]
H-hey, wait!
[By the time she snaps out of it, Barry and the dust bunnies are gone. She gives chase as quickly as possible.]
Re: A
I can't wait! I gotta catch this thing!
[And off he goes, rounding a corner and trying his best to stay on its heels.]
Re: A
[There will be plenty of time to talk once these critters are rounded up. The hallway open out into a larger area with a long table in the center. The dust bunny runs under the table. Hiyoko points to one side.]
You take that side and I'll take this one! We'll catch him on the other side.

A!
What a sight! He's not sure if those little runners are actual animals or spirits or something else completely, but at the girl's warning, Omi yanks over some water from a nearby mop bucket and forms a wall of ice blocking the exit several feet up. This new water manipulation ability is still taking some getting used to, but he's starting to get the hang of how to control it.
Your move, dustbuster.]
no subject
They're not getting any sympathy from Hiyoko though. The room is just covered in their sooty footprints. Now that he can get a better look at them, they do appear to be bunnies made of soot.]
Wow, great job! Thanks!
no subject
He flashes the girl a grin.]
You too! You really got them good...
no subject
I couldn't call myself a proper goddess of the hunt if I couldn't handle a few bunnies.

A
In any case, he chooses the probably less intelligent option of opening the door, not without a little caution, though the dark shapes and the yell at almost the second he does both catch him by surprise a bit and he pauses for a moment before reacting appropriately.]
Okay, I don't know how much damage weird soot dust monsters can possibly do to a god temple or whatever this place is supposed to be, but if it's that important to all of you and soot A and soot B aren't having the decency to ask nicely then I guess I can be magnanimous here and help you out in this mad crusade against particle mess or whatever the hell I just walked in on.
[As he rambles, he pushes himself upwards on his tail, ghostly and slightly downy, spreading and curling his wings so they fill up the bulk of the door space and holding his feathered, taloned arms ready in case the soot decides to start something.]
no subject
[So no. They're not dangerous at all. They just bounce around and leave little smudges of dirt behind everywhere they go. And she wants to finish this cleaning job sometime this year.
As she's yelling, she lunges forward and grabs one of them, which wriggles in her hands. A small cloud of dust is rising up around it as it struggles. Hiyoko looks up to tell him to get the other one but stops.]
Wow...
[That is some impressive plumage! Feathers like that would even make Bishikikouji jealous.]
no subject
[With her having grabbed one, he waits for the other one to get a bit closer before pushing himself foward on his tail - the strike is a bit like a snake to look at. He seems to disappear for a moment with the movement, flashing from the door to the dust monster as he catches it in his claws and it flails around, puffing dust out everywhere.]
Got it, cool, as long as none of the others take this hells of obvious opportunity to join in on this escape from Alcatraz party we got going on here we're all good. I think.
[Because the door's kind of wide open right now without him standing in it, though he does stretch his tail out to see if he can whack it shut again before any of the others get any ideas.]
no subject
Still leaving little footprints everywhere though. Crap. She better get back to work. Hiyoko shoves the one she's holding into a small sack and ties it shut.]
Thanks! These things are really annoying. Here.
[She holds out another bag for his.]
It is a shame you had to get your feathers all dirty. That's some beautiful plumage you have there.
