Summary: The Heavens don't like things being cluttered, so it's time to clean up a little bit.







Main Hall

While the main hall of the Heavens seems spotlessly clean at all times, that's not the case at all. In fact, it's been at least a decade since the last time they actually cleaned everything out properly. There are a lot of hidden closets and back rooms that have layers of dust and dozens of boxes filled with nothing but junk. Who knows, though! You might find something interesting and useful in there along with all the garbage.

Suprises

Unfortunately, some of the older temples on the Far Shore seem to have some interesting surprises tucked away, ranging from cursed artifacts all the way to magical creatures locked up in long-forgotten rooms. You are free to be creative with this as a way to get your characters into trouble while cleaning.

Complimentary Dinner

After all of your hard work, you deserve to have some tasty food and refreshing beverages. So the Heavens have provided that for you, so that you can wind down after a long day. It's not as fancy as the banquets they often put on, but there is a nice array of food and drinks for everyone to enjoy.

Counselling

As usual, there is a white-robed shinki bearing the gold chrysanthemum of Amaterasu sitting at a table in the Main Hall. There is a small sign that denotes her as the counselling shinki. Anyone is welcome to approach her, and she will smile serenely at anyone passing by as well.

"Leo, please. I knew an Odin before coming here and it is the strangest thing answering to the name for prayers as it is." So very strange. He really wished he could just use his real name for prayers, too. "There's another shinki already in my service--Niles. Taller than me, white hair, missing an eye."

He nodded, Leo it was. And this Niles... well, that certainly seemed to be an unforgettable description. Saïx was certain he would meet him soon enough since they would be serving the same god.

"I'll keep an eye out for him." Only after he said it, did he realize that may have been in poor taste considering Niles only has one eye. He felt a little bad about that, but hoped that Leo wouldn't notice the unintentionally twisted humor of his statement like he had.

He couldn't help but smirk ever so slightly at that; he knew it was just a saying, but still. Timing.

"I can explain more later, once the higher ups have decided we've done enough cleaning for the month. I'll need to arrange for something to be done about a bedroom for you, anyway. Do you have an preferences?"

[saikusu]

"For my bedroom? A bed. If possible, a window in my room would be nice." He really wasn't sure what else to ask for in a room for himself. That was all he really needed, wasn't it?

"Is there anywhere I can put this coat?" Saïx was ready to get out of the stupidly long coat. It was a nice day out and all that leather was a little much. It was bad enough that he was also wearing the leather pants. "Is there anywhere I can get new clothes from after we're done cleaning?"

Leo takes the coat. "I'll do something with it, if I can find a place that isn't currently covered in dust. And yes. My son, Forrest, might be able to help." Given that he saw Sora in Saix's death, he wasn't going to suggest him.

[saikusu]

"I'd appreciate that." Leo must be older than he looked if he was offering his son's help in outfitting him, as he assumed he was not about to receive that help from a little kid.

"If I'm to serve you, I suppose I should be helping with the cleaning. Where should I start?" The idea of serving, or working under someone of importance seemed perfectly normal to him, even if that someone happened to be a god, which was the only odd part about it to him.

Leo glanced at the boxes lying in a pile by his gate. "Take those somewhere else? They're too heavy for me."

[saikusu]

"Of course. Are they trash?" he asked, as he picked up half the stack of boxes. He could probably physically handle carrying them all, but then it would be rather difficult to see and maneuver around this unfamiliar place.

[brynwieldr]

"They are. Don't ask me where to take them, though, I've been too busy here to go and see what everyone else is doing."

Saix was very obedient and almost...docile. It was strange.

[saikusu]

Saïx was incredibly confused by his current situation. He wasn't certain what he should do, how he should talk to Leo, why he was here in the first place. He knew he was dead, and had learned he was a shinki and had to serve Leo, but he really had no clue what all that entailed. So until he has a better grip on the situation, he intended to just toe the line in his interactions with Leo.

"I'll be back in," he paused. He didn't know how long it would take to find somewhere to throw it out in. "As soon as I'm able." With that, he turned and headed in the direction he'd come from, boxes in hand, to seek out a dumpster.
