007 | Clean Up Your Act
Who: Everyone!
What: Spring cleaning
When: All day April 15
Where: All around the Heavens
Summary: The Heavens don't like things being cluttered, so it's time to clean up a little bit.

Main Hall
While the main hall of the Heavens seems spotlessly clean at all times, that's not the case at all. In fact, it's been at least a decade since the last time they actually cleaned everything out properly. There are a lot of hidden closets and back rooms that have layers of dust and dozens of boxes filled with nothing but junk. Who knows, though! You might find something interesting and useful in there along with all the garbage.
Suprises
Unfortunately, some of the older temples on the Far Shore seem to have some interesting surprises tucked away, ranging from cursed artifacts all the way to magical creatures locked up in long-forgotten rooms. You are free to be creative with this as a way to get your characters into trouble while cleaning.
Complimentary Dinner
After all of your hard work, you deserve to have some tasty food and refreshing beverages. So the Heavens have provided that for you, so that you can wind down after a long day. It's not as fancy as the banquets they often put on, but there is a nice array of food and drinks for everyone to enjoy.
Counselling
As usual, there is a white-robed shinki bearing the gold chrysanthemum of Amaterasu sitting at a table in the Main Hall. There is a small sign that denotes her as the counselling shinki. Anyone is welcome to approach her, and she will smile serenely at anyone passing by as well.

[Whatever wants to kill him seems to be getting angrier and stronger. Roxas has a few more minutes at most before it will tear the door down. So please be quick, Shun.]
no subject
I thought you might have seen it before you slammed the door on it. [His tone is a little frustrated, but his eyes are already roaming around for anything they can use, and they land on the lock that broke from the door. Crouching down, he picks up the two halves and holds them up.]
Never mind. Move over a little.
[Though he's not wanting the other to let go of the door, he's trying to find where the lock had come from, and it's a bit of a relief that the holes for the lock still look intact, if barely. Shifting one of the lock halves to his other hand, Shun touches his fingers to the metal loops, and after a few moments, the wear on them starts to heal and fade.]
Can you keep it from moving the door too far for a few seconds? I don't need long.
no subject
With a grumble Roxas does what he's told.]
I'll try!
[He put is entire weight into the door. Really. Please be quick, this kid doesn't weigh that much at all. If he wasn't concentrating so hard on the task at hand, this guy's ability would be properly admired. Maybe later.]
no subject
After another ten, he steps back, the lock shining like new, and as almost an afterthought, puts his hand up to the aged wood.]
You can let go now. I'll just make sure whatever the hell that thing is doesn't break down the rest of the door now that the lock's fixed.
[With the wood as thick and heavy as it had to be to hold a thing like that in, Shun holds both his hands against it to get things moving quicker, and again, though it takes a little time, the signs of decay and aging start to reverse, and the wood begins healing to something more healthy and strong.]
no subject
Is that your power?
[Why do so many people have so much better abilities than he does? The only thing he's got going for him are his Keyblades and magic other than his "divine power".
Roxas notices that the creature behind the door sounded a lot more muffled.]
We should put a sign on the door.
no subject
I can decay things, or return decayed things to a whole or healthy state. I wasn't expecting to be using it for cleaning, but after dealing with things like that all day I'm not even sure this can be called cleaning.
[More like some kind of extremely dangerous pot luck. It's chance whether you're going to get eaten by a monster or crushed by junk whenever you open a door.
Though Shun would hope that nobody's stupid enough to try to open the door again after all that, he doesn't really believe his own hope there, so he can't really do much but agree.]
If you've got anything to write a sign with, go ahead.
no subject
Maybe they should have split us up. Some for cleaning and others for fighting hidden monsters.
[.... actually he has a better idea. He summons a Keyblade and taps the door with it. There's a soft click before the blade disappears. Seems this is now perma-locked to anyone without a Keyblade.]
Now no one can open it!
no subject
[His tone is bitterly derisive, but it's not aimed at Roxas. He's just completely and utterly dissatisfied with the way things are run here, and he's barely been here more than a week.
The sudden appearance of what looks like a giant key to him makes him tense visibly - however ridiculous, it's clearly some kind of weapon - but as Roxas uses it to seal the door, his expression shifts to something a shade more incredulous.]
What the hell is that, and why didn't you use it in the first place?
no subject
[Not resentful at all. At least in this place Roxas has so much more freedom to do what he wants. In his mind it could be much, much worse. Imagine things like this happening on an almost daily basis because the person you're working for has hired more inept workers than good ones.
He grumbles as he stares at the other guy.]
Wouldn't have stopped that thing from breaking the door down, just make it harder. It would've still gotten out.
no subject
[Because looking at the situation from where he's standing, if someone hadn't happened to come by at this point in the proceedings, things could have gone a lot worse with that monster.]
That doesn't answer the question of what it is, either.
[It's clearly some kind of magical object, but if it's something people have in this place, he feels like he should try to get what information he can about it.]
no subject
They're Keyblades. I use them to fight Heartless and anything else that attacks people.
[He can also point tell you that there's more than one person who can summon them if you're nicer to him.]
no subject
A weapon that seals doors? It's a weird combination, but it obviously works well enough.
[If the fact that the door isn't budging despite the absence of the lock to the naked eye is any indication.]
no subject
[There's probably ones that unseal other things, too. Roxas is thankful he only has those two options.]
Since it's not a shinki, I can't use it to fight ayakashi. I can fight everything else with them. Even ghosts!
no subject
[It's a key. It'd actually make even less sense if it only sealed doors than if it only opened them.]
We're supposed to be in the afterlife, and shinki are supposed to be what happened to lost souls. I can't imagine we have many ghosts to use that thing on.
no subject
I know. I didn't use it on the ghosts I did meet either. They were customers.
no subject
"Customers"? What the hell were you supposed to be providing them?
no subject
Most of the time it's just helping them move on, but there's the ones who liked to curse or haunt workers. But the Witch said we're supposed to treat them like customers.
no subject
That's not the first thing people are going to think when you say customers. And who the hell is "the Witch"?
[Gods, he's more than familiar enough with by this point. Witches, not so much.]
no subject
Most of the customers were monsters and spirits. [Going to try not to sound irritated.] She's who I worked for in the last place I was in.
no subject
You're not there anymore, are you? In a place where it's common, fine, but even here, that's not the kind of thing most people are familiar with. [They fight the monsters here, not serve them.] So what, you didn't come from your own world?
[The way that's worded is making him curious, because he figures if it was that simple he would've just said his world and not the last place.]
no subject
I haven't been to my own world in way over a year.
[His world, or worlds, are weirder. At least the last one had some sort of consistency.]
no subject
Do you even know what's going on back there, or haven't you been able to find out?
[Because if there's one thing that's definitely been on his mind while here, it's what the effect on things back home is. He's hoping something to do with this presumably being a space outside his world's own four dimensions will mean time at least doesn't pass the same way.]
