Summary: The Heavens don't like things being cluttered, so it's time to clean up a little bit.







Main Hall

While the main hall of the Heavens seems spotlessly clean at all times, that's not the case at all. In fact, it's been at least a decade since the last time they actually cleaned everything out properly. There are a lot of hidden closets and back rooms that have layers of dust and dozens of boxes filled with nothing but junk. Who knows, though! You might find something interesting and useful in there along with all the garbage.

Suprises

Unfortunately, some of the older temples on the Far Shore seem to have some interesting surprises tucked away, ranging from cursed artifacts all the way to magical creatures locked up in long-forgotten rooms. You are free to be creative with this as a way to get your characters into trouble while cleaning.

Complimentary Dinner

After all of your hard work, you deserve to have some tasty food and refreshing beverages. So the Heavens have provided that for you, so that you can wind down after a long day. It's not as fancy as the banquets they often put on, but there is a nice array of food and drinks for everyone to enjoy.

Counselling

As usual, there is a white-robed shinki bearing the gold chrysanthemum of Amaterasu sitting at a table in the Main Hall. There is a small sign that denotes her as the counselling shinki. Anyone is welcome to approach her, and she will smile serenely at anyone passing by as well.

Once Roxas is done with his corner he feels disgusting. Being covered in dust does that.]

Everything is itchy. Is that normal?

No. It just feels weird on my skin! [Gross, sticky, itchy, and just how is this room so bad off? He hasn't had much interaction with dust, especially this much.] I don't like dust. They need to clean their own rooms.

Maybe it just doesn't belong to anybody? It's the main hall, so I guess it technically belongs to everyone.

[He shrugs and keeps going at his corner.]

Maybe the gods we took over for before us just didn't care how messy this place was.

Maybe the were the god of messes... or dust?

There's gods for that? [Do they make gods for everything?]

[fullcowl]

There's goddesses of morality. I wouldn't be too surprised.

You think we'll get one of those kinds of gods here?

[fullcowl]

Morality or dust? Because we've already got a morality goddess.

[missingache]

The morality one. What religion are they from? I just know the basic Greek gods.

I'm her uh... reincarnation? According to the heavens anyway.

She's in the Greek pantheon, but she's very minor. There's not a lot of information about her.

Wait. [Same pantheon?] So does that make us family?

[fullcowl]

I guess in a way.

I'm filling in for Aidos.

[missingache]

I'm supposed to be Artemis!

I don't think I've read about Aidos in any of the books I've got.

[fullcowl]

You definitely got a well known goddess.

She was really minor.

Some research called her the daughter of Prometheus, but that's about it. I mean, other than what her domain was.

[missingache]

Prometheus is the guy who brought fire to humans, right? He had kids?

[fullcowl]

Yeah, that's the guy.

I don't know if he had more than Aidos, it's really hard to find information about it.

[missingache]

Might be that no one really worshiped him anymore and the information was lost.

[fullcowl]

Yeah... That's a possibility.

I think he suffered a really brutal punishment for giving humanity fire.

[missingache]

The Greek gods are pretty cruel, aren't they. I'll never be like that.

Humans were pretty bad off, too, when they made the gods mad. Like Sisyphus.

They are... But since we're filling in for them, we don't have to be.

There's no reason I'd make anybody push a boulder up a hill.

[missingache]

Why did people worship them if they were like that? I don't really get that part.

Didn't Athena turn someone into a spider?

That's the story of Arachne, right?

I'm not really sure. Maybe they wanted to be in their good graces so that kind of stuff wouldn't happen to them?

[missingache]

Yeah. Whoever is Athena here might be scared of spiders now if they weren't before.

Or a way to blame bad things happening in their life on someone.
