Summary: The Heavens don't like things being cluttered, so it's time to clean up a little bit.







Main Hall

While the main hall of the Heavens seems spotlessly clean at all times, that's not the case at all. In fact, it's been at least a decade since the last time they actually cleaned everything out properly. There are a lot of hidden closets and back rooms that have layers of dust and dozens of boxes filled with nothing but junk. Who knows, though! You might find something interesting and useful in there along with all the garbage.

Suprises

Unfortunately, some of the older temples on the Far Shore seem to have some interesting surprises tucked away, ranging from cursed artifacts all the way to magical creatures locked up in long-forgotten rooms. You are free to be creative with this as a way to get your characters into trouble while cleaning.

Complimentary Dinner

After all of your hard work, you deserve to have some tasty food and refreshing beverages. So the Heavens have provided that for you, so that you can wind down after a long day. It's not as fancy as the banquets they often put on, but there is a nice array of food and drinks for everyone to enjoy.

Counselling

As usual, there is a white-robed shinki bearing the gold chrysanthemum of Amaterasu sitting at a table in the Main Hall. There is a small sign that denotes her as the counselling shinki. Anyone is welcome to approach her, and she will smile serenely at anyone passing by as well.

Ha ha, don't worry about it! I've got a stomach like a python!

[He tips her a cheerful wink and sneaks another of the mochi. They're really well made! All the treats at the Heaven-catered buffets are really well made.]

[ Aw gee, well it's not like she can say no to him after he winks! ] B...be that as it may, [ Turns so that the tray is out of reach! ] I now change my mind from giving you these, if you can have something healthier! [ Not that she knows exactly how food effects or doesn't effect gods. ] Your stomach will thank you, I'm sure of it.

But...

[Well, if the wink doesn't work, it's time to turn on the full effect of Tsuzuki's sad puppy face. Few women can resist it! Most men can't either!]

... It's really good mochi. C'mon, just one more?

[miraculo]

[ Okay how can she say no to a pouty face like that. ] Oh... okay. Just one. [ She gives him one more. ]

Only because you are a good person. [ Yep, she's determined that right here and now. ]

Maybe you should get to know me first before you say that....

[He laughs uncomfortably. Good person? It's nice of her to think so, anyway, and besides, he's getting mochi out of the deal. He downs it in a couple of bites.]

[miraculo]

[ What a silly suggestion. ] But you're not hurting anyone. And you're being polite. [ Also no bad person can make such a puppy face! ] Those are qualities of a good person!

[sweetdeath]

Ha ha, that's nice of you to say, anyway.

[More uncomfortable laughter! But it's seriously time to change the subject here...]

So, you're new here, right? God or shinki?

[miraculo]

God. [ She nods. ] I'm the god of miracles, brand new to this world, and I'm not exactly sure where to start out.

..There wouldn't happen to be a pamphlet for newcomers to use, would there?

Aren't all gods technically gods of miracles?

[You know, because all gods perform -- okay, maybe not. Tsuzuki still blinks, confused, for a second before her next question percolates and he laughs ruefully.]

... I guess somebody should put a pamphlet together. There's not one, though! It's pretty much just ask around and see what you come up with.

I've been here for a while if you've got any questions!

[miraculo]

[ Ffffffffff no, her abilities aren't redundant! Weh. ] ...Um, that is-- [ But before he can answer, he moves onto offering help. ]

Oh, yes. Of course! That's awfully kind of you. Although, I suppose right now I should get back to cleaning, huh? [ She wouldn't want to bother him with any extra questions! ]

[sweetdeath]

Sure, if you want! Don't work too hard, though, okay?

[He grins cheerfully at her.]

You've got to pace yourself.

[...and not make everybody else, by which Tsuzuki mostly means himself, look bad for kicking back and having a leisurely dinner.]

Oh, don't worry! This is a slow day for me. [ She says with a wave, turning to leave. ] Thank you for your time!

Thanks for the mochi!

[Tsuzuki grins, waves, and turns back towards the buffet.]
