Summary: The Heavens don't like things being cluttered, so it's time to clean up a little bit.







Main Hall

While the main hall of the Heavens seems spotlessly clean at all times, that's not the case at all. In fact, it's been at least a decade since the last time they actually cleaned everything out properly. There are a lot of hidden closets and back rooms that have layers of dust and dozens of boxes filled with nothing but junk. Who knows, though! You might find something interesting and useful in there along with all the garbage.

Suprises

Unfortunately, some of the older temples on the Far Shore seem to have some interesting surprises tucked away, ranging from cursed artifacts all the way to magical creatures locked up in long-forgotten rooms. You are free to be creative with this as a way to get your characters into trouble while cleaning.

Complimentary Dinner

After all of your hard work, you deserve to have some tasty food and refreshing beverages. So the Heavens have provided that for you, so that you can wind down after a long day. It's not as fancy as the banquets they often put on, but there is a nice array of food and drinks for everyone to enjoy.

Counselling

As usual, there is a white-robed shinki bearing the gold chrysanthemum of Amaterasu sitting at a table in the Main Hall. There is a small sign that denotes her as the counselling shinki. Anyone is welcome to approach her, and she will smile serenely at anyone passing by as well.

[You look fine. At least that's what it means when Ludger gives Sora a nod and smile. He puts his own mask on, some gloves, and grabs a bottle of cleaner. His bucket is something attached to his belt, and he's ready to go!

Let's get this room clean!]

[Sora grins and picks up his own mop.]

Wow Ludger, you're really serious about this stuff, aren't you? You're like a cleaning knight!

[He laughs. It's just all that gear and even a tools on his belt.]

[Not a cleaning knight. More like househusband. He laughs softly and decides to clean the inside of the cabinets. Some of this stuff would really need some TLC. Good thing that this is something he really excels at.

It doesn't take him long to leave this cabinet sparkling from bottom to top. Take some notes, Sora.]

[oathkeeper]

Whoa.

[Ludger is really super good at this. Sora is trying his best today but he isn't nearly as good as Ludger. He suddenly feels like he wants to do well in front of Ludger even if he isn't a fan of chores.

Gripping his mop, he dips it in a nearby cleaning bucket and starts to run up and down the main hall, cleaning vigorously with new found determination.]

[Excuse Ludger as he watches the vigorous mopping. Sora was new at this, wasn't he. That's not how you properly mop... No need to mention that. He'll redo it later.

With a rather strange looking duster (Swiffers are great) Ludger attacks the dust and cobwebs on the harder to reach areas.]

[oathkeeper]

[But this is how they do it in anime, Ludger, you run up and down the floors while shouting.

When Sora's finally done doing a half decent, not great job, he comes back up to Ludger.]

So, where'd you get so good at cleaning?

[Ludger blinks before pointing at himself.]

I'm a shinki.

[Meaning he has no idea where he got so good at this.]

[oathkeeper]

[Oh whoops, have an apologetic looking Sora...]

Ohhh. Who's your god then? They must be super happy you're thier shinki!

[Sora sure would be. Having cleaning skills and enjoying it? Sign him up.]

Roxas!

[Wait Naminé said there was two of those here.]

Chang'e.

Whoa! You’re Roxas’ shinki! That means you have to live with Add right, how’s that going for you?

[Sora chuckles. No, he likes Add and they were sort of weird friends or something, but he was curious.]

[...... this is his most unimpressed face in the world.

Add is his least favorite person in that entire household.]

[oathkeeper]

[PFFFFT. He’s not even surprised. Sora even starts laughing.] That face!

Well at least you have Roxas to hang out with. He’s cool.

[soindebt]

[Ludger sighs. His shoulders drops slightly as he thinks about the fact that maaaaaaybe he should be kinder to his fellow shinki. It's difficult. Add's not bad, just annoying. Super annoying.

As for Roxas? Ludger looks a little "Uhm" about that. His god was just always there. Was that hanging out?]

[oathkeeper]

You okay?

[Ludger doesn’t seem like much of a talker. Did Sora say something wrong?]

[soindebt]

He's...... different.

[Not in a bad way. But not in a good way either.

His god is......... Just... different.]

[oathkeeper]

How so? Wanna talk about it? [Sora asks with genuine curiosity. Data-Roxas is just Data-Roxas but he isn't sure what that statement of being different entailed.]

[soindebt]

[He sighs. He'll try and explain.]

Takes his job very seriously.

[oathkeeper]

Yeah, I get that. He tells me to get serious all the time. [Sora tries to do his best Data-Roxas voice.] We have important things to do, Sora. Back-attacks are underhanded, Sora.

[He smiles.] But he's a good guy. Right? He means well, I know.

[soindebt]

[Ludger laughs at that. Sounds just like his god.

With a smile he nods. There's still more to it, but Sora is right. Oh! There is something he wants to share! To show just how nice his god can be.]

He gave me a cat.

[oathkeeper]

Whoa! That's great!

[Sora grins. He has no doubts that Data-Roxas takes good care of his shinki.]

What's it like? Anything like Add's weird lego cube pet thing?

[soindebt]

[Ludger gives Sora an appalled look. As if his precious little May was a cube thing! He shakes his head.]

She's a normal cat.

[If the few strands of cat fur on him are any indication.]

[oathkeeper]

[Sora laughs again. Yep, that face.]

What's her name? What kind of cat is she?

May and...

[Ludger picks a long white cat hair off of his shirt. Long haired white cat!]

[oathkeeper]

[Sora puts his hand over his mouth to stifle a chuckle this time.]

It's nice to know that there is a pretty cat in your temple, makes up for grouchy Add and serious Roxas!

[And super irritated at the ordeal Jakob. Ludger doesn't understand why the butler hates cats.

Then Ludger remembers something and pulls out his wallet. There's a picture of a cat in it who looks rather content.]

They like her, too.
