Summary: The Heavens don't like things being cluttered, so it's time to clean up a little bit.







Main Hall

While the main hall of the Heavens seems spotlessly clean at all times, that's not the case at all. In fact, it's been at least a decade since the last time they actually cleaned everything out properly. There are a lot of hidden closets and back rooms that have layers of dust and dozens of boxes filled with nothing but junk. Who knows, though! You might find something interesting and useful in there along with all the garbage.

Suprises

Unfortunately, some of the older temples on the Far Shore seem to have some interesting surprises tucked away, ranging from cursed artifacts all the way to magical creatures locked up in long-forgotten rooms. You are free to be creative with this as a way to get your characters into trouble while cleaning.

Complimentary Dinner

After all of your hard work, you deserve to have some tasty food and refreshing beverages. So the Heavens have provided that for you, so that you can wind down after a long day. It's not as fancy as the banquets they often put on, but there is a nice array of food and drinks for everyone to enjoy.

Counselling

As usual, there is a white-robed shinki bearing the gold chrysanthemum of Amaterasu sitting at a table in the Main Hall. There is a small sign that denotes her as the counselling shinki. Anyone is welcome to approach her, and she will smile serenely at anyone passing by as well.

[The foxes are talking to him, what did he do to deserve this. He blinks down at the one that speaks up with more than a little surprise, then looks back up. Ahaha. Ha. Foxes. Help him.]

[The foxes grumble a little more, but Kurama shoots them a look that shuts them right up. "Apology accepted," the white-toed fox says, nose in the air like he's doing them both a favor, and then he gets back in line.

Kurama would sigh, but right now he has an image to maintain.]

I was showing them the way out of the Far Shore. I'm not sure how much of it you've seen yet, but given the circumstances I found them in, I suspect they'll do better where most of the people are still alive.

[Yeah, yeah, whatever fox... How snooty, for a fox.]

Whatever for? [He's not up on his fox spirit lore, as established. Search him!] They get stuck in a back room somewhere 'round here?

More that it appears they were deliberately locked in for an unacceptably long time. At least if I get them back to the Near Shore, they should have a better chance of getting out of such situations on their own.

[He doesn't sound particularly angry about it, but if someone were to show up right now looking for whoever let all the foxes out of their room, they might find themselves with a rose through the eye.]

Have you ever heard someone described as sharp enough to cut themself? They get into--

["Boss! Help!" The call comes from somewhere away from the line; Kurama turns to find the source, and that sure is a fox stuck on top of a decorative pillar.]

More than their share of trouble. Excuse me a moment. [Kurama teleports up, scoops the fox into his arms like a child, and then hops down like the distance is two feet instead of twelve. Yay, god powers!]

Ya don't say. Might've been intended to be for their own good, if that's the case.
