Summary: The Heavens don't like things being cluttered, so it's time to clean up a little bit.







Main Hall

While the main hall of the Heavens seems spotlessly clean at all times, that's not the case at all. In fact, it's been at least a decade since the last time they actually cleaned everything out properly. There are a lot of hidden closets and back rooms that have layers of dust and dozens of boxes filled with nothing but junk. Who knows, though! You might find something interesting and useful in there along with all the garbage.

Suprises

Unfortunately, some of the older temples on the Far Shore seem to have some interesting surprises tucked away, ranging from cursed artifacts all the way to magical creatures locked up in long-forgotten rooms. You are free to be creative with this as a way to get your characters into trouble while cleaning.

Complimentary Dinner

After all of your hard work, you deserve to have some tasty food and refreshing beverages. So the Heavens have provided that for you, so that you can wind down after a long day. It's not as fancy as the banquets they often put on, but there is a nice array of food and drinks for everyone to enjoy.

Counselling

As usual, there is a white-robed shinki bearing the gold chrysanthemum of Amaterasu sitting at a table in the Main Hall. There is a small sign that denotes her as the counselling shinki. Anyone is welcome to approach her, and she will smile serenely at anyone passing by as well.

[Busy with his sTUPID PIANO... He takes the card easily enough, raising an eyebrow as he looks at it.

This is- this sure is a business card. Huh!]

Ya had these made? Is that standard procedure 'round here? The last fella just took my own phone from me to put his information in himself.

[Should he have cards made or should he (continue to) be pushy, the big question.]

Yeah, I figured it made me look a little more serious. [Tsuzuki's grin is a little sheepish.]

Besides, I was giving my number out a lot! Everybody's got questions when they first show up, and so I figured I'd try to help with whatever I already know.

[And so: business cards!]

I don't know if any of the older gods have cards.

[Business cards, though... How anachronistic to all this godhood stuff. Maybe? He's never been a god before.]

Ya might start a trend. I'll keep ya mind when I need a lil help with somethin'. Or a drink!

[Gods need to keep up with the times too! Hey, he's even been texting his priest. Tsuzuki grins cheerfully at Hazel and takes one last uneasy look at his floating piano.]

I might be better at pointing out bars than helping, but hey, whatever I can do, just let me know.

[Sure, he probably got here some traumatic way, but that's no reason not to welcome him, right?]

Well, the piano's a new one! And we haven't had to spring clean before.

[He glances sidelong at Hazel.]

If you mean new people showing up and getting assigned to be gods, though, yeah. About every week and a half.

Meant the piano, actually. But that's good to know, I s'pose. I'll keep a lil notebook with a calendar.

[He'll look out for flying instruments every week and a half, maybe? That's something.]

That might not be a bad idea. At least then you'll know when to duck.

[He laughs, a little nervously. Sure, some of the things that happen when newcomers show up aren't a big deal! Stuff like this? This looks more like a way to keep them occupied while they all settle in than anything else.

But then there's other things, sometimes, too.]

[Well... he'll give it a week, then. Why not do it that way!]

Sure. Well, don't let me keep ya. Sounds like you're a busy young man, after all.

Hey, thanks, but ... aren't you younger than me?

[Younger than he looks, even, which is the age he usually counts himself as being (unless, you know, something really calls for "I'm a hundred years old! I know what I'm doing!")

Okay, maybe Hazel's older than he looks, too, but even so, Tsuzuki'll eat his tie if the guy's more than thirty.]

[Er— well he says that to all the boys, honestly, but-]

I'm twenty. Does it matter?

Uh, I guess not, but "young man" is kind of weird to hear from somebody that much younger than me!

[He laughs easily.]
