Summary: The Heavens don't like things being cluttered, so it's time to clean up a little bit.







Main Hall

While the main hall of the Heavens seems spotlessly clean at all times, that's not the case at all. In fact, it's been at least a decade since the last time they actually cleaned everything out properly. There are a lot of hidden closets and back rooms that have layers of dust and dozens of boxes filled with nothing but junk. Who knows, though! You might find something interesting and useful in there along with all the garbage.

Suprises

Unfortunately, some of the older temples on the Far Shore seem to have some interesting surprises tucked away, ranging from cursed artifacts all the way to magical creatures locked up in long-forgotten rooms. You are free to be creative with this as a way to get your characters into trouble while cleaning.

Complimentary Dinner

After all of your hard work, you deserve to have some tasty food and refreshing beverages. So the Heavens have provided that for you, so that you can wind down after a long day. It's not as fancy as the banquets they often put on, but there is a nice array of food and drinks for everyone to enjoy.

Counselling

As usual, there is a white-robed shinki bearing the gold chrysanthemum of Amaterasu sitting at a table in the Main Hall. There is a small sign that denotes her as the counselling shinki. Anyone is welcome to approach her, and she will smile serenely at anyone passing by as well.

[It's something Slaine thinks he'll have to keep in mind. Maybe he'll do better at getting noticed if he keeps Lily with him, when he's visiting the near shore. He doesn't have to wait long before Tsuzuki's back, and the cats immediately swarm the man when he appears with fish, clamoring for the food]

...I think you've got some fans now.

[The way to one-tailed cats' hearts is through their stomachs, and, Tsuzuki thinks as he sets the plates down with a beaming grin, it sure looks like nekomata feel the same way.]

I guess so!

Hey, kitty kitty.

[He scratches between the ears of one of the cats as it dives for a plate, and grins up at Slaine.]

... If you're looking for a home for them, they can stay at my place!

[There's a lot of room now, anyway. It's just him and Battler.]

[The cats only seem too delighted to descend upon those plates of fish with eager little cheers. There's some bumping and grumbling among them, but it looks like Tsuzuki's effectively distracted them.

He looks from the cats to Tsuzuki when he makes that offer, not having to consider it for very long]

You know... I bet they'd like that, and you understand them better than I do.

[Not to mention, they seem rather taken with the man already]

I hope Battler's not allergic....

[Tsuzuki blinks, considering it, and then grins cheerfully at Slaine.]

Anyway, if they want to, they can! We've got kind of a lot of room around the place now.

[Slaine's inquiry is practically drowned out by a chorus of enthusiastic felines. They've inhaled the fish and have gone right back to crowding around Tsuzuki.

It seems to Slaine that the man really does have a way with two-tailed cats]

...I'd say they might be interested.

[sweetdeath]

Yeah, my shinki. I should introduce you guys!

[Tsuzuki's attention is drawn back to the insistent yowling and questions of the cats, and he laughs, scratching a few of their heads.]

-- I guess they are. Sorry, everybody, that's all the fish I've got! I can pick you up some cat food on the Near Shore for dinner.

If there's a good time for you both, I'll come by to meet him.

[Besides, for the short time that he was there, he did get used to Tsuzuki's temple. It'd be nice to visit, though he'd never wish to impose.

He glances down at the cats, watching them yammer away]

I think you'll never lack for conversation now.

[sweetdeath]

I'll check with him and see. Want me to just give you a call when it's a good time?

[He smiles at Slaine before glancing down at the cats again.]

Yeah, it's gonna be a lot livelier!

[And it'll be great. His smile brightens, and he straightens up, clapping his hands to get the cats' attention.] Okay, everybody! Follow me! I'll show you where my temple is.

[It's good to see Tsuzuki in better spirits, and Slaine hopes the company really will do him some good. The cats do seem pretty eager to follow him on home, so it looks like a good fit]

If it wouldn't be too much trouble, I'll keep my phone handy.

[He doubts the man would consider it trouble, yet he feels inclined to phrase things in this manner all the same]

I'll try and come up with a housewarming gift for your new friends, as well.

[Now that gets him a chorus of cheers]

[He gives Slaine a friendly smile, and waves at the cats.]

[He starts walking, slowly, trying not to trip on any of the cats swirling around his feet.]
