Summary: The Heavens don't like things being cluttered, so it's time to clean up a little bit.







Main Hall

While the main hall of the Heavens seems spotlessly clean at all times, that's not the case at all. In fact, it's been at least a decade since the last time they actually cleaned everything out properly. There are a lot of hidden closets and back rooms that have layers of dust and dozens of boxes filled with nothing but junk. Who knows, though! You might find something interesting and useful in there along with all the garbage.

Suprises

Unfortunately, some of the older temples on the Far Shore seem to have some interesting surprises tucked away, ranging from cursed artifacts all the way to magical creatures locked up in long-forgotten rooms. You are free to be creative with this as a way to get your characters into trouble while cleaning.

Complimentary Dinner

After all of your hard work, you deserve to have some tasty food and refreshing beverages. So the Heavens have provided that for you, so that you can wind down after a long day. It's not as fancy as the banquets they often put on, but there is a nice array of food and drinks for everyone to enjoy.

Counselling

As usual, there is a white-robed shinki bearing the gold chrysanthemum of Amaterasu sitting at a table in the Main Hall. There is a small sign that denotes her as the counselling shinki. Anyone is welcome to approach her, and she will smile serenely at anyone passing by as well.

[Sora shakes his head, giving Forrest a gentle smile. He didn't want to scare Forrest with stories of all that hurt.]

I don't think it really matters too much now that he can't remember anything. What happened, happened and I can't change that. I just wanted to let you know.

[He didn't want to dwell on the strange situation. It was hard enough to deal with alone. No reason to drag Forrest into it all.]

Oh, yes! Lakshmi's power makes it rather easy. I'm making plenty of headway.

[He grins,] Yeah? That's great! What's your power?

[Forrest leads Sora into the next room over. It's absolutely covered in dust. But with a quick wave of his hand, it's absolutely spotless.]

Useful, isn't it?

[Have a very open mouthed gaping Sora.]

What?! That’s not fair at all Forrest! You just magically clean stuff with a poof?!

[Jeaaaalllousss.]

[Forrest can't help but laugh a little, looking quite proud of himself.]

It's come in handy all day today, but I'm sure your power is useful too. Mine doesn't help much when fighting ayakashi, for example.

[Sora walks up to a window sill and swipes a finger across it. Squeaky clean.]

I dunno Forrest, I think you win everything.

[He laughs,] My power is unlocking stuff. I can unlock doors or locks or passwords. Oh and I can dispel magic barriers or spells too. Hasn’t come in handy for ayakashi yet, but I can get into those temples that don’t let boys in.

It certainly makes cleaning the temple much easier, at any rate. But your power sounds just as useful.

Thanks! It's helped me out a few times. I wonder what Leo's power is? I don't think I've actually asked him that yet.

Odin is supposed to be a god of magic and knowledge, so I think it will probably have something to do with that.

[Sora stretches and yawns a moment later.] We should probably get back to work. I'll catch you later, Forrest?

[Meaning...Sora should get back to work, seeing as Forrest has it so easy!]

[Forrest smiles, giving a small wave.]
