Summary: The Heavens don't like things being cluttered, so it's time to clean up a little bit.







Main Hall

While the main hall of the Heavens seems spotlessly clean at all times, that's not the case at all. In fact, it's been at least a decade since the last time they actually cleaned everything out properly. There are a lot of hidden closets and back rooms that have layers of dust and dozens of boxes filled with nothing but junk. Who knows, though! You might find something interesting and useful in there along with all the garbage.

Suprises

Unfortunately, some of the older temples on the Far Shore seem to have some interesting surprises tucked away, ranging from cursed artifacts all the way to magical creatures locked up in long-forgotten rooms. You are free to be creative with this as a way to get your characters into trouble while cleaning.

Complimentary Dinner

After all of your hard work, you deserve to have some tasty food and refreshing beverages. So the Heavens have provided that for you, so that you can wind down after a long day. It's not as fancy as the banquets they often put on, but there is a nice array of food and drinks for everyone to enjoy.

Counselling

As usual, there is a white-robed shinki bearing the gold chrysanthemum of Amaterasu sitting at a table in the Main Hall. There is a small sign that denotes her as the counselling shinki. Anyone is welcome to approach her, and she will smile serenely at anyone passing by as well.

Oh-- oh, no, um, I think I'm just a little overwhelmed by... everything.

[ Also, she feels bad for pretty much drawing attention to his missing memories... ]

[Meanwhile, he's pretty oblivious to it all, or at least that the reason is cause of him. Though he really doubts that she's being overwhelmed by all this cleaning.

[ He's so caring... she's glad that hasn't changed, even with his memories all wonky. ]

Well... it's just... I know your memories are a little... off.

[He blinks a few times. There's no disrespect, but he nearly laughs. She's worried about him? Really?

...Why? He should be the least of her worries, right?]

You're really worried about me?

[chainbroke]

[ Oh, shoot. Recover, recover. She's bad at this, Riku-- ]

W-well, if we're to be working together...

[ ... nailed it? ]

[Honestly, he might not be all that weirded out, Namine. He's mostly deduced that Sora knows him already.

So have a slightly lengthy stare for a few moments. No amount of recovery is going to help her now.

A sigh as he shoves his hands in his pockets, gesturing with his head that maybe they should head to the food table before all the good stuff is gone.]

I know it's weird, but I'll be okay. You don't need to worry, alright?

[chainbroke]

[ Oh, she made things awkward. This is... this is fine. Nothing to be broken up about. ]

I-- alright. [ She pauses. ] ... Would you... like to get some food, finally?

[darkbreak]

[One day he might realize how awkward this is or how much it hurts people like her and Sora. One day.

But for now, he may just gently guide her to the table, a little worried about her but otherwise not bothered.]

...You should. You've been working awfully hard today.

[chainbroke]

[ Meanwhile, she's feeling slightly less uneasy. Naminé follows him, getting the last of that pesky dust out of her hair. ]

Oh--everyone's been working so hard, too. It's not just me... I hope they're staying fed and hydrated.

[darkbreak]

I'm sure some of these guys are fine. Or are stuffing their faces with food already. [People like Sora, for example. He wouldn't be surprised if he was hitting up the food table multiple times.

And there's other gods like that too.]

So long as everyone's okay. Some of the stuff in here is dangerous.
