Summary: The Heavens don't like things being cluttered, so it's time to clean up a little bit.







Main Hall

While the main hall of the Heavens seems spotlessly clean at all times, that's not the case at all. In fact, it's been at least a decade since the last time they actually cleaned everything out properly. There are a lot of hidden closets and back rooms that have layers of dust and dozens of boxes filled with nothing but junk. Who knows, though! You might find something interesting and useful in there along with all the garbage.

Suprises

Unfortunately, some of the older temples on the Far Shore seem to have some interesting surprises tucked away, ranging from cursed artifacts all the way to magical creatures locked up in long-forgotten rooms. You are free to be creative with this as a way to get your characters into trouble while cleaning.

Complimentary Dinner

After all of your hard work, you deserve to have some tasty food and refreshing beverages. So the Heavens have provided that for you, so that you can wind down after a long day. It's not as fancy as the banquets they often put on, but there is a nice array of food and drinks for everyone to enjoy.

Counselling

As usual, there is a white-robed shinki bearing the gold chrysanthemum of Amaterasu sitting at a table in the Main Hall. There is a small sign that denotes her as the counselling shinki. Anyone is welcome to approach her, and she will smile serenely at anyone passing by as well.

[Maybe someday soon Sora will show her that he can actually fly thanks to his days with Peter Pan.

But right now he's surprised that the glitter starts glowing.]

Hey that's pretty neat!

[He grins,] What's your name, by the way? I'm Sora!

Yeah! We can make everything all glowy!

[She's already trying to think of a way to sneak some of this pink sparkly stuff out with her. Surely they won't miss a little of it. And there are so many things that could be improved by glowing.]

I'm Elise! I just got here today and it's already been a lot of fun.

[oathkeeper]

It's nice to meet you Elise. If you ever have questions you can ask me, okay?

[He grins next, and slaps a fist to his palm.]

We should go throw glitter in a bunch of rooms! Really make this place sparkle! What do you say?

Really? Thanks!

[Ah~! Sora's so nice. And she's especially impressed by his next suggestion.]

Oh, wow! That is the best idea ever!

[Elise NO. Everyone is working hard to clean this place and what you are about to do is the opposite of cleaning. Clearly this is a great idea and she can't wait to get started.]

[Sora knows he should be a responsible god right now and do the responsible thing but... Glitter spam.]

Alright, let’s go!

[He grabs a couple more jars of it and heads out to the next room, gesturing for her to follow. Once there Sora cracks open the jar and lets it fly with a laugh.]

[Obviously having glowing pink glitter everywhere will brighten everyone's day. All their fellow gods and shinki will thank them later. Elise follows him with a delighted giggle, tossing glitter onto walls, furniture, floors, and anything else in her way.]

Woohoo~! This is so fun!

[So much better than cleaning.]

[As the clouds of glitter puff into the air Sora laughs and smiles too. It’s nice to take a break and do something fun for a change. All work and no play makes a god dull.]

I wonder what these jars of glitter were doing sitting around, anyway?

[Not that he’s really concerned for an actual explanation though. Glitter bombs are the best.]

[Good question. She sprinkles more glitter on a chair and considers several possibilities before turning to Sora excitedly.]

Oh! I know! Maybe they were gonna have a glitter party!

[oathkeeper]

That sounds cool!

[Sora gives her inspired determined expression.]

You know, maybe at the next party we should pack some of these and go to town. It'll be great!

[The heavens has tons of parties, one was bound to pop up again soon.]

Right! That way we can turn every party into a glitter party!

[Surely everyone will thank them for their noble efforts.]

You're really smart.

[SORA GOT CALLED SMART, he's grinning like a total goof. It's going straight to his head.]

Haha, I like you Elise, you're awesome. You're a new shinki right? Have you met your god yet?

Aww, thanks! I think you're pretty great too.

[Her enthusiasm falls just a bit when he asks about her god though.]

Not yet. I was gonna go look for his temple when I was done cleaning. I'm... a little nervous about it.

[oathkeeper]

Nervous? Don't worry I'm sure he'll take great care of you.

[He's yet to really meet any gods that didn't. Some had some strange views about shinki, but for the most part they all seemed pretty nice.]

Just make sure you tell him if anything bothers you, and you'll be just fine.

Well.... I'm more worried he won't like me. Shinki are supposed to be weapons, right? So the gods can fight monsters.

[She gestures vaguely at herself.]

What if he was hoping for someone bigger or stronger?

[Sora shakes his head.] Every shinki is useful and important not matter what vessel form they are. If they're a pen or a sword, it doesn't matter.

[He gives her a reassured smile.] And every god should know that! I bet your vessel form is amazing! An awesome girl like you is bound to have a really awesome form!
