Summary: The Heavens don't like things being cluttered, so it's time to clean up a little bit.







Main Hall

While the main hall of the Heavens seems spotlessly clean at all times, that's not the case at all. In fact, it's been at least a decade since the last time they actually cleaned everything out properly. There are a lot of hidden closets and back rooms that have layers of dust and dozens of boxes filled with nothing but junk. Who knows, though! You might find something interesting and useful in there along with all the garbage.

Suprises

Unfortunately, some of the older temples on the Far Shore seem to have some interesting surprises tucked away, ranging from cursed artifacts all the way to magical creatures locked up in long-forgotten rooms. You are free to be creative with this as a way to get your characters into trouble while cleaning.

Complimentary Dinner

After all of your hard work, you deserve to have some tasty food and refreshing beverages. So the Heavens have provided that for you, so that you can wind down after a long day. It's not as fancy as the banquets they often put on, but there is a nice array of food and drinks for everyone to enjoy.

Counselling

As usual, there is a white-robed shinki bearing the gold chrysanthemum of Amaterasu sitting at a table in the Main Hall. There is a small sign that denotes her as the counselling shinki. Anyone is welcome to approach her, and she will smile serenely at anyone passing by as well.

It doesn't bother me. [It bothered him. Joshua gave him the strangest, most uncomfortable vibes. But there's nothing to be done about that is there?]

Well it bothers me.

[Sora crosses his arms. There is one thing that Sora gets upset about easily and it's when his friends are being mistreated. He's quite protective.

He plans to say something to Joshua the next time he sees him and remind him of friendships, shinki bonds and the like. Is he like this with Neku too? Sora sighs.]

You're not an object, you're his shinki and his partner. Don't think you're anything less than that.

Yes, but you're also friends and partners. First- before you're a weapon! You are a soul and that means a whole lot more than just a object or something to be used!

I don't need to be friends with anyone. I don't even know him.

Huh? Of course your soul should be here, if not here, where?

[Sora doesn't get that! If not by a god's side, then where...? Nageki's next comment makes him sigh as well.]

You do too need friends. Joshua is a good friend too, I'm thinking he's acting mean because of something else. I dunno what though. I've known Joshua for a long time. Maybe you guys just need to get used to each other.

Do you think all souls become shinki? There are Ayakashi, and I presume that there are some that just stop existing. This seems unnatural. [Let the poor soul rest. He's been haunting shit for years.]

It doesn't matter to me. When he needs me, I'll have to come no matter what. It's peaceful, at least.

Well you became a shinki. So your place is next to a god as a partner. This is where you should be.

[The way Nageki talks sometimes makes Sora wonder just what makes him think these things. He thinks back to when Ventus' left again. He wishes Nageki could have been reassigned to him instead. At least then he wouldn't see Nageki making such strange correlations maybe, if he had a god that was his friend.]

Are you happy like that? Just being called when needed?

I never asked to be a shinki. But I don't mind it. I don't need to be happy.

[He can't ever remember being happy.]

... But things could be worse.

[Well he has a point that things could be worse. He knows Joshua would take care of Nageki is in his own way...But still.]

Sure you need to be happy! Like when you read books, that makes you happy, right?

Well, can you think of other stuff that makes you happy?

I don't remember anything, whether it made me happy or not.

I don't mean from before, I mean now. Anything else you do or want to try? You know, like swimming or bikes or sword fights?

I'm fine just being left alone. [He's a solitary creature.]

[oathkeeper]

I don't think anyone actually likes to be alone. [Sora laughs, knowing this was going to go in circles again.]

You don't seem like you're the kind of person to be alone long enough to even try enjoying it.

It's relaxing.

I guess that's another way we're different! I don't find being alone relaxing at all. I get really antsy.

[Which was way most of the time when his shinki wasn't home he'd be over at a friend's temple or going to see someone else.]

I've been alone before, but I don't like it much! I'll sleep over at a friend's temple or hang out with friends. It's a lot more fun!
