A. Various Temples (including yours!)
- [It was always so freeing to soar around using his right leg like this. He kicks off from the ground, takes off, and it's like he's flying. Who wouldn't love a power like this? No matter how conflicting the meaning behind having it is, or the feelings that come with it— he loves this power.
It's also very convenient for travel. It hasn't been too long since he's arrived in the far shore, but he's already feeling a bit lonely. As much as he may want to call himself a loner, he longs for company and interactions, and lingering in the crowds of the near shore is often more depressing than not. How can he have fun if he's barely noticed? So, today, he's taken to visiting every temple he can.
It starts with him falling from the sky right into the yard. He won't crash into anyone, thankfully, but anyone outside will probably get a gust of wind from how fast he falls. He stands, straightens himself and waves, if there's a person to greet. If not? He'll walk right on up to the temple door and knock.]
Hellooo! [It's not so weird if they're all in the same position, right?]
B. Thinking on rooftops ig
- [What Jae-Ha is doing is so odd that even some mortals have begun to notice. Perched on an under construction building that's very tall, he dangles his legs off the side of an unfinished wall and kicks them a bit. He's lounging comfortably, despite the occasional points up at him, and doesn't seem to notice that he's causing the start of a commotion.
There are rooftops that can be accessed nearby, and he can hear shouting from the ground if anyone were to do it, but for now he's lost in his thoughts staring at the clouds that pass by. This is a fine casual activity.]
C. Wildcard
- [And of course, feel free to see him around in the middle of all of this, or at night time he does like to drink! So either in a bar or with some alcohol in quiet spots like next to some docks, on a hill, maybe on another rooftop. The usual.]

[but then]
It's not UNO, is it?
[He has interesting memories of UNO. Don't ask. This guy probably doesn't even know what UNO is.]

Still, that was quite an offer. It touches something in Gintoki, the part of him that likes to help other people. Still, there was no way of knowing what was in that storeroom. Could they really do that? He was definitely nervous.
But that wouldn't do. He was the god here, right? He'll stand up and leave the room and then he'll come back with an armful of sake jars and bottles, sitting down and dropping them all in a pile on the tatami floor.]
Let's. . . let's do this.
[He looks so serious. Was it serious? How big of a deal was this. . .]
no subject
[That's not how anything works, but he still jokes like this. He points out one of the bottles at random.]
I'll try this one!
no subject
[He'll pick one himself and, with what he considers an awful lot of bravery, opens it up and pours a cup. There's only the slightest hesitation as he brings it to his lips, a slight pause, and then he downs it. What the hell. He was a god, right? He'll continue to do this, and by now he's got a pretty nice buzz going on from the alcohol. It'll take more than that to have him really drunk, though.]
Oi. Are you cursed yet?
no subject
Not at all. It's your turn. [He sips at his cup.]
no subject
Told you, nothing was wrong with the sake at all.
. . . say, you didn't just offer to stay for a bunch of free sake, did ya?
no subject
You don't think I've stayed for your well being alone? I'm a very honest man, you know. Let me try another bottle.
no subject
[He'll take one last bottle, opening it between them and pouring them both a cup.]
Let's both have some of this one, then. Last one for tonight.
no subject
[Hmm, that means it's his victory, he calls it his victory! But he'll hold up his own filled cup to touch with Gintoki's.]
Cheers.
no subject
[that sounded way more concerned than he wanted to come across. Still, he'll tap cups, then down the sake quickly. It felt so good going down; it would be pretty hard to stop after all.]
That's really-- hnnck -- haa-aah. . .you've been here for-- [cough, cough. . . something definitely seems to be wrong as Gintoki's voice shakes a little; he'll put his hand over his mouth and cough some more. He'll stop trying to talk, instead looking at Jae-ha with a really worried expression that slowly turns to more afraid as he puts a hand to his chest, rubbing carefully with a wince.]
Nnnh--that one's pretty. . . it's pretty strong. I don't think it's. . . it's not cursed though. . . right. . .
[and with that his whole body will relax. It's a good thing there were pillows on the floor, as Gintoki's gonna just fall back to the floor with a thud, completely limp and completely out.]
no subject
Hey—! [Don't die, he didn't want this type of karma!!] Are you alright?
no subject
I think . . . that's one bottle too many . . . probably. . . maybe one more though. . .
no subject
You're not having any more. [He'll confiscate it before he allows that.] I've outlasted you, it seems. I should at least claim a reward in return.
no subject
[No complaint at all over that. He's almost there, but then he'll lean back on one of the floor cushions, resting on an elbow.]
no subject
...Come again?
no subject
Okay. Whatever you want.
no subject
...]
If it's my own request, then you should praise me, as well.
no subject
You have . . . you have really straight hair. It's really straight. . . it's nice to drink with someone who isn't boring, too.
[this is a major, major compliment jae-ha! Why would he even say that. He just wanted to.]
no subject
Or at least, he will think so for another joking command or two before it starts worrying him in terms of freedom.]
That's the best you can do? There must be something more, from the bottom of your heart! Pat your head to find it!
no subject
More huh? Well, of course there's more to say, like, about how you would help someone without even being asked. You didn't have to try all that sake with me, but you did. You must be a really useful shinki. You must've been a good person.
[Pat. . . patpat. . . yawn. . .sigh. . .]
no subject
Okay, okay, stop. [He reaches to take this filled cup and whatever was left in that bottle, standing to find somewhere to dump it all down.]
As amusing as it is to listen to your heartfelt words, they're not really heartfelt if I'm demanding them without your control. Such a shame... I had so many ideas, and now I have a conscience...??
no subject
[He has no idea, clearly. He'll stand up with a stretch, looking around for his strawberry milk. He still had some in the carton, so he'll find it and drink straight from the carton. Then he'll fish a chocolate bar out of his pocket.]
What are you talking about, haa?
no subject
[Spare him this... He's also had too much sake, even if it's not showing in any noticeable way. He'll just watch as he pours this down.]
no subject
He'll furrow his brow, thinking hard about how he's supposedly following the other's every command. It's not working; his head hurts. Still he's not gonna say anything else as he's working pretty hard on being aware until-]
. . . I'm tired.
