[Open] show me someone whose got no baggage
Who: Izuku Midoriya, Tsubomi Kido, and you!
What: Prayer 17
When: April 21th
Where: Aidos' temple
Warnings: None
[After Seiten Taisei, Izuku is tired, and somewhat injured. That's nothing new to him- interestingly he seems to be healing a bit faster than he would at home. As a god it's his duty to help anybody who leaves a prayer for him.
Somebody who wants to help somebody else? There's no way he would leave something like that alone. This is easy enough, make some hot meals for the homeless.
Which is why his kitchen is currently fully stocked with cooking ingredients.
As always his apartment is open and welcome for visitors that might want to stop by, or who might be hungry.]

And Tsubomi Kido knows how to cook.
Rice is the easiest base to start with and they're going to need a lot of it. And so Kido is getting ready, rinsing it off at the sink. Her hair is tied back and her sleeves are rolled up, and for someone who hates showing skin that's a pretty big deal. She's even got an apron on. She is going to go at this 110%.]
... If you're hurting, don't push yourself, okay?
[She's also going at worrying 110%.]
no subject
It's just cooking. I can manage that.
no subject
You say that about a lot of things. [There's a very brief moment where Kido just looks. Very done with him, but it fades almost instantly.]
I'm starting to wonder if we even have enough containers to bring all of this out.
no subject
He smiles a bit, as he keeps working.] You're right about that.
Um... We could run out at this rate, huh? If we don't I'll just go to the store and pick up some more plastic ones.
no subject
I guess this is why it's a prayer you have to answer. This would be a lot for anyone to do. It's not bad, though. And since there's two of us right now, it's going to be a lot easier.
no subject
They wanted to help people they couldn't. It's the kind of thing a morality deity should pick up, right? And we have plenty of time to help with a request like that.
no subject
But there's nothing to fight and it's a good break. And it'll keep you away from anything dangerous for an afternoon.
[SHE GIVES HIM A LOOK. SORRY DEKU SHE HASN'T QUITE FORGIVEN YOU.]
no subject
[He slumps a little, but she's absolutely right. He broke his arms there- and even with Add's rewind spell he's not so sure his arms can take anything like that anytime soon.]
I can't just ignore something that dangerous- not if I have a chance to do something about it.
no subject
Like his screwing himself up is even less thrilling because she's places no value on herself, but. Not important.]
Yeah, but... sometimes you can't. Not like that, anyway. You could've gotten killed. [SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN AN IPOD FOREVER.]
no subject
You're right. I can't run in there so recklessly.
no subject
[She moves away to set up the rice cooker it's gonna be like four batches oh jesus.]
no subject
Yeah, I will. It's not fair to you otherwise.
no subject
So what, exactly, are we making, anyway?

Hajime lightly raps her knuckles on the open apartment door.]
Dekuku~! Kido-chan~! Hellloooo! Something smells super tasty!
[She greets loudly from the door way. She figures its fine that she enters but she still wants to be somewhat polite. It wasn't just the food that made her stop by though. After that big fight, she did want to check up on them both. Her backpack is stuffed full.]
Hajime > Deku > Kido?
And there's only one person who calls him that.]
Hajime! [Izuku's a bit battered, but he's seen much, much worse days. So even if his arms are bandaged up he's not particularly bothered by it.]
We're cooking for a prayer.
no subject
It's Hajime. Kido's face immediately turns red, only because being in the same room as Hajime reminds her that she's super easily embarrassed. Also the fact she's decidedly not ready for people with the way she's dressed. She almost drops the knife she's so startled tbch and shoots Deku a "for the love of god save me" look.
She doesn't even say hi. She is so dumb.]
no subject
That explains it! Whoever sent you two that prayer made the right choice! Do you need any help?
no subject
[Kido, Kido please. Hajime is absolutely no threat. Just make a friend- if Izuku can talk to her, you can talk to her.]
no subject
Make her an iPod and hook her up to speakers or something save her from this.]
A new batch of rice will be done in a minute or two. [Okay look busy that is plan B since Deku won't help. Maybe they'll keep each other occupied.]
I have your clothes to give back, too.
no subject
[Who wouldn't? It smells too good to pass up. She smiles at them both when she spots the duo. A cheerful wave to Deku and a wink to Kido.]
I have yours too Kido-chan. All nice and clean! The ink came out easier then I thought.
[She shrugs off her backpack.]
no subject
Then you're in luck. I think we went a little overboard here.
no subject
Thank you for washing it.
no subject
[Hajime unzips her backpack taking out the set of Kido's clothes. All nice and clean~!]
I had a lot of fun with you the other day, Kido-chan. We should hang out again sometime--Dekuku, you're invited of course too!
[Hajime enjoyed both their company. Both extremely different but after being alone with both god and shinki, it was easy to see why they made a good team. They balanced each other out so well.]
no subject
[Chop chop chop-
He looks over and Kido who looks kind of like she wants to shrink until she's unnoticed.]
That sounds fun, if neither of you mind. [He likes them both, his partner and his hero friend.]
no subject
I don't think it would be bad... [Wait she knows a way to carry the conversation and also possibly avoid too much interaction!]
If you want, I can cook dinner for us one night.
