[Locked to Naminé]
[Lightning had met someone she already feels needs some sort of protection, a young girl who was quiet and shy. Naminé had been rather helpful on Light's first night in this world, and even after revealing what kind of god she was, the girl didn't shy away. She was like Serah in that regard. Looks meek and helpless, but was actually rather brave.
Light makes sure to stand outside of her home. It was too much like where Etro had resided back in Valhalla, and she was afraid that this might deter Naminé from coming inside. Now all she has to do is wait for the young girl.]
[Locked to Pidge]
[Naminé's going home now presents itself as an opportunity for Lightning to deal with her technology obsessed kid of a shinki. Pidge wasn't a bad kid. She was just a little more excitable than most kids Light has come across. Snow would definitely love that energy. Serah might as well.
She moves the curtain to enter Pidge's living area, knocking on the bedroom door before walking in.]
Come on. You're getting a tour.
[Open]
[Anyone who feels brave enough to enter the elaborate gate showing the transition between death and rebirth will find themselves in a lush garden, a river filled with all sorts of fish running through the middle like a snake. There's torches strewn about to light the way down a path to the palace.
Though the visitor will be more than likely drawn to a worn but somewhat hidden path between crystal flower and wild reeds. A trapdoor is open and seems to lead deep into the ground. Those who have done wrong in their lives will feel fear. Those who led righteous lives will feel something far more inviting. Then there are those who have been between these two who might just ignore this entirely or be overcome with curiosity.
If you choose to enter, beware the hieroglyphs and Etro script trying to show you the way. Torches along the wall give off faint enough light to show the path. These images and words might just lead you into a corridor full of traps, monsters, or worse. You might never find your way back to the surface.
But don't worry. This god will know you're in her domain. Depending on your chosen path, she'll help you or may test you further.]

Naminé approaches Lightning's temple, casting a glance around. ]
Hello, Lightning.

[So she did come. That's a relief. Lightning hadn't realized she tensed up until now. She relaxes and motions for Naminé to follow her.]
Don't mind the door. It's only supposed to look scary to ward off intruders.
no subject
Okay. Thank you for inviting me.

Watch out for the river. There's nothing dangerous in there, but it's still deep.

Oh... oh, it's beautiful, Lightning...

[She stops and points over at the ostrich.]
If that's a chocobo, it's a rather sad looking one. Not very friendly, either.
no subject
[ She's read books! She knows this! ]
I think it's called an ostrich.
no subject
[Honestly, she is relieved this isn't a chocobo. She wouldn't know how to nurse it back to health without the proper greens and medicines here. It does make her miss Odin.]
Knowing what it is won't make it any friendlier.

[Its even been eating the fruit that falls to the ground. What a good way to keep things clean.]

Oh! Yeah, I guess that'd help with knowing where things are.

She waits somewhat impatiently for her shinki to get up, tapping her foot lightly. Today please.]

You know you have your room here. [Light motions for her to follow.] This is your private living area. Only you and I have access to it, unless you give someone permission to enter. Yes, your bathroom has sand in it. No, you can't track that sound out here. The room won't let you. And yes, that's saltwater you're using to bathe in. Don't ask. It's temple, not me.
no subject
Doesn't saltwater dry out the skin though?
[ HA. Got one in. ]

[Time to walk past that white curtain that serves as the main door.] This is the main hall. Yes, it's depressing. Yes, it's a lot like something from back home. No, I don't want to talk about it. I control the lights and temperature in here, so if it's too cold, then go put on more clothes.
[Light motions to the crystal throne, a long black curtain hanging behind it.] That's where I stay. No, I'm not comfortable with taking you in there. Do you want to see the kitchen or do you want to see the outside?
no subject
Outside, please!

Before you ask, I have no idea what half of these plants are. I don't recognize them. The crystal flowers... Just ignore them. It's the temples idea of an inside joke. Get a book if you want to know the plant names, or look on your phone. You've got the internet. Don't check it till I tell you we're done.
[She points at the river.] It's deep, faster than it looks, and there's fish with teeth. Don't fall in. [Now comes the bird.] Naminé told me that's an ostrich. Don't get near him. He likes to fight.
no subject
I'm glad I have the internet, that'll help!

[She leads Pidge to a somewhat hidden dirt path that lead to a trap door.] This is the entrance to the catacombs. If you want to go in, don't go in without me.
no subject
What's down there? Is it dangerous? If so, why is it dangerous?
no subject
[Death is all about judgment. She spent a better part of the night learning how to do just that.]
