Who: Axel the Accidental Ayakashi and you!
What: After a badly thought out conversation with Roxas, Axel succumbs to his memories and turns into a fiery ayakashi. (See the plotting post for details!)
Where: In a pretty park area in the Heavens, and rampaging around from there.
When: April 28, early afternoon
Warnings: Violence, character death, body horror

[A few hours after noon, a shriek spirals up into the still air of the Far Shore. Among the trees to one side of a path, purple limbs flail, backlit by a sullen lava glow, and something massive moves. The trees tremble.

Incoming.

[With a home nestled among the forestry of the Far Shore, Omi is out in his backyard practicing his water manipulation when he hears the shrill scream in the distance. Whatever that was for, it didn't sound like anything good, and it's only in his nature to go running to try to help wherever it seems needed. He keeps his mass of pool water and takes off in the direction of the scream.

Just in case it involves trouble best not alerted to the approach of help, he opts against calling out into the forest for more information, like who's out there or what's wrong.]

[The scent of smoke wafts from the trees as grass and wood singe where the brush against an ayakashi's blazing body. Distantly, there is a crash, and a purple-black bulk swoops with startling elegance between two trunks. It's moving as though swimming through the ground; plunging into the soil with a delicate sweep of segmented, spiked limbs, and then surfacing again with a new crash and searing another patch of grass.]

[There's no time to react or give chase. One moment he sees it, and the next the ayakashi is swimming away at a rapid clip, in and out of the ground as though it were merely an illusion of solid material. After a pause, Omi abandons ideas of chasing after it, especially without his shinki there to help.

What's most disturbing is he's almost certain part of its face was human.]
