What: Sora wakes up a few days later after Axel is killed and finds out the bad news. Open prompt for visitors or door crashers.

[Sora hasn’t woken up in two days.

After escaping Axel with Riku Replica and leaving the fight to Leo and Saix, Sora barely managed to stay alive and make it to Forrest’s temple. Thankfully, Sora did manage to get there with his last ounce of strength with a final teleport.

He lays in a bed in Forrest’s temple. Sleeping and healing slowly thanks to the healing pools. But it’s not only blight Sora suffered so he lays banaged from the bloody wounds he received from the battle as well.]

[ May 1; OPEN ]

[The day after waking up, Sora still can’t walk very much without feeling fatigued. He’s tired and weak and still healing very slowly.

But the bright side is, Sora is awake now and he’ll welcome anyone who wants to come visit him. People probably want answers and Sora might just have them. He currently lays in bed, propped up with pillows and looks really bored.

He’s decided to stay at Forrest’s temple just for a few extra days until he can walk on his own again. There’s bandages up his left arm and on his torso as well. Sora got pretty banged up and it wasn’t just blight.]

Epic fantasy books I hope. [Sora says, brightening a little more. He's been a little bored out of his mind already so anything is welcome, even books.]

[He sighs, sitting down]

The ayakashi ran away after a bit, otherwise I'm not sure we would have.

[He's quiet for a second after Leo's next comment.]

It wasn't an ayakashi it was my shinki.

[Not something he'd keep from Leo, especially now.]

[Leo stares at Sora for a moment.]

I beg your pardon?

[oathkeeper]

[Sora's heart hurts just thinking about it all. His expression falls and he nods.]

...It was my shinki, Axel. He...

[brynwieldr]

What the hells happened to turn him into an ayakashi?

[oathkeeper]

[After listening to Roxas explain it, it's still a really painful mental image.]

He remembered his past. I guess that's what happens when a shinki remembers or gets told. They just...

[Tears start pricking his eyes again and he goes to rub them away.]

My gods. How did he--?

[oathkeeper]

[Sora shakes his head. He doesn't blame Roxas for everything that happened, Roxas didn't know that was going to happen.]

It was all one giant accident. He pushed to hard and he found out some things from his past and then he just changed into that. He couldn't control himself at all.

[Sora looks away.] He's dead now.

[brynwieldr]

He is.

[Leo lets out a breath, thinking. Obviously whatever happened wasn't meant to happen, but to think that this is what happens when a shinki is told about their past...]

Were you there?

[oathkeeper]

[Sora shakes his head.]

No, I only saw him after he turned into that. It was... It was Roxas that saw everything happen. But it wasn't his fault. He didn't know that was going to happen.

[brynwieldr]

Roxas?

[Leo frowns. He should see how he's doing.]

You'd have thought the gods would have warned us about this.

[oathkeeper]

[Sora lets out a tired sigh.]

I'd say. It's pretty important! Just... make sure this never happens to your shinki. I'm going to tell mine too. Maybe even a giant post would be a good idea...?

[brynwieldr]

Maybe once you're feeling better and can better explain what was going on, unless Roxas wants to.

[oathkeeper]

[Sora immediately shakes his head.] No, he won't want to. I need to talk with everyone else that had Axel, and then maybe I'll do it myself.

[He really wants to check in with Pippa and Ayumu to see if they are okay.]

[brynwieldr]

If you're sure.

[The books fall over from where they'd been set and Leo swears. He stands, wincing, and nearly falls to the ground before he gets his feet under him and limps to go pick them up]

[oathkeeper]

Leo!?

[Sora frowns. Why is Leo walking around trying to pick stuff up when he's obviously still injured from the fighting? Prepare for an earful.]

Leave the books, that's fine! What're you doing walking around when you're still hurt? You need to go use the healing pools right now. Are your legs okay?

[He'd get up and be a human crutch right now if he wasn't also bed ridden.]

[brynwieldr]

I'm fine, Sora. It's a sprain, that's all. I am on very strong "pain killers" and have "crutches".

[That aren't here with him.]

[oathkeeper]

Well where are they then?!

[Have a very concerned upset son stare.]

[brynwieldr]

At my temple. They're annoying, and they throw my balance off too much.

[oathkeeper]

Well there not supposed to give you five star treatment, Leo. They're to help you walk so you heal properly.

[Fussing now, Sora pulls away his blankets and goes to stand up. He's a bit wobbly but he'll manage. Determined, he moves to help Leo stand.]

Come on, go soak in Forrest's pool for a bit and we'll get someone to go get those crunches, you dummy.

[brynwieldr]

[And Leo, just as determined though only with his good arm, tries to get Sora back in bed]

You only just woke up from a coma, Sora. Get back in bed--I'll be fine.

[oathkeeper]

[Sora just defiantly swats at Leo.]

No, your foot is gonna snap off and you'll wobble around like an old man. I'm fine right now, time to go to the healing things.

[brynwieldr]

...it's sprained. Not broken. Nothing will snap, and I will be fine. Get in bed.

[oathkeeper]

[Sora sighs loudly in frustration. Why is everyone allowed to fuss over him but he's not allowed to help anyone in return? How annoying! He frowns at Leo and goes to climb back in bed.]
