Who: Sora & Roxas, Sora & OPEN
What: Sora wakes up a few days later after Axel is killed and finds out the bad news. Open prompt for visitors or door crashers.
When: April 30 late afternoon and May 1
Where: Lakshmi’s Temple
Warnings: Probably talk of body injuries

[Sora hasn’t woken up in two days.

After escaping Axel with Riku Replica and leaving the fight to Leo and Saix, Sora barely managed to stay alive and make it to Forrest’s temple. Thankfully, Sora did manage to get there with his last ounce of strength with a final teleport.

He lays in a bed in Forrest’s temple. Sleeping and healing slowly thanks to the healing pools. But it’s not only blight Sora suffered so he lays banaged from the bloody wounds he received from the battle as well.]

[ May 1; OPEN ]

[The day after waking up, Sora still can’t walk very much without feeling fatigued. He’s tired and weak and still healing very slowly.

But the bright side is, Sora is awake now and he’ll welcome anyone who wants to come visit him. People probably want answers and Sora might just have them. He currently lays in bed, propped up with pillows and looks really bored.

He’s decided to stay at Forrest’s temple just for a few extra days until he can walk on his own again. There’s bandages up his left arm and on his torso as well. Sora got pretty banged up and it wasn’t just blight.]

[He didn't even mean it. It's just how he talks...]

I'd be glad to. [He folds his hands, thinking about prayers.] I've never done one. I'd like to be useful to you, since you've named me.

[And he.... can't be, right now.]

Never? Really? That's not good.

[That's really surprising to Sora. It only makes him that more glad that Nageki is his shinki now.]

We'll do a lot, then. I want to make sure you can be the strongest you can be. Can you do borderlines?

[Sora's really nurturing with his shinki. The more they can grow the happier he is.]

[Oh boy. Maybe he should've told Sora more about his experiences before he agreed to be named...] I can't. I haven't been able to learn much about being a shinki...

[He's so under experienced. What if Sora gets upset about that? He said it wasn't good. Nageki just really wants to be useful to his friends.]

[Sora would never be upset about Nageki being inexperienced. Never ever. He's thinking more along the lines of he's going to do his best to bring Nageki to his full potential. Hopefully he'll be more open to Sora's desire to help than Riku Replica.]

Then we'll have to get you in some classes! I can show you the basics of how to do it, but I can't cast them myself. Once you get the hang of it you can check with Kazuma to see if he has more room in his training lessons. How about that? Would you like that?

In classes? [He knows he was recommended classes when he first got here. But with no god using him... He hadn't bothered.]

I don't know. Do you think it would work? Do you think Mister Joshua would be okay with it?

I'm sure he'll be more than fine with it! I think you'll be really good at them if you tried.

[Honestly he'd jump right out of bed right now and drag Nageki out into the gardens to start trying if anyone would freaking let him get out of this room for five seconds.]

[Nageki is not letting him out of this room for five seconds so that's not happening.]

You're very confident for never seeing me in battle.

[Sora's really going to go bonkers being held prisoner for so long.]

Why wouldn't I be? Every shinki is good at something.

I suppose it's just refreshing. [From his own pessimism, honestly.]

You're great, Nageki, don't let anyone tell you different.

[Honestly he's glad that Nageki is at least somewhat open to the ideas. It makes him feel happy and is putting him at ease.]

Ever thought about trying to learn to use a sword?

I don't think my body is strong enough for that... [It's true. He's very frail. Those size-too-big clothes don't help him look any stronger.]

Well there's other weapons too, not just swords.

[He doesn't know much about other weapons aside from swords though.]

Anything ever catch your eye?

I really don't think I'm built for fighting like that. After all, birds aren't normally very strong.

[Sora smiles warmly. Just chatting about things like this is making him smile. Taking his mind off things.]

One of my best friends, he's a duck, I told you about him, right?. And he's a super strong mage. He's the strongest mage I know! So don't count yourself out!

A mage isn't a physical fighter, is it? [Nageki blinks at him before rolling up his sleeves. He's very scrawny.]

I'm really not sure I can fight myself, Sora. [Look at him.]

[Sora doesn't even skip a beat.] That's why I thought about magic instead. I wonder if I can teach you magic?

[Would that even be possible? He's not sure.]

Magic? Isn't that the sort of thing you need to be born with?

[He's just a plain kid...]

Honestly, I have no idea.

[He really doesn't. He shrugs.]

But if I can learn a bunch of random stuff, I'm sure you could try picking up some of it?

[He really just wants to help Nageki learn something new. It'll give Sora something to focus on for a while. He laughs and grins.]

Let's just start with borderlines.

I'm not uninterested. But I don't want you to be disappointed.

[He grins.] You're not gonna disappoint me, Nageki!

Really though, if you find something you wanna learn and I can help you with it? Let me know, okay?

I'll keep it in mind. Though I'm not sure what kind of things you can help me with. There are a lot of things I'd like to learn.

Hey, I'm a great teacher. Give me a chance! [He laughs.] What kinds of things do you wanna learn?

Everything. I have no memories, so I feel like I don't know very much. I read all the time. But knowing about something doesn't mean knowing something.

I guess we'll figure it all out then. Don't worry!

[He seems to remember something just then, and perks up.]

By the way, did you want your own room at my temple? Joshua said he'd leave your room for you, but I don't mind if you want one at my temple too.

[What?]

... I don't want to impose on you. Your rooms should be for your shinki....
