Wake up to the beating of your heart
Who: Gon, Alluka & Killua
What: Prayer #: 03
When: Backdated to hell: Feb
Where: A rundown neighborhood
Warnings: Killua being Killua
[It had been a little over a week and Gon still wasn’t use to this God-thing. But prayers were showing up so that meant there were some people that believed in them and need help.
Gon had accepted it almost instantly. He had been getting pretty restless and there was a lot weighing on his mind. Sitting around and thinking about it just made it worse. Sitting around with Killua and Alluka at their new home made it even more so. The fact they didn’t remember anything and he couldn’t say anything--it was eating at him.
At least with the prayer they could do something.]
----
[It’s evening when the trio arrives at the neighbor. The sun is setting but it doesn’t seem that noisey just yet. Gon glances around, taking in everything around him. The woman’s apartment was located in what looked like a troubled side of town. Graffiti covered outside of various nearby buildings and trash littering the streets. There’s a number of questionable looking people that pass down the sidewalk. Some shoot them a look, probably wondering what three kids are doing out late on that side of town.
Gon digs a small folded paper out of his pocket and looks it over quickly.]
Okay. The prayer said we need to quieten the neighbor down somehow. It really doesn't seem that bad so far...

Okay. The prayer said we need to quieten the neighbor down somehow. It really doesn't seem that bad so far...

In the end, though, he gave in to Gon's insistence on the condition that he be allowed to get Alluka out and to safety if things should go poorly.
So Killua doesn't look too happy, his hands in his pockets, and a scowl on his face.]
Yeah, but they're obviously gonna wait till it's dark. Then it's harder to find out where the noise is coming from, dumbass.
[Killua please don't talk to your god like that, oh my god.]
no subject
By and large, Alluka really didn't mind coming along on what might be a dangerous mission. Considering the other two were here as well, there's no real reason to feel anything but safe.
Killua really shouldn't be so rude to Gon, though, golly.]
It would probably be easier to figure out if we knew what kind of noise it was...
[All the prayer had said that 'it was too noisy' in the neighborhood, does that mean it's a bunch of different things causing rackets all the time...? Hm.]
no subject
[Gon glances to the Zoldyck pair. He's new to this, as are they, but he really has no clue how to go about it. Didn't gods act without direct contact or something? Until now, he'd never met any gods or been one. But seeing how people could walk by without noticing them at all...it felt that way.
Gon's shoulders sag a bit and he gives Killua a pointed look. Wow.]
Or do you just want to wait around until its dark.
no subject
Okay, so... what if we ask the person what kind of noisiness it is and then wait until it starts up?
[He pauses, tapping his chin.]
Then again, having a bunch of strange kids show up at your door to ask about the noise might seem kinda creepy, huh?
[Dealing with people is hard, yo.]
no subject
Maybe... if we go to where they live, and wait around that area? [It probably wouldn't seem as strange, sine it's not like it would be something that would specifically draw any attention to the group, so anyone who might come around probably wouldn't even notice them.] We'd probably be able to hear what kind of noises are happening, and then figure out what to do from there, I think.
no subject
That could work. You're great, Alluka! [He flashes her a smile before looking forward again. It seemed like a soild idea. Worse case, they would be right next to the house if they got tired and decided to ask anyway]
I really hope it doesn't take long to start up though. We should have eaten before we left.
[Gon lets out a sign, patting his stomach thoughtfully as he leads the way to where the house would be]
no subject
Isn't she the smartest?
[Okay, Killua, calm down. At the mention of food, Killua's face falls though, and he pouts at Gon.]
Maaaaan, now you've got me thinking about it! What the heck!
no subject
But then food is brought up, and considering this is a party of literal children we're talking about here, Alluka falls prey to the same sudden onslaught of hunger. The glowing from the praise just a moment ago is replaced with a certain kind of weariness, one that will probably be easy enough to overcome sooner or later, but one that's hard to not show at least a little.]
Mmmh... We should hurry up and do this quickly so we can get back and eat...!
[And, with that thought, Alluka grabs a hold of Killua's hand so that the pair can stick close on Gon's heels as he leads the trio.]

[Gon smiles back apologetically to the pair as he leads the way. The home is only a handful of mintues away. It's in a small apartment building and is the one on the far side of said building. A few of the apartments next to it have broken windows, crooked doors and questionable things spray painted on the side. Only one lone street light laminates the area for the small trio. But there still isn't any noise.]
This is the place.
[Not much better they can do other then ask to go inside or something]
no subject
As they reach their destination, he looks around thoughtfully, ears straining for any kind of out of place noise, but there doesn't seem to be anything at all.]
Geez, maybe this prayer is just bogus after all. There's no noise or anything!
no subject
Alluka remains quiet as they approach, trying to tread as softly as possible to make it easier to hear any unusual noises. But... there's nothing yet?]
Maybe not just yet... [Implying they might have to wait a little longer. Everyone's hungry now, but patience, brother. Patience.] Let's wait for a while.
