OPTION ONE: Cellphone Blues
[ Itachi's standing outside of a large electronics store, gazing at a window display of what appears to be incredibly high-tech walkie-talkies that he's seen everyone carry around. He figured he probably needs one... but he doesn't know the first thing about them. He hasn't asked his god to help--mainly because he looks like a complete idiot (a cute idiot but still an idiot), and he doesn't feel any sort of affinity to them to ask for help. ]

[ So there he is, the 5'8" former ninja just peering into the window. Help him out? ]

OPTION TWO: Temple Worship
[ He's checking out some temples in the area. Whichever it is, it belongs to either you or your god! He's peering towards the structure with a curious expression on his face. ]

OPTION THREE: The Candy Man Can
[ If he were any closer to the window of the candy shop, he'd be licking it. He kind of wants to, if it would get him any closer to the candy inside. It all looks so good. He's waffling in between going in and getting some, but it seems like a waste of money. He should save it. He doesn't have a lot of it. ]

[ ...But... ]

You look lost.

[ Zero's carrying a rather large porcelain doll. It's for a prayer okay! ]

[ His head turns at the familiar voice. He straightens up, as tall as he can get. It doesn't make a difference. ]

Zero-san. [ He greets him. ] ...What are... [ And his eyes drift down to the doll. ]

[ He knows what made him stop but he's going to carry on as if he's not hefting a pretty little thing on his shoulder. ]

Since you didn't know what what a car was, I figured that's the reason why you're standing out here with your nose pressed to the glass.

[ His red eyes manage to slide away from the doll. He nods once. ]

Yes. I've been most people with one of these devices around. I hear there's a way to connect with other shinki and even the gods with one.

You can.

[ He shifts the doll as he moves towards the door. ]

You know how to use it?

There are similar devices I am... acquainted with, at least upon seeing them. Walkie-talkies, I believe?

I'm not sure how to use one of these, however. [ And he follows him, into the shop. ]

Will you show me?

I know them. They're usually short range. They're mainly for kids to play with.

[ Real ops didn't use such an easily intercepted line of communication.

He nods at him, and throws the doll at him.]

Don't drop it.

[ He warns, as he moves to open the door for them and head inside. ]

[ He snatches it out of the air with ease, reflexes kicking in, and he still can't explain why he can move so fast, or why such a thing is second nature. He just accepts it. He looks down at the doll before following the other inside. ]

[ The electronic store isn't just full of phones. It's packed with all sorts of tech, from computers to bluetooth devices to mp3 players, and for a moment, Itachi looks overwhelmed. His hold on the doll increases, not tight, just secure. He follows Zero into the fray of metal and plastic. ]

You must own one of these devices, if you're familiar with them.

[Lightning was about to head out when she just stops. There's someone standing outside of her temple she doesn't know...

She puts a hand on her hip before calling out to this stranger.]

Can I help you?

[ There is a faint swish of a black ponytail as he looks to the side... only to spot a woman who is gazing at him with a face that seems to demand answers. ]

[ He stands a bit straighter, even if he is not of impressive height: 5'8", but it does what it needs to. Itachi's red eyes flicker over her. ]

...I'm fine. [ He doesn't realize this is her temple. ]

[ Call him a native of Akiba by now. It's weird but it feels like home to him. Maybe he lived here once, he doesn't know. Eno knows his way around Akihabara and its byways, especially when it comes to electronics parts and yes, even cellphones. So it's a little strange for him to see this... guy... hanging out in front of one of the electronics stores. Judging by how no one's come out to offer him a deal yet, he can only assume he's one of them.

Is he checking out phones?

So, shifting his shopping to one hand, he's just going to come up beside the other guy. ]

If you're looking for a phone, this store's a little overpriced.

[She's only 5'7", and yes, always demands answers. She tilts her head a bit before asking another question.]

Then why are you loitering in front of my place?

[ Oh. He stares at her for a moment longer, then: ]

I didn't realize this was your temple. [ So then... she was a god? He gave her another look over. Yes. He could see it, someone as beautiful and astute as her fit his image of what a god should be like, if given the opportunity to voice such an opinion. ]

...Does that mean you're a god?

[ There was a glance over towards the other man, red eyes taking in the newcomer. ]

...You can see me... [ Then, that meant... ]

[ He offers a nod back, pushing up his glasses as he stepped closer. At least he doesn't look like this guy's going to kill him. ]

I'm from the Far Shore, too. A shinki.

[With how much this place screams Egyptian tomb, she's not surprised. Her own shinki was intimidated by the structure and all of the secrets this place held.

She raises an eyebrow at him.]

Isn't it obvious? I wouldn't call it my place if I wasn't.

You could have been a shinki living under its roof. [ Is the counter. ] I'm not going to make assumptions.

Is it normal for you to disrupt those who are interested in your place of worship?

A shinki... [ And he turned to face Eno fully, offering a nod of his head. ] As am I.

Itachi. [ A shinki is safe enough to give out a name. ]

[ There's a nod back at that. ]

Eno. Ah... Tatsuya Enomoto, actually but... Eno's fine.

[ And shifting his shopping back into one hand. ]

Decided to take a look around town?

[ Sephiroth is outside of his god's - Hephaestus - temple, sitting on the stairs with a book about Japan in one hand. The temple itself boasts carvings mostly. Zack has not seen the need to alter its current state. Sephiroth doesn't care either way aside the fact that it acts well enough as a base of operations for now.

Looking up from his book when he hears someone approach, those slitted green eyes land heavily on the stranger. ]

What do you want?

[ How's that for a hello? ]

Tatsuya is a nice name. [ He likes the sound of it, but if he wants to be called Eno, then... ]

I've never been to Japan before. [ Even if he looks and has a name of someone from Japan, but technicalities. ] ...And the technology here is fascinating.

[ He didn't even notice the guy there... for some reason. Probably too absorbed in looking at the temple. Bus his gaze turns to the silver-haired man. ]

...Nothing... other than uninterrupted observation. [ But he saw him, which meant... he was either a god or a shinki. He didn't know which one. ] Unless you are an authority that would disallow such a thing.

[This stranger has a point. She's still not used to this place and seeing people who weren't begging for her help.] My shinki is the type to tell people it was my place, not hers.

It's normal if you're not used to it. [She waves her hand at the door depicting the transition from death to life. It's not pretty.] This makes people think twice before stopping.

[ His eyes move away from her, returning to the outlines on the door. Even if it's not conventional, there is beauty in most things, odd or dark as they may be. He can appreciate it. ]

[ There's some silence. ]

What are you the god of, then? [ Another pause. ] ...The afterlife?

[She knows it scares people. Makes them fear death. After all, what Lightning is the god of...]

That along with death, life, and resurrection. The name is Osiris.
