OPTION ONE: Cellphone Blues
[ Itachi's standing outside of a large electronics store, gazing at a window display of what appears to be incredibly high-tech walkie-talkies that he's seen everyone carry around. He figured he probably needs one... but he doesn't know the first thing about them. He hasn't asked his god to help--mainly because he looks like a complete idiot (a cute idiot but still an idiot), and he doesn't feel any sort of affinity to them to ask for help. ]

[ So there he is, the 5'8" former ninja just peering into the window. Help him out? ]

OPTION TWO: Temple Worship
[ He's checking out some temples in the area. Whichever it is, it belongs to either you or your god! He's peering towards the structure with a curious expression on his face. ]

OPTION THREE: The Candy Man Can
[ If he were any closer to the window of the candy shop, he'd be licking it. He kind of wants to, if it would get him any closer to the candy inside. It all looks so good. He's waffling in between going in and getting some, but it seems like a waste of money. He should save it. He doesn't have a lot of it. ]

[ ...But... ]

You look lost.

[ Zero's carrying a rather large porcelain doll. It's for a prayer okay! ]

[ His head turns at the familiar voice. He straightens up, as tall as he can get. It doesn't make a difference. ]

Zero-san. [ He greets him. ] ...What are... [ And his eyes drift down to the doll. ]

[ He knows what made him stop but he's going to carry on as if he's not hefting a pretty little thing on his shoulder. ]

Since you didn't know what what a car was, I figured that's the reason why you're standing out here with your nose pressed to the glass.

[ His red eyes manage to slide away from the doll. He nods once. ]

Yes. I've been most people with one of these devices around. I hear there's a way to connect with other shinki and even the gods with one.

[Lightning was about to head out when she just stops. There's someone standing outside of her temple she doesn't know...

She puts a hand on her hip before calling out to this stranger.]

Can I help you?

[ There is a faint swish of a black ponytail as he looks to the side... only to spot a woman who is gazing at him with a face that seems to demand answers. ]

[ He stands a bit straighter, even if he is not of impressive height: 5'8", but it does what it needs to. Itachi's red eyes flicker over her. ]

...I'm fine. [ He doesn't realize this is her temple. ]

uwu I have always wanted to play against an Itachi so we both win!

[She's only 5'7", and yes, always demands answers. She tilts her head a bit before asking another question.]

Then why are you loitering in front of my place?

Yeaaaah!

[ Oh. He stares at her for a moment longer, then: ]

I didn't realize this was your temple. [ So then... she was a god? He gave her another look over. Yes. He could see it, someone as beautiful and astute as her fit his image of what a god should be like, if given the opportunity to voice such an opinion. ]

...Does that mean you're a god?

[ Call him a native of Akiba by now. It's weird but it feels like home to him. Maybe he lived here once, he doesn't know. Eno knows his way around Akihabara and its byways, especially when it comes to electronics parts and yes, even cellphones. So it's a little strange for him to see this... guy... hanging out in front of one of the electronics stores. Judging by how no one's come out to offer him a deal yet, he can only assume he's one of them.

Is he checking out phones?

So, shifting his shopping to one hand, he's just going to come up beside the other guy. ]

If you're looking for a phone, this store's a little overpriced.

[ There was a glance over towards the other man, red eyes taking in the newcomer. ]

...You can see me... [ Then, that meant... ]

[ He offers a nod back, pushing up his glasses as he stepped closer. At least he doesn't look like this guy's going to kill him. ]

I'm from the Far Shore, too. A shinki.

A shinki... [ And he turned to face Eno fully, offering a nod of his head. ] As am I.

Itachi. [ A shinki is safe enough to give out a name. ]

[ Sephiroth is outside of his god's - Hephaestus - temple, sitting on the stairs with a book about Japan in one hand. The temple itself boasts carvings mostly. Zack has not seen the need to alter its current state. Sephiroth doesn't care either way aside the fact that it acts well enough as a base of operations for now.

Looking up from his book when he hears someone approach, those slitted green eyes land heavily on the stranger. ]

What do you want?

[ How's that for a hello? ]

[ He didn't even notice the guy there... for some reason. Probably too absorbed in looking at the temple. Bus his gaze turns to the silver-haired man. ]

...Nothing... other than uninterrupted observation. [ But he saw him, which meant... he was either a god or a shinki. He didn't know which one. ] Unless you are an authority that would disallow such a thing.

This is the temple of my god. [ He states as if that is all the reason he needs. After a moment, Sephiroth turns back to his book, speaking as he reads. ] His grounds and no others.

[ Of course the real reason is a little deeper. Sephiroth is tired of people. Their presence. Their incessant chatter and motion. ]

So you would turn a worshipper away?

[Dakuwaqa's is a little stranger then some. This temple is more off on it's own and happens to be positioned on a nice bench and inside a cliff. It really doesn't resemble a temple at all. Well, In less maybe Itachi would venture further inside--but before that's possible Goten is making his way over from behind the ninja. He blinks at Itachi, staring up at him.]

Are you a friend of Archie's? I never see anyone come all the way over here!

[ The sound of a child's voice has him looking back, then down, and there is what he expected: a cute kid. The questions, though... ]

No, I'm afraid I don't know them.

I was just exploring, is all. [ A beat. ] ...Is this your temple?

[sonofson]

[Oh. Okay! That is clearly all the explanation Goten needs. If he was even a little suspicious of Itachi before, it's clearly gone as he gives a welcoming smile.]

I do that a lot too. There's a bunch of places to explore.

[He nods]

I do live here but it's Archie's temple.

[Davesprite's found that even if going on the Near Shore risks freaking out a lot of humans if any of them pay attention to him for long enough, it gives a lot more space to roam around than the Far Shore. If the trade-off is being a little careful about approaching people, he can take that.

But it's difficult to ignore the guy basically pressed up against the candy store window, and so he skims down through the sky to land on his half-curled ghostly tail behind the guy.]

Dude, even if most of the people here don't notice you until you punch them in the dick, someone's gonna lay eyes on the creeper pressing his face up against the shop window before long.

[Being a bright orange half-bird with a ghost tail, Davesprite can't really talk about being noticed, but oh well.]

[ Yeah you kind of stick out like a sore thumb, but maybe it doesn't really matter for either of them, especially since... no one can really see them. ]

[ Punching them in the dick, though... ] ...I sincerely doubt you need to have that close of an encounter in order for them to see you. [ But that being said. ]

I was just looking at... the sweets. [ Maybe he was a little overzealous. ]

I dunno, they're pretty fucking blind when it comes to the less than mundane. [As if to demonstrate, Davesprite waves a taloned hand in front of the face of someone walking past them into the shop, and promptly gets ignored.

Picking someone with headphones probably didn't help, but oh well.

Davesprite looks from Itachi to the shop front and back with an almost comically flat expression before he decides it's high time to point out the elephant in the room.]

Yeah, I kinda figured that one out as soon as I laid eyes on you. Any reason you're window shopping instead of shopping shopping, or are you one of my filthy freeloading jobless brethren.

[ He hasn't gotten out much -not that he's tried- but there comes a point where even meditation and trying to wrap his mind around everything that's happened to him this far gets boring and overplayed. And so a walk it is, even if it makes him feel more out of place due to the cultural and cosmetic differences. This world, its clothing, and its technology are just so completely foreign...

But he needed to get out, which is how he ended up across the street from a candy shop and a very familiar figure practically drooling on the windows.

He'd told himself to put distance there, but at the same time... he can't bring himself to stick to that.

Crossing the street, Sasuke makes up his mind to at least say hi. Whether Itachi remembers him or not, it doesn't change the fact that the man is still someone very important to him. ] There are better ways to wash the glass than with your tongue, you know.

[ The familiar voice has him turning towards the other Uchiha. ]

Sasuke-sama. [ He greets formally, but he's trying to quell the slow flush rising up at the tops of his cheeks. ]

[ He didn't have a smart comeback for his lustful gaze into the window. ] No one can see me, so it hardly matters how I look into this or any window.

...Are you out exploring?

[ The formal greeting grates on him a little, if only because he wants to reach out and shake him to make him stop. But he doesn't. Instead, he brushes it off to focus on the rest of what was said. ]

I was bored and decided to take a walk.

[ But really, Itachi? Really? ]

You know, they can see you if they try, or if you do anything to call attention to yourself. I mean, you are kind of drooling all over their window... [ There is a way around that, though, and to that end, he heads for the door of the shop. ] Come with me.
