[Jae-Ha had started this morning out by heading over to the near shore and doing some shopping. He had to buy more clothes, first of all, for various reasons, and then there was something else he was interested in. So, by the time he comes back, he has a variety of bags slung over his arms.

He waits until most of it is taken care of and put away before moving to find the couch that Hazel's sitting on. His fingers are curled loosely into his palms, but his sleeves are long enough that this probably just seems normal as he moves over.]

Come here. [That's his greeting as he sits down next to him, holding his arms out expectantly for Hazel to sit up a bit more.]

I could be readin' the directions on the back of those instant noodles and you'd be fallin' all over me for it.

[He says this fondly, thankfully... It's cute. And he's not mad!! The cuddling really helps him not get mad, so. Great.] Well, it's gettin' there, I'll give it that.

To be fair, those directions are written so small! To make out those characters is impressive.

[He would love it, you see.] Tell me some more about what happens. Is this a love story? [Probably nothing about this has screamed love story.]

[Lord... anyway, this isn't a love story at all, hmm.] Do ya want it to be?

Is that really a question? Of course. I'd like it to be a beautiful romance! Where the main character can hold their love interest tight in their arms after chapters and chapters of tension.

[Read him a shoujo.]

I'll see what I can do, so sit tight and prepare yourself for the story of a lifetime.

[A shoujo... it's his favorite genre. He'll keep turning pages like he's still reading the actual text here, but it's more like he takes the characters already introduced and spins an absolutely ridiculous shoujo drama romance out of their names and occasionally catching a sentence or two on the pages he's skipping. There's passion, there's intrigue, there's terrible villainy trying to oppose their love but in the end it will surpass all odds!!

It's absolute garbage, but he gets real into it. The main characters are definitely not expies for the two of them three "chapters" in, no way...]

[This is the greatest thing. It's real obvious from the start, but Jae-Ha gets into it, too. He waits for one of Hazel's grand story telling moments to lean up, gently placing a hand on that book to push it out of the way so he can kiss Hazel on the lips. How's this for passion!!]

[Wait, let him finish the best part first— But good passion, A+ would passion again.]

Well, it's just a lil hobby. [He's terrible at this, don't encourage him.]

I'm on the edge of my seat. [He says, laying half on top of Hazel.] I thought they would never confess. Now what's to hold them back from moving past everything else? What an unstoppable pair.

[Why do they hook up in like, chapter 4??? Who cares, Jae-Ha doesn't.]

[It's been a whole two weeks and they're tired of waiting, that's why. Chapter 4 is the best chapter. Hazel wags a finger at him, like, patience!!]

You'll have to wait and see what happens next. But I'll take a good guess.

[razzledazzles]

It's killing me to know. No matter what struggles might come up, it must be that they kiss again, right?

[Jae-Ha smiles as he leans forward, kissing him sweetly.] And that even if their lives had been going strong before, that their meeting gives them even more to live for. Their bond is something special, so they hold one another and face their danger hand in hand, don't they?

[Feed him more shoujo bullshit or he will just feed it back like this.]

Hmm, of course there's another kiss. [There is Always another kiss, Jae-Ha. Hazel pokes his cheek, so he will lie back down and listen to the rest of this great story.]

Now, since ya mentioned facin' danger... [The second half of this story is even more melodramatic than the first. There are at least three dramatic kiss scenes and at least one chase. Will they find happiness in each other's arms in the end???

Yeah of course, this isn't one of those weird sad shoujos where everyone dies.]

[Why does he love this so much... Holy shit. It's such a silly thing, to sit here listening to this story, but he does. And he gets into it, and he reacts to it, and by the end he's clutching Hazel's shirt tight.]

And from then on, they were able to relax happily without threats from anyone else? That's how I'd like it to end.

[He loves that Jae-Ha loves it, honestly. He even ramps up the DRAMA!! for his sake, squeezing his hands over Jae-Ha's when he gets to the very end.]

That's the way. Happily ever after, the end.

I want to support your talents, but if you told that to anyone besides me, they'd definitely fall for your charms.

[Jae-Ha loves the hand squeeze and everything. He leans up now, pressing a kiss to the corner of his mouth.] And then what would I do? Selfishly, I want to keep it all to myself.

[churchbelle]

Oh, it's that good? I'm a natural.

[Let him woo the people with his trash shoujo, gosh.] I can't help it if somebody's charmed, but I'm dedicatin' all of it right here.

[He's never been more gay..... never more gay than right now, kissing Jae-Ha and squeezing his hands again.]

[Ugh... End him here. Jae-Ha breaks that kiss slowly just to watch Hazel, a small breath slipping out as he does.]

You're incredibly attractive.

[How's a guy supposed to hold back and let his bf study like this??] If you keep speaking like that, I'll be too tempted to distract you.

[Ah... He should study, really. The thirst is not all-powerful yet. But he still hesitates.]

Why don't ya go get your letters? [Study alongside him, they can take makeout breaks.]

[Hmm, there, that's good to keep his thirst at bay.]

I could show you something I've added to my name. Let me grab my things.

[He slips away from the couch with one last kiss to his mouth, winking as he practically floats out of the room. When he returns, it's with his lovely flashcards, the dragon journal and that ridiculous pen.

The first thing he does is pass his journal over. Ignoring the various times he's written Jaeha and Hazel, there's one part he's underlined in the center of the page he's turned to. Jae-Ha.

[Thirst momentarily quenched, Hazel sits back up when Jae-Ha leaves to get his stuff. He reaches up to touch his hair and knocks into the hair decoration, flinching as it definitely goes crooked, so that's going to be a thing when Jae-Ha comes back...

But he'll look at this notebook first, before he's embarrassed by hair accessories. What are these gay as hell pages, can he see those instead—

I read that it's mostly cosmetic. It looks nice, doesn't it?

[Don't criticize the hyphen. He leans forward as soon as he spots that crooked hair decoration, though, shifting to slip it out completely so he can fix it again.]

[Babe...... He's holding still for his hair fixing, which is lucky, since now he can give Jae-Ha a look without interruption.]

I read that it's common in Korea. If I recognize that language, then it must make sense! I say my name with a bit of a pause, don't I?

[He has reasoned out this aesthetic. He smiles a little at Hazel as he slides the hair stick right back into place. Straight now.]

Compare it to before. [Now he can look at all those gay pages and witness that.]

Y'really thought this out. [He's kind of impressed... In a weird way, but kind of! Now he definitely wants to see the gay pages though, Dare to Compare.]

[Gosh... Leaning a little closer to watch Hazel looking at it, though, he blinks.] I don't see what's wrong with practicing. See? Our names became so lovely compared to when I first tried.

[There sure is a transformation from basic letters to extravagant fancy curves where they don't need to be.]

[It's a little bit schoolboy stalker crush, but only a little. Since he's learning. Hazel is eyeing these fancy swooping letters, hmm.]
