Have you seen his god?
Who: Senri and you
What: Roxas left for a few days and didn't leave a note. Or maybe he did.A note wouldn't help Senri anyway.
Where: Every single temple he can find.
When: The several days that Roxas is staying at Odin's temple.
Warnings: Sad bear in rain?idk nothing probably.
[Senri knew Roxas had been having a hard time lately. And he's been trying to help in his own way. It had seemed like things might be getting better? But then Roxas just... didn't come back one day. So maybe things got worse again. Or something else happened. Senri doesn't know. And... isn't likely to figure it out on his own.
So there's really only one thing to do. Find Roxas. And since he still hasn't mastered the little flashing picture machine that everyone else uses to talk to each other, Senri is doing this the old fashioned way. Door to door. Knocking at each temple, one at a time. And if anyone answers, he has only a single question.]
Roxas...?
[Is his god here? The 'hello' is implied.]

[When Sakon answered the door, this really wasn't what he was expecting to find on the other side. He's not really sure what he was expecting, but it wasn't some confused looking guy with an even more confusing question. So he's left kind of hanging halfway out of the doorway with a befuddled expression his face.]
No, I'm Sakon. What's a Roxas?
[Seems like the important question to ask.]
no subject
God...
[Specifically his god.]
no subject
[Sakon scratches his head in befuddlement, then draws himself back up to his full height and leans on the door frame.]
So "Roxas" is a god? What god? Your god? Did you lose him? Is he lost?
[Clearly Sakon intends on making up for the silence entirely by himself.]
no subject
nod, nod...]
Artemis.
[Nod, nod, slight hesitation.... nod. There, that should cover everything.]
no subject
You nodded every time! You really nodded every time! So you lost him, huh? That's rough. Does he have a phone? Can you call him?
[He barely understands the phone himself, but he sure is fascinated with it.
But...
Wait.]
Oh, that would be a real problem for you, huh? You can't nod into a phone, huh? Can you do the thing where you write on it?
[Texting, Sakon. It's called texting.]
no subject
More hesitantly, he answers the next set of questions.
Nod. Nod. Head shake. Calling him is out of the question. Senri couldn't use the phone to save his life. So another nod and head shake followed by....]
Can't write...

[Sakon would probably be doing the door to door thing himself, but the major difference is that he wouldn't have any difficulty getting his point across. Actually, the problem would be letting anyone get a word in edgewise to let him know where Nagisa was.]
Can you draw? You could put up posters like people do for cats. I've seen a bunch of those and I think we've gotten a few prayers about that kind of thing. I guess it would only work on the Far Shore, though. What would they even see in the Near Shore? A blurry square? Or do they see us if it's just a picture someone drew? I guess they could see it since you can see statues in temples and things like that, right?
[Sakon, you aren't helping.]
no subject
He tilts his head. Senri is hardly an expert, but he could probably draw a picture of Roxas. And then people would know who he was looking for right away! It's a really good idea. Those other questions he can't help with, since Senri has no idea whether people in the near shore can see pictures of them. Or why it would matter either way. So he shrugs. And then starts rummaging around in his little bag for something to draw on. Too bad all he has is his book.
And he can't draw on that. It's too important.]
no subject
Who? You've got the wrong place.
[He… doesn't slam the door in his face though. He just looks upset on Senri's behalf.]
no subject
[Senri sighs, his shoulders slumping a little. He really isn't having any luck today.]
no subject
Are you just... going door to door looking for him??
[Because that's a bad plan, buddy.]
no subject
But what else could he do? Is there a better way? Senri tilts his head at the boy questioningly. Maybe he can elaborate?]
no subject
Why don't you try posting on the BBS? That might make it easier to find him!
no subject
[Head tiiiilt. That is not a word he knows.]
no subject
Yeah, like... the internet? Do you not know the internet?
[To his credit, he only sounds mildly exasperated.]
no subject
[He's never heard of that kind of net. Do you catch fish with that? When tilting his head the other way fails to produce an epiphany, Senri admits defeat.]
No...
no subject
Okay okay! I'll help you learn the internet at least, c'mere.
[And he'll grab the boy's hand to drag him inside.]
no subject
Senri is surprised, but doesn't resist being dragged to... wherever. It must be something important, so who is he to argue?]
no subject
Okay! So this is the internet! You can use it to search for all kinds of things, using this box.
[A click into the search bar.]
Go ahead! Type something in, like this.
[He demonstrates typing on the keyboard and then backspaces so it's blank for Senri.]
no subject
After a moment, he very hesitant pushes several buttons.
djsjjsa
Then looks questioningly up at Killua. Was that right?
There may be a deeper problem than just unfamiliarity with technology...]
no subject
Oh.
[His voice is deadpan, but not necessarily unkind, as he pinches the bridge of his nose.]
Let me make a guess... Can you read?
no subject
He's not likely to understand the internet any time soon. Not that it bothers him. Senri has never thought of reading as terribly necessary in the first place.]
no subject
Ah well! We did the best we could, then. I guess going door to door is the easiest way, huh?
no subject
no subject
I'll see what I can find, but I guess you should keep looking. Sorry I couldn't help more.
no subject
He smiles and gives a little nod before he stands up. It's okay. The fact that he wanted to help is more than enough. Senri appreciates it.]
no subject
... Who?
[You probably won't have any luck here, if that answer is any indication. At the very least, the shinki follows it up with a sort of proper introduction.] I'm Alluka! Who are you?
no subject
[So Roxas isn't here either. Senri is starting to wonder if he'll ever find his god. Did something happen to him? Had he simply left Senri behind for some reason?
He doesn't bother to hide the disappointment on his face, but he'll answer the little girl's question anyway.]
Senri.

[Confusion is replaced quickly with enthusiasm, it's always fun meeting new people!]
If it's someone you're looking for, maybe I can help? [It's no guarantee, but,] It's easier to find things if more people are looking.
no subject
Thanks...
no subject
You're welcome! [Okay! They can get to work now.] Roxas, right? What is Roxas like? [But, hm, this guy seems like a man of few words, so maybe a little extra prompting is in order.] Really big, or maybe shorter?
[That's probably... not the best first measure of appearance, but it's a start?]

( Freyja appears with a look of confusion. After all, she does not know many here and this is an unfamiliar face. He mentions an unfamiliar name as well. She still tries to think back, trying to remember if she might have heard the name in passing before frowning and shaking her head. )
Sorry, I don't know that name. It's just Nightshade and myself here.
no subject
Next temple...?
[Is it that way?]
no subject
Um... maybe! I'm still very new so I don't my way around quite yet...
no subject
It can be tough learning your way around.]
no subject
Maybe I can help you in some other way? Two people can cover twice as much ground!
