For some time, he was completely content just playing with a stick that floated on the water, the large feline getting out of the water and hopping back into it a few more times before ending up underneath the waterfall and letting out what sounded something like a pleased rumble.

He hadn't really noticed anyone watching him up until he stepped out of the waterfall and shook himself off somewhat. It was Joseph he spotted, and immediately Dio's mind went to Hermit Purple. Had he come looking for him...?! And then he saw...!!!

Dio flattened his ears as he looked at Joseph, letting out a snarling roar. It was just the first noise to come to mind, despite his usual go-to. After that, he pounced after Joseph. As ferocious as he might look, he didn't have any harm in mind, but he certainly wanted to scare Joseph... and maybe drag him into the water as well.
