[ Aqua's out and about for the most part. There's a lot to look at, to see, and to do. While most of the time she's just browsing or keeping to herself, if someone needs help, she's absolutely there. Having trouble carrying bags? Trying to decide on an ice cream flavor or a meal? Not sure what ingredient would go best in your next dish? Aqua's absolutely there to help.

Alternately, she might need some help of her own. Some of these things, she's not heard of, especially where things like coffee are concerned. She does enjoy the cat café in particular, because the cats are so precious... but she's probably having trouble deciding on what to get. ]

[ Aqua hadn't expected to find an ice cream shop that carried such familiar ice creams. It's kind of jarring, especially considering she doesn't remember the last time she'd had the stuff. Things had changed so abruptly, she hadn't gotten the chance to return to Disney Town and have one last ice cream. And she certainly hadn't ever had the chance to share some with Terra and Ventus...

Funny, that something as simple as ice cream should move her in a way she hadn't expected. She has a cone of Royal Berry ice cream in her hands, and she's sitting outside the ice cream shop. There's an ache in her heart as she slowly works on eating it—and it shows pretty obviously on her face. ]

[The ice cream adventure was just something to learn more about this world. A learning experience in how people interacted, it wasn't because he was curious about these treats and he certainly wasn't drawn to the bunny one due to the closest thing to birch syrup...

Ok, that was bullshit.

At least when he ordered, the workers didn't blink an eye and he certainly didn't look out of place. As he exits, he can't help but notice the young woman sitting outside-and her expression on her face didn't seem to be a happy one. Or is she in thought? Hmmm, asking if something was wrong may startle her but she does have an ice cream like his. Almost.]

Do you visit this shop often?

[As he asks, there's a bit of a smile on his face. He's not Sora levels of smiling but maybe it will help the woman?]

[ His voice gets her to look up, at least. Aqua gives him a quiet smile, and she turns the cone in her hand. Mostly, she's just lost in her memories and thoughts. ]

It's my first time here. I had no idea this place was here. [ Her smile becomes more thoughtful. ] One of the places I visited, back home, had ice cream exactly like this.

[ She's seen the ads—a clothing commissioner? While she's attached to her outfit, it's honestly pretty darn beat up. Aqua hasn't really spent much time concerned with her wardrobe, but here, she thinks she can spare a thought or several to her appearance. She's still unsure about the flashier stuff, so she'd like to opt for something simpler. It probably won't be much of an issue, since the owner seems incredibly talented.

So she's fiddling with her device, and when she finally gets a moment to sit down, she sends him a message. ]

Hello. My name is Aqua. Are you still taking requests for clothing?

Yes, of course! Was there something in particular you had in mind?

Something simple that resembles this, if at all possible.

[ And she'll send him a picture of her outfit! ]

[ To those who know her—which, here, that number is very low—it's not surprising to see Aqua in a library. She's always been a good student, and her love for books sort of blossomed from that. She finds comfort in being surrounded by books, and especially after all she's been through, she certainly needs it. Granted, Aqua has had a little bit of time to recover, to recuperate, but it hasn't been that long since she escaped the realm of darkness. And the memory of her battles before that are still painfully fresh in her mind...

Still, she looks pretty at ease, here in the library, with a bunch of books stacked in her arms. She's so caught up in finding more that she doesn't notice him until she almost runs into him. Aqua's appropriately startled, and she gives him an apologetic smile. ]

Oh, I'm so sorry. I'm usually more observant than this.

Natsuru

[ A lot of the technology here, Aqua isn't familiar with. Nor is she familiar with a lot of the music. She's the type to want to branch out, though, which is why she's browsing in a music store in the Near Shore. There are a lot of options that she's not even sure where to start, and that results in her browsing slowly and carefully through all the different genres. Aqua seems to be having some trouble deciding on what she likes the most... but the pop music isn't so bad! She seems to be spending quite a bit of time there, actually. ]

[Natsuru's experiencing a weird kind of reverse of that. She has no memory of her life before arriving here, and yet so much of the Near Shore is oddly familiar to her. She's not even sure why she felt drawn to the music store in the first place.

While browsing through the pop section, she finds herself focusing in on a certain image in the artists she looks at. The female idols don't exactly look familiar, but there's something about the style...

While turning, with a recent idol group CD in her hand, she bumps into the other woman nearby.]

Oh! E-Excuse me...

[Tall and fashionably dressed as she is, any image of confidence is ruined by her nervous, embarrassed smile and the light blush coloring her cheeks.]

[ Whoops. Aqua's first instinct? ]

Are you alright?

[ Natsuru might have bumped into her, but Aqua's definitely the worrisome type. She won't lie, the other woman is pretty, but she seems... uncomfortable? Shy? Definitely shy. ]

[ Honestly, Aqua doesn't think her temple is much to look at. Which is why, when she comes across the mansion nestled in the woods, she's caught breathless. It's pretty and quaint, and it reminds her of Snow White's world, in a way. Parts of it, anyway. Needless to say, Aqua's impressed, and she absolutely wouldn't mind spending a little bit of time here. Then again... this is someone's home, isn't it? She's intruding...

She's just about to leave when a silver deer approaches her and nuzzles against her. ]

Hello there.

[Roxas loves his temple. Sora said it suited him, and he has to agree.

It's his dogs that guard the temple that alerted him to a new person on the grounds. They didn't seem agitated so he walks out of his home and just stops.]

Aqua....?

[She... She's really here...]

[ That voice.

The moment she sees him, she almost stops breathing. Ventus? Ventus, here? It... no, it can't be. Ventus is supposed to be home--no, not home. She'd transformed their home into that castle. She'd left him to sleep, to be safe, until she'd be able to go back to him and bring him back...

But that voice. That face. Aqua brings a hand to her mouth, and her eyes are wide. They sting with tears, and it's becoming increasingly more difficult not to completely fall apart. ]

Ventus?

[ Often, Aqua likes to spend her time walking around. Her shinki, as helpful as it is, isn't very excellent conversation. Oh, she's tried, because of course she has, but it's just not the same. There's something important missing, it seems, and it's equal parts unsettling and... sad. Very sad, quite honestly. Aqua doesn't know what she can do for her shinki, but she's quickly running out of ideas.

It's on her long walks that she thinks about what to do. They're usually later in the evening, her strolls, and she doesn't really see many familiar people. Except for tonight. Aqua stops as soon as she sees the hair, and, well. He looks familiar, somehow. Older, with a scar cut into the center of his face (and those golden eyes... it makes her remember another, one whose thirst for power had dragged him deep into madness), but she swears she's seen him in Radiant Garden before...

It would be rude to not greet someone she's passed by. So Aqua raises a hand, her head tilted to the side just slightly. ]

Hello.

[It takes a moment for him to realize that she's talking to him. He was lost in a rather troubling thought when she'd piped up. Saïx makes eye contact and nods.]

Hello. [A pause.] Sorry for the delay, I didn't realize you were speaking to me.

[ She waves off the apology with a shake of her head. ]

It's alright. Is something troubling you?

Sora

[ It's pretty startling just how used to odd creatures Aqua is. At least, it might be startling and odd for people who don't come from her world, and those she's visited. Unversed, Heartless... they're old hat for her. Honestly, she's just thankful none of those have shown up here. It's a refreshing change of pace, but Aqua's a little restless. Things have been pretty quiet ever since she arrived, and— ]

Ah!

[ There's a chubby little... dog? Cat? That she very nearly trips over on her way back to her temple. To get there, she has to pass by Baldr's temple, which is what she's doing right now. Does it belong to this god? Aqua kneels down and holds out a hand. ]

Are you lost? Or is this your home?

[Luckily for Aqua if she had tripped over him Wanwan would have just rolled over like a toppled toy and stayed that way on his back.

Instead he barks at her in alarm but quickly wiggles his butt and sniffs the offered hand.

Immediately pleased, the dream eater puts his paw in her hand and boofs as if saying nice to meet you!]

[ Oh, no, he's so cute. Aqua lets out a quiet laugh and shakes his paw. ]

Hello there. You're very friendly, aren't you?

[ With her other hand, she scratches behind his right ear. ]

[Well, Lilka definitely was having a problem, but it wasn't quite something as simple as eating ice cream or retrieving ingredients for dinner. Since she was still fairly new, it seemed like a good idea to wander around and get used to her surroundings, but...]

Um, excuse me? I think I'm lost.

[ Uh oh. Aqua still isn't terribly familiar with this place, but she at least knows the major hangouts and such. ]

Do you need help finding a certain place?

[This person answered her right away! It was really frustrating trying to get directions when she had to keep drawing their attention. But anyway.]

Yeah! I was just trying to find one of Tsuzu--um, Tajimamori's--shrines so I can go home. I tried retracing my steps, but I just ended up walking around and around in circles... Silly, right?

[Schuldig watches her for a little bit because he caught a stray dark thought and finally pinned it down to her. Then there she goes being particularly helpful to people... and oh look at this, she's a God. Not just any God, but a fellow Norse. Hah! What were the odds...

From a distance, he decides to call out, sitting in a bakery around the corner, further away than she can see while in the Cat Café.]

'Heimdallr, is it? Nice to finally meet you. I see some things really do change.'

[It's his natural voice in her head, but the moment she starts to realize he's nowhere in sight, he'll be relishing her confusion.]

[ Sure enough, Aqua looks around for the source of the voice. Curiosity is quick to turn into confusion, then suspicion. She's immediately on the defensive; whatever is happening here, she's certain she doesn't like it. ]

[ All of those things are pleasant for him. He gets pretty excited when he dangles people like this. One of his great joys about his powers. ]

'I'm surprised you don't already know, to be honest. A little hurt, even!'
