I Put a Spell On You [open]
Who: Leo and whoever!
What: Two options: Leo working with his tome Brynhildr or Leo being exhausted in his temple.
Where: Odin's temple
When: May 11th
Warnings: None at the moment
Option One
[Leo couldn't believe it. He'd woken up this morning, expecting nothing in particular to be different, and instead found Brynhildr in his kitchen cupboard. How it got there was beyond him, but frankly? He didn't care. He missed having his tome handy, able to do something when his shinki were otherwise occupied.
And maybe it was a bit of a security blanket. So what?
Either way, he's out in the front of his temple today, making everything levitate or randomly growing (and dismissing) trees out of the ground while he practices to make sure he hasn't lost his touch. If you've seen his god power, it almost looks like he's using that except there's a distinct dark purple smoke around everything that's levitating.
Leo is also smiling. He so rarely smiles here.]
Option Two
[Later that day, Leo is considerably less happy. He'd taken a moment to check his phone to see if he'd forgotten anything important...and was hit by how crazy things are right now. Sora's annoyed at him, Saix and Niles are...Saix and Niles, he's still trying to learn more Japanese, the books he wants never seem to be available, and on top of that he's getting a headache that doesn't seem to want to leave. It was gone earlier today, but now it's back.
He can be found in his temple, either scribbling notes in his notebook on what he's reading or massaging his temples in an attempt to stave off the headache]

[He just shakes his head a bit.]
A temple to the god of relaxation maybe?
[He laughs to show he's just joking.]
no subject
Not mine. My role is a god of...a lot of things, to be honest, most mostly knowledge and magic.
[Which is so fitting]
The hot springs are just a nice addition. Still wish I knew how they got there, but I won't complain.
no subject
Might just be time for a new alias...]
Knowledge and magic - so that plus the book is how you were just...
[He wiggles his fingers in a horizontal fashion.]
Or you can do that without this book of yours and I interrupted some light reading?
no subject
[He pockets his tome and promptly extends his power as Odin to crush some of the rocks in his gravity field]
I don't need it to do damage.
no subject
A combo of abilities. Very impressive.
[He starts guessing in his mind: Tir? Isis? Minerva? Enki?]
Ah, I guess you never know around here -- I've been thinking Brynhildr's just a book, but with a proper name like that, would that be a Shinki name instead?
no subject
He also feels no need to introduce himself this time, still on edge]
No, this is a regular tome. If it suddenly turned into a human, I would be very concerned. Besides, shinki names follow a pattern from my understanding.
no subject
Ah, I meant the true name, but you're right a name breaking the pattern would be strange too.
[He hadn't even thought about posing as a shinki. That would be a good cover too. If it ever comes up.
He almost brings up libraries and then remembers the last time he was in a library he got crushed and shoved out of someone's mind. Not a good memory to keep a straight face.]
I suppose I shouldn't keep distracting you from your work, then.
no subject
[That is the look of a man who is mildly bored because seriously did you not figure that part out? Everyone figures that part out.]
Very well. [And then, because just in case this guy wasn't the problem] Oh, and be careful. I felt something strange shortly before you arrived. It was most likely nothing, but with the ayakashi attack early better safe than sorry.
no subject
Then he allows himself to look concerned. A new topic he's definitely interested in.]
Ayakashi attack... which one are you referring to? It seems there's been several very recently.

I remembered the date well because it was only 3 days after the picnic. I can sincerely agree with that, though - some people take warnings as invitations.
[Depending on the circumstances, he could in fact be one of them.]
But then there were all of the ayakashi last week at the school. That was the other incident I was thinking of.

[He was working]
Even more reasons to be wary of strange sensations.
no subject
You're too kind.
[He gives a little two-fingered salute from the top of his sunglasses and pulls them back down over his head.]
Maybe I'll stop by again sometime, see if the hot springs have expanded to a full resort. You really could charge admission for that thing, by the way. It's big business in Japan.
no subject
[Leo pulls his tome out to get back to practice.]
Wrap
Because anyone who's a blank spot on his radar is surely going to end up a threat at some point. He's said the same thing about Amaterasu.]
