[Today has been planned for a while now, a cute little reminder on their calendar labeled in English. There's a handful of other little things filled in on this calendar, but today is the day Jae-Ha feels like he can walk up to it and circle the date for emphasis. After standing back to admire this for another moment or two, he places his hands on his hips and looks to the side.]

Are you ready yet, dear? [He probably got dressed early, himself... In modern clothes! He's a little eager, even if he won't say it aloud. (Just a little.)

It's just been such a nice and lovely past few days. No interruptions, nothing bad... He knows whatever brings in the new faces will be coming up soon, so it's best to make the most of their good time and enjoy it, before that comes along.]

[It really has been nice, these past couple days, with nothing descending from the sky to make their lives much more frustrating than usual. No crises, no ridiculous problems among the living... It's almost like the normal life Hazel would rather they had together has finally become a reality.

But he's not going to let date day be bittersweet, so!! He's just about ready, and will be after pausing for a moment to watch Jae-Ha do this silly calendar thing.]

Sure am. I hope this thing's all it's cracked up to be on the internet. [The Internet says Hazel, the old man, who learned faster than Jae-Ha not to believe everything he reads online.]

[Hey...]

Don't worry. I've looked into this thoroughly, so it should be a real treat. [He looked at more than one website! He's very serious about his research here, he wanted this to be just right. So, he'll stay calm and hope Hazel being skeptical or cautious just means he'll be blown away when the place ends up amazing.

Stepping over to him, he easily links their arms together, smiling as he ducks a little.] Do you remember where it is?

[Teleporting close to it seems a lot easier than jumping around, as much as he loves it.]

[Ooh, research. Hazel remembers the Several websites waved in his face during this frantic googling, it's fine. He'll trust in Jae-Ha's date planning skills.

But hmm, the location... He doesn't remember the address exactly, but-] I can get us to the general area, more or less. We've got some time to walk around, anyway.

[Ready????]

That works just fine. Let's go, then.

[So, they can teleport... and once they do, he'll take a quick glance around and then gently lead Hazel in the right direction. Despite all of his eagerness, there's no hurry to how he walks. They're out and together, so that's just fine.]

You look even more stunning today than usual. [What a ham, but he's using this moment to shift their linked arms so they can hold hands, instead.] If all else fails, I can watch you instead of the stars.

[Can you tell he is in a good mood??]

[This dork, good gracious. He's so sweet, Hazel won't be able to focus on the mysterious fake stars at all. If they just stare at each other the whole time, is it worth paying for the ticket...?

Yes, definitely. He squeezes Jae-Ha's hand, gesturing to himself with the other. Yes, he's gorgeous, thank you.]

What a gentleman, layin' on the flattery like this. I'm gonna swoon before we even get to the main event.

That's not such a bad thing.

[He laughs, squeezing his hand and bumping their shoulders together before he looks forward. It's nice, even just like this, it's nice...!! He doesn't dare comment on how nice it is for fear of ruining it somehow. But he's still going to pleasantly hum the tune of that song he wrote a little ways back...

He's out of control.]

[That's so gay... Hazel leans a little against him as they walk, more slowly; he really likes that gay song, ugh.]

Are ya gonna catch me if I've suddenly gotta faint? I'll miss the whole thing.

I'm not the kind of man who would simply let someone fall. [Of course he would, please. It would be straight out of a movie, if he knew what movies were except for Robin Hood.]

But don't go doing that. It would be a shame for you to miss this.

[Just have someone film the shoujo catch, that'd be great??]

Then you're gonna have to control yourself, or I won't be held accountable for my actions. [bring him his smelling salts] I'm lookin' forward to the light show, don't worry about that.

[That would be great, maybe they can hire someone.

For now, he chuckles, bringing his free hand to cover his mouth as he walks.] You're stunned by me? I'll try to hold back all that I can before we get there. Maybe I should even stop holding your hand...

[He jokes, of course.]

Always. [gay... he lifts their hands to shake them a little.] But I'm afraid I'm keepin' this all to myself. It's no proper date if we're a foot apart the whole time.

[What a great answer. He squeezes his own hand tighter around Hazel's, smiling softly as he does.]

I agree. [So, he can keep that.] Ah, there it is! Just up ahead. Even from the outside, it's such a unique shape...

[Cool, right?? He hopes so.]

[Good, this is his now. He's like 12 today, it's fine.

Anyway, that's a weird looking building?? He's intrigued.]

It's somethin' else, that's for sure. What's this show meant to be about, besides lookin' at stars?

[You can look at stars outside in the real world, he's kind of confused about this concept still.]

If I tell you what to expect entirely, it won't be as enjoyable for you. Come on.

[He can see this amazing show and see for himself why it's cool!! Jae-Ha may have secretly watched a youtube video or two to be sure it was cool. Anyway, he leads them inside so they can start this Star Party.]

[Hazel is too old for surprises!! He makes a face and maybe half-mumbles some kind of protest as they head inside, but he's not really serious... He's just a baby who likes to know everything well in advance.

But alright, they can head inside and deal with paying for admission and find some seats, at which point Hazel spends several minutes adjusting the seat. How can he sit here and lean back when he is so small... He'll get it.]

That thing in the middle looks like it'll take off for the stars itself, any minute now, don't it? [That space machine????]

It does, doesn't it?

[Jae-Ha is also an old man, so he can appreciate comments like this genuinely. He leans a little closer to Hazel, pointing up at the big dome.] All of it looks so different. It's cooler than even those bladeless fans.

[churchbelle]

[BLADELESS FANS............ Hazel looks up at the big dome, but spares Jae-Ha a glance anyway. Fans...] If I buy ya a bladeless fan, will ya quit bringin' it up all the time?

[two old men go to the planetarium and talk about fans, amazing]

I think that would only have me speaking about them more, at least at first.

[They're cool?? Not just literally. Anyway, focus on the cool dome!! There are going to be stars there!]

But my focus will be on the stars! I promise it will be beautiful.

[Bladeless fans are a curse!! But okay, okay, he's focusing on the dome. Soon...]

I hope so. [this was surprisingly expensive,] But if it's startin' to drag, we can cut out in the middle and find somethin' more interestin' to do.

[razzledazzles]

[Jae-Ha is pretty confident that this will be fun, but it's nice to have a backup plan. Like leaving, finding something else, or... He leans a little closer now, trying to encourage him to allow a little kiss pre-show here.]

Or we could even find something more interesting to do here.

[This is probably the cue for the show to start with a bang,]

[Here is probably past the limit of private-in-public Hazel will go for, considering it's not really private at all, even when the lights dim to near-darkness. They're in a row of seats?? What if someone tripped over them, jesus.

But he's leaning in for a kiss anyway, and might be about to say something when the show quite literally starts with a bang, and he nearly jumps out of his seat instead. What????] What's it doin'? What's broken?

[Nothing is broken... the show's voiceover will start in a couple seconds, talking about The Universe and all those other things these two old people do not understand.]

[Look, he just meant innocently making out, because that never goes anywhere. But okay, that big sound startles Jae-Ha, too, who flinches back and blinks up as the show starts.]

...It was part of the show. [A great observation. He may not understand any of this, but he can still admire the pictures!! After he recovers from his heart attack. He puts his free hand over his chest, shoulders sinking a little.] I wasn't expecting something so startling.

[churchbelle]

[Never in history have they taken making out further, that's so true. Verifiable.]

The dang show's gonna give someone a complex, doin' that. [He frowns up at the picture coming to life above, as he calms down from the literal Big Bang. Why...!!] I feel like I gained ten years from that.

[razzledazzles]

[Totally!! Also, shit, if the Big Bang ruined his date, he's going to be so mad. Hopefully there aren't any other loud explosions. Good thing their whispering isn't heard by others since they're essentially invisible.]

Maybe they only wanted to show off the sound that this can produce? It was impressive... This man speaking has a much more soothing voice, so I doubt he will startle us. [Voiceover man seems trustworthy.]

[churchbelle]

[It's not ruined, he just feels older than ever before now. That's fine... He reaches for Jae-Ha's hand again anyway, plucking at his sleeve in the dark until he can hold it. Hello.]

Maybe not. [He'll trust in this voice!! But after a few minutes of Science, he leans over to mutter again.] I don't understand a single thing he's talkin' about.

[The lights are pretty, but what the hell??]
