[If Axel doesn't remember his time from here before, he's not going to bring it up. What good does it do? He barely knew the guy then and things hadn't ended well for him. Why pile that on top of him his first day here? It wouldn't accomplish anything.]
So that makes you one of the gods here. [A pause.] Shinki, like myself, don't remember our lives before we arrived. Having a fresh start is nice, if frustrating at times. I can never know what I'm getting a fresh start from, as finding out about my past can literally turn me into a monster - an ayakashi. However, I've been here a month now and I still haven't stumbled across my favorite food or figured out what things I like to do other than go on walks and look at the night sky. I did discover I like dogs. But that's still hardly anything. I should have more than two interests, but I don't know where to start in figuring them out.
[He tosses the box into the dumpster when they reach it. Saïx hadn't realized how frustrated he was with the whole memory loss aspect until he said all of that. There was a comfort in talking to Axel about it. He could talk to someone he knew with the added perk of them also being a stranger.]
Apologies, you don't even know me and here I am rambling on about the trivial hardships of being resurrected without your memories without introducing myself. I'm Saïx.
