Summary: It's time to get rid of the mess that that demon made!



The attack by the demon recently has left the surrounding area in a very sorry state. Not only are some people still hospitalized or slowly recovering from the affects of the draining of their life force, but a lot of nasty accidents happened during the time that people were walking around like they were dead to the world. It's been attributed to an odd natural disaster, and many think it may have been an illness that caused it.

The Heavens have decided to send any available gods and shinki down to help out in the relief efforts. If they try hard enough, they should be easily seen for the times when they are helping people out, so it shouldn't be a problem.

On top of that, some new arrivals have suddenly appeared. Amaterasu has left them little handwritten notes pinned to their shirts:

'These people need your help! I'm sorry to throw you into things like this, but please do what you can.

☼ Amaterasu ☼'

And yes, she has doodled little suns next to her name.



Care

There are a lot of people who were left hurt because of the incident with the demon and they are still trying to recover from it. From broken bones all the way to mental trauma, these people have seen a lot of crazy stuff and they aren't feeling so hot. Any kind of care is viable, but you might also want to just be an errand-runner in order to help the qualified people who are already doing a pretty good job of helping these poor folks out.

Food

A fair number of homes and stores managed to get destroyed amidst everything going on with the demon, so there's a lot of work for the neighborhood to do in helping them out. Whether by helping to rebuild what has been broken or by just handing out some free food to the people who need it. Of course, you might also take some food for yourself. Hopefully you're not a horrible enough person to just steal from the homeless~

Literal Cleaning

And here's where the fun comes in. The buildings that need to be rebuilt and the streets that need to be cleaned up are all under works and you can help in any way you deem worthy. You might carry loads or actually put forth the effort to help rebuild some lost homes, it's up to you. Of course, if you set about helping out in this way, you might notice little fairy-like spirits flitting around each of the Near Shore residents who are working hard to help each other out. The little spirits shine brightly and seem to shy away if approached, but they titter happily anytime the person they're following does something nice.

Banquet

After the day is done, the Heavens have a special treat set up for anyone who helped out - a large banquet in the Meeting Hall back on the Far Shore. Just like any other banquet, there is food and booze of every kind available. But also, the small tittering bright white spirits are in attendance, following around any Far Shore resident who helped out today. You might find yourself with a new friend or two who won't leave you alone, who keep giggling anytime you're kind, and who don't seem to be able to talk and only exude delight and good feelings.



In Summary:

• Help out the people affected by the demon
• Give out food to people who need it
• Clean up the messes
• Eat some good food, drink some good booze
• Have fun~

[Sheryl really is confident, Goten can't help but smile up at her, giggling a bit. But her confidence seems to be well placed just by the amount of happy no-longer hungry faces around the table. She is very giving. Goten knows that first hand.]

I won't get hurt. It's not fair to not even let me try. I can do stuff too!

[He pouts, wiggling his feet so they bump together in front of him. He just wants to help. He knows he can, its just a matter of adults letting him or not. Though Sheryl's offer makes him blink and look back up to her. Handing out food wasn't like building a house or anything but he wasn't really doing anything now. He wanted to help. It would be even better if he could help someone like Sheryl too after how nice we was to him.

It doesn't take much thought before Goten gives a nod. He shifts and crawls out from under the table before standing up. He pats his hands on his gi to get rid of any dirt before smiling up at her]

Okay! Just tell me what to do.

[galactically]

But if you try to do too many things at once, then it's no good.

[Sheryl wags a finger at Goten with a mock stern tone attached to her voice. Of course, this is coming from a woman who does the same thing occasionally. Hypocrisy, thy name is Sheryl Nome, though admittedly it comes from a place of concern. A workaholic pop star is different from a child with super strength in terms of mentality.

But she knows the urge to help out and do something when she discovers it. Goten is so earnest about it that Sheryl can't deny it.

She gives him a lookover, then folds her arms across her chest.]

All right. Before you help, you need to wash your hands first! Then come back and share these— [points at the platter of random food] — with the starving residents. Got it?

[sonofson]

[He blinks up at her when she wags his finger at him. It feels kinda fimilar but that doesn't keep him from giving her a pout. Difference in mentality aside, that pot is calling the kettle black here. B

Goten wants to do his best at just about everything he does. Helping people is really high on the list along with proving himself. Though when she tells him to wash his hands, he holds them out, palms flat and blinks. They look fine to him. She is letting him help so he can't really agure with her despite thinking they're clean enough.]

Got it!

[He nods and dashes off with his arms out. Gotta clean up fast and get back. It takes a bit longer then he'd liked, mostly because he had to find somewhere to wash his hands but he's back not a moment later and runs up to Sheryl. He grins and presents his now cleans hands up to her for approval]

There! How's that.

[He's still filthy but the hands are clean~!]

[galactically]

[Even the way Goten dashes off with his arms out is cute to Sheryl, just enough for a small laugh out of her as she waits. Not that the wait will be too long when his running is super fast, anyway. Eventually she watches him return and present his freshly washed hands up.

Here, you now have a pop idol leaning over with her brows scrunched up together as she inspects those tiny hands, first his left then his right.]

Hmm...

[A shame that there aren't any extra clothes to spare for Goten — if it were up to her, she'd make sure he's spotless — but it'll have to do.

So she nods and leans back, nodding in approval with her hands on her hips.]

That'll do, Goten. That'll do. Now time to get to work!

[sonofson]

[Goten blinks when she leans over and inspects his held out hands. There's a moment where he starts to wonder if maybe he didn't clean them well enough judging by the look she gives. Don't send him to go re-wash them! He can't do any better then this!

But it's when she gives her word of approval that he perks up and thrusts his his clean fist into the air in excitement.]

Yeah! Thank you Sheryl! I won't let you down, I promise!

[He quickly zips over to grab the tray of sandwiches and proceeds to jog around offering them to anybody and everybody he finds. Doesn't matter who they are or what sort of mood they're in. He only returns to grin at Sheryl and grab another tray once the one he uses is empty.

Goten goes about, holding the tray over his head so they can take one with ease. They don't take much to give away but he does make the deal better by telling various people how amazing and tasty they are and points over in Sheryl's direction to tell them that she made them. How could they not want free amazing food from a nice person?]

[galactically]

[Goten's excitement evokes a sense of happiness within Sheryl that she grins at the sight of him pumping his into the air. He's so gung-ho about helping her, it's hard not to feel extra confident, too. It's that infectious.

She gives him a thumbs up.]

Go forth and unleash your service upon everyone! You can do it!

[From her position behind the table, she watches Goten jog around with the tray of sandwiches, pleased with what's unfolding before her very eyes. Whenever he points over at her direction as he advertises her food, she flashes a charming smile at the people, waving gracefully because she has to make herself look good in front of the masses

And in her best chipper saleswoman voice:]

Hi~! I hope you enjoy my specialty sandwiches! No one will go hungry when I'm around.

[It's thanks to Goten that her load is getting smaller and smaller, which means she's gained the help she truly needs.]

[It's only when every sandwiches are all gone from the trays does he return to get another and so on. It's after the fifth or so that he sets the empty tray on the table and look up at her. But he won't stop until Sheryl stops too.]

Everyone really likes your food, Sheryl! I knewe that would happen but it's still great to see.

[He beams up at her, clearly pleased. It's not the way he planned to help out the town but it's effective! What's better then free food!]

[galactically]

[The moment the crowd starts to scatter around is when Sheryl finally slumps in her seat, resting her forehead against her arms on the table. All this standing up and walking around for the sole purpose of advertising her sandwiches is wiping her out a bit... nevermind that she still has some leftover energy, though she'd rather store it just in case.

Her head lifts up a bit as she watches Goten look up at her, and she manages a chuckle. He also knows how to cheer her up, too.]

Of course they do. I made them, didn't I?

[Not that she had any doubts, but it's nice to hear it being confirmed.]
