[ There's a large dog staring at him curiously as he tilts his head to the side. Somehow he hardly has any recollection of what happened. He's standing in front of the temple confused and lost about why he ended up here. He didn't see anyone he knew and to top it off, the weather isn't really helping. It was summer and a bit too extreme for a sickly preteen.

He's sweating from the collar of his shirt as he hazily stares at the large dog that seemed to be gazing at him in recognition but he had no idea why the large dog seemed-- well interested in him. Needless to say he made no actual effort to run from it. Perhaps someone should tell Ichiru large three headed dogs are dangerous. ]

[ Under the Pomegranate tree Ichiru was silently sleeping. He had lost track of the time and where Zero had gone. He just knew that his "brother" said for him to wait here and that's what he did. However it might not be the best idea to wait here on his own, since his face was partially flushed and his body's constitution seemed to have gotten worse today than it was yesterday.

He really didn't understand why he was like this and it made him upset that he couldn't do what he could with his body so he bit the inside of his mouth and furrowed his brows. ]

[ For anyone who really wanted to talk to Ichiru after the event, they probably should approach with caution since he's not in the best of moods. His mind is a confusing mess. He didn't seem like he was okay with whatever happened at all. In fact, he might be more than a bit upset with how vulnerable and out there he seemed to be.

His normally guarded self had no meaning in this situation. There were bits of information he also recalled as a child-- though most were a huge blur that he couldn't properly place them on the timeline. ]

[ At some point, Ichiru thought that he would finally be left alone. He's a little surprised that the girl came back with soaked cloth she tore on his forehead. She looked like she had traversed quite a distance just to do that for him.

He's a bit perplexed because he didn't know how to react to this. ]

Yes...thank you.

[ Was all he could muster through his slight delusion. The wet cloth felt really comfortable to him. ]

[Chinatsu nods back. She's not sure what else she can do for him though..]

Why are you out here all alone if you're sick?

[ There's really nothing she could do for him at this point. His body was that way because of something he couldn't recall. There were no known medicines that would help him. ]

I'm waiting for someone. He's trying to lure a three headed dog away from us.

[ He replies softly. ]

I can't run very far so I was told to wait here.

[ Except that's a lie because he did leave where he was supposed to be. That's why he's out here exhausted. ]

[Did he just say a three-headed dog? She hopes the guy leads it far enough.]

Huh...I see.

[Picking herself up from the ground, Chinatsu starts climbing up the tree. After a few minutes of rustling through the branches, she drops back down to the ground, some pomegranates tucked in her arm.

She sits down again, making herself comfortable next to him.]

...Got a knife on you?

[ He did say a three headed dog. From what Ichiru noticed, it seemed rather harmless. So he couldn't say that the dog would hurt them if it ever encountered him. However, Ichiru was a strange child and didn't find these things to be scary at all. ]

[ She climbed the tree easily, he seemed almost envious as he watched her go up and then down again. He shakes his head. ]

I don't have one. I don't know this world very well.

Oh...

[Well, she could try with her bare hands]

Are you new here too? I just got here recently. Are you also a shinki?

[ he's not very helpful on that part and he knows it, so he leans back into the tree as he closed his eyes. ]

I don't know. I can't remember. Perhaps I am.

[ He shakes his head. ]

It's a blur-- I can't recall.

Why can't you--hhhh!-- remember?

[She's attempting to crack the fruit open with her bare hands as she speaks, putting as much force as she can to her tiny hands]

I haven't--hnnnnng-- met mine yet--hhhrrrr- either-- AHH!

[Her efforts paid off, but at the cost of messing up her hands and her clothes. Hopefully she didn't get any on him---]

No. I don't. My memory is rather fuzzy. I would rather like to remember what my purpose is here.

[ After all, having such a weak constitution really sets him up for a lot of personal issues-- issues that he wouldn't talk about to a complete stranger. Instead, he gives her a look when he noticed that his shirt is now stained with red pomegranate seeds after the loud "SPLAT". ]

[ It takes him a moment before he chuckled slightly. What and odd girl. ]

If you are that abrasive, you won't find a boy that will like you, ne?

[ Eric was not in the mood to interact, there were all sorts of weird feelings going through his head after the past couple of days. Going from a happy go lucky kid to...that fearful, painful kid was kind of an emotional whiplash he didn't want. Especially since so many people saw him as that kid. Izumo, Nanako, Yata, Zero and...

He stops his walking as he spots someone else that saw him and his stomach flips and tightens. It doesn't look like Zero...was it Ichiru? Did he remember what happened? The apple, and wanting to be friends because they were the same? Eric tensed, he didn't want to think about it

Eric walked by, pausing enough to see that it seemed like he was going through the same thing.

'Because they were the same.' huh? ]

H-hey...

[ Ichiru turned at the sound of Eric's voice. He remembered vaguely what he had said to Eric. That line in itself didn't go away as the other turned to face him. There's a neutral expression on his face when Eric greets him.

Usually, he'd give the other some sort of dismissive response, but it seemed like there was something they needed to talk about. Of course, it's not like Ichiru recalled everything that happened during that time. The whole thing still made him feel unhappy.

There were other pressing matters but he had yet to find Zero and discuss that matter altogether. ]

Do you need something?

[ He muses giving Eric a look but he was hoping they'd not talk about what he thinks Eric might bring up. ]

[ He gives a loose shrug ]

Not really...Just came by.

[ To say hi? To ask about that time? He didn't know, but it didn't feel bad to come and talk to this guy at least. ]

Is that all? You look like you want to ask me something.

[ Honestly, if he wants to say something he can. Ichiru won't stop him but he won't make the situation better for the both of them either. ]

[ He continues to give Eric a look for his words. He's pretty sure he can gauge partially where this conversation is going and he really would rather not talk about it.

In truth, he remembered quite a lot from that time but there were indeed things that were blurs ]

[Okay, it was rude to stare, but that guy looked awfully familiar. Much bigger than she remembered, and not as sickly-looking. Actually, he had a very unapproachable aura emanating from him. Was this really the same kid? What if this was one of those awkward moments where you waved at someone you knew but turns out it's not them? Aaah, what the hell?]

[ Ichiru turns to look at her. Thankfully for her, he recognizes her briefly from his fuzzy memories and he didn't look too happy to see her. However, his expression remained unreadable so there's that. She wasn't mistaken that this almost six foot tall teenager was the little boy she ran into not too long ago. ]

What is it?

[ He muses as he turns to the girl. ]

[Wow, yeah nice to see you too.]

Ah...nothing, I was just wondering if we'd met. You looked familiar so...

[The kid was nicer though. As mucha s she'd hoped this curt guy wasn't him, getting a closer look at him now just proved otherwise.]

You're Ichiru-kun, right?

[ Sorry he's got a menacing aura and you're still approaching him. Chinatsu you have some serious guts. ]

I see.

[ He ponders for a moment before he fully recalls her. ]

That is my name and you must be that girl that was climbing the tree.

[ Not that any of of those words sounded bad-- it just came off a bit too coldly ]

[She raises a brow, taking a step closer.]

[ He mused giving her a raised brow for her comment too. To be fair, he hardly remembers half of what they talked about. Most of it was vaguely familiar while others were blanks. ]

That's what I'd like to know...you seem..off.

[Not that she knew him that well, but it was just a different feeling.]

Wouldn't you be off if you just experienced something unpleasant?

[ He retorts back to her. ]
