[It's still really weird seeing that colour change on Ren, but Shun had gotten over it at about the point he'd elected not to just close the door and walk away in abject refusal to engage when he opened it to that. Letting him leave that particular side note for later - though Shun definitely can't say he isn't curious about it - he listens in silence. He could probably say he's met more people like this one than like the wildfire metaphor, because more than one person springs to mind immediately on that description.

When Ren talks about not being able to stand having Aichi in his way, Shun's expression becomes a little closed again, another of those moments he's relating to this more than he expected to. Again, different reasons, but "in my way" had been about all it took to make an enemy of Shun not long ago.

From the look on Ren's face right now, Shun feels like there's a gap to be filled in there.]


Did he give in to it as well, or did he surpass it?
