[The thought that perhaps Viktor was just a naturally touchy-feely person -- having an explanation for the initial sense of strangeness around his behavior -- set Yuuri's nerves at ease. If that was all, then it was fine, right?]

[Yuuri picks at his food. If he's going to think about it that way, that's an awfully big thing to owe someone for. One that can never really be repayed. It's a new way of approaching the idea, for Yuuri, and a more appealing one in certain ways, but he's not at all sure about the idea of not having any control over who he takes on a debt that substantial with.]
I'm still not sure I'd be much good for things like picking fights with yakuza and so on, but I can at least see trying, in that case.
[Even if he thinks it's more than a little likely that he'd just start stammering apologies or cry or do something else embarrassing.]

[But it feels like more than that. As if he needs to have someone to follow, to protect, whose goals are his own. Chikusa, once he had learned the purpose of a shinki, had always thought that perhaps he was meant to be something like this. It made perfect sense, felt so fitting, especially in comparison to the emptiness and lost feeling that had enveloped him before Axel had claimed him.]
[There hadn't been any reason to keep going, then.]
[Yuri's commentary has him shrug a little.]
There are other prayers spoken to the gods as well... It just depends on who it is. That one was to protect the hearth, so... it was sent to my god.

[Yuuri smiles a little bit at that thought. He hopes his own god is of a similar mindset -- people pray for all sorts of things, he'd imagine, so it would be nice to have a god who'd use him to help the people who really needed it.]

I guess that would help a bit, but it's good to know all the same. It's a little unnerving, not knowing what sort of person you're going to "belong to."
[He says it casually, like it's not really that big a deal, but honestly, it's been eating him up all day.]

[Yuuri grimaces, giving the pile of swimsuits a despondent look. He'd pull another one out to prove his point, but he's genuinely a little afraid of what he'd come up with.]

You want me to look for something?
[He narrows his eyes just a tiny little bit, as if it's unthinkable that he'd have to look for a swimwear for another guy. Then he shakes his head and walks up to the swimsuits. He scans the the pile, scowling at the ridiculous colors and patterns.]
...There has to be something that looks at least somewhat acceptable.
[And he's going to actually search for something like that now.]

[He begins picking rather cautiously through the pile again, glancing over at the stranger as he does.]
I think I'd be happy to settle for "ugly, but not uncomfortable or indecent", at this point?
