Hades pomegranates seem to have a will of their own and purposely jump ship whenever he isn't looking. You may have found a stray pomegranate either by the beach, near the forest, or even better had the the courage to pick them off the two trees flanking the entrance to Hades Temple. Either way, the fruit seems to be in good shape and the seeds inside are pristine and look rather delicious. Picking up the fruit won't have any negative effects, but if you decide to eat theam... well then. You're in for a treat. You get a free night in the Underworld, free of charge! Your hosts will be the Kiryuu twins and their dog. You will be compelled to enter Hades Temple and stay the night. Only then will the compulsion leave you.


i. The Trees

One of the twins is on his way out of Hades Temple when he see's someone near the pomegranate trees and immediately goes to investigate.

"What are you doing?"


ii. Cerberus

The three-headed Hound of Hell is Hades first defense against intruders and will alert him to any and all visitors. Better hope Hades or Ichiru gets to you before Cerberus decides he wants to play. Be nice, he's still a pup the twins have a soft spot for him.

iii. Dinner Time

After Zero figures out what's happened - and after an extensive lecture about eating things off the ground or stealing fruits - Zero finally settles down and gets to work making dinner while Cerberus settles down watches in the background. You may explore your room for the night one of the twins pointed out earlier, but be aware Cerberus won’t like that and will be following you all the way. Conversely, you may decided it's better to stay by Hades side who doesn't seem to understand that a 10 ft three-headed dog made from silver rose vines is not in any way a goddamn puppy! You can help him or settle down on the dining room table.


iv. Night Explorations

Having trouble sleeping? Feel free to go exploring or try your chances at an escape. Who knows maybe the curse has worn off! Either way, Cerberus is a light sleeper and he has your scent. Hades won't be far behind once he finds out his favorite puppy is gone, and Ichiru tends to wander the hallways at night, so better hope you run across one of them before the Hellhound.

Open to any shenanigans you'd like to try so feel free to put up your own starter!


[ OOC: Characters are free to make up any symptoms for the "compulsion" to stay. For example: They can get the sudden urge to visit Hades Temple, or their feet will magically take them their without their consent. Or they might just start feeling pain the longer they ignore the compulsion. How many nights they stay is up to you! Eating three seeds can mean one night or three nights, whatever you want! ]

[ Ichiru sighs. ]

Is this how he is normally?

[ Given that Ichiru knows absolutely nothing about the other except for their uncanny appearances and the exchanges they had in the past. That was about it He's curious both on what kind of person Zero is and also Izumo who seems to know him well. ]

Since the moment I've met him.

[When he came back as a god, but Izumo doesn't want to tell Ichiru about Zero's turn as a shinki.]

I see. So you must have known him for a while now.

[ He tilts his head curiously. There's more he wants to ask but he doesn't just yet. ]

Has he said anything to you about me?

[ Because he can't help but wonder out of his own inspection. ]

No, he hasn't.

[It wasn't really a lie.

Unless you count the important bits, anyway.]

But why do you think he'd tell me anything about you? [He means no offense, but he is curious as to why Ichiru would think that.]

[ Ichiru doesn't know any of that so it's doesn't come off as a lie to him. ]

I see.

[ He muses curiously as he crosses his arms almost thoughtfully. ]

I didn't. It was a hunch from how you and Zero were talking familiarly with each other. In short, I was curious to know if you did or not.

[ His expression remains neutral as he finishes his reply. He doesn't know anyone well so he's only making judgement from his what he's seen. Perhaps, he had been wrong to ask Izumo. ]

I see.

[Slight frown, but he did make a promise to Zero not to say anything.

He'll properly apologize for whenever Zero does tell him in his own way.]

I apologize for not being able to answer your question, but whenever we talk, you're not really brought up into the conversation. If you're curious, why not ask Zero?

[ Ichiru chuckles at Izumo. ]

Cryptic, isn't he?

[ He didn't seem to surprised at least. For now, he'd drop it if Izumo said he didn't know anything. It was a hit or miss anyhow. ]

If you must know, he refuses to speak of the matter. It's not like I have not tried. He's rather tight lipped, as if he's fearing something but that's just my observation. I don't know anything about him yet, he knows me quite well.

[A small grin.]

Afraid that's just part of his character.

[A headtilt and Izumo raises an eyebrow.]

That is quite interesting. Though, him not telling you anything might be entirely for your benefit than for his own, especially since he seems to know you so well.

It seems that's the only part I know well.

[ He shrugs as he said that. Honestly, he would be lying if he said he wasn't interested. The time he spent here was starting to rub off on him for better or worse. ]

Even so, I don't like being lied to or being told what is or isn't beneficial to me.

[ He states seriously. He knows what the whole thing is implying and probably why Zero is worried about him knowing. He heard the stories, but that didn't change his mind set on the matter. ]

However, that is my own matter. I shouldn't press you on what you do not know.

[A slow blink and Izumo raises an eyebrow.

Well, this could easily be complicated.]

I hope you've been direct with Zero if that was the case.

[Because lies are all that everyone really knows, deep down.

Even so, Izumo chuckles.]

In any case, I wish you luck. Hopefully you'll find the answers you're looking for.

I don't mince my words.

[ He replied seriously. Ichiru had demanded answers from Zero the firs time around and he got nothing for it. All his other efforts had been fruitless. ]

I hope I don't need to rely on luck to get the answers I want.

[ There's a small sigh from him as he changes the pace of things. ]

You wanted to see the waterfall, ne?

[ Through their conversation and walking a waterfall comes to view as he points to it. ]

I hope the same, but you never know.

[A chuckle and Izumo finally notices the waterfall.

Definitely a picturesque scene.]

Seems like there are a lot of surprising things here in the Underworld.

I suppose not. Thank you nonetheless.

[ He offered Izumo a smile at least. ]

Indeed. It's rather peaceful here if you set aside how eerie it looks.

[ah, he got a smile.

Izumo gives a smile back before he turns to look at the waterfall.]

Are you content with staying here?

[ Quite easily when he's being a good companion right now. Ichiru turns to look at Izumo for a moment, contemplating his answer. ]

I suppose I do. Being here feels strangely peaceful. I don't quite understand why but there's something about it that feels nostalgic.

[ There's a change in his expression but he dismisses it almost instantly before chuckling. ]

I am not making much sense now am I?

[Izumo chuckles, shaking his head.]

No, but in a way, it does make sense.

[A glance at the waterfall.]

Perhaps some part of you feels like it's familiar, but your loss of memories is preventing you from realizing it.

[ It's complicated when your mind is muddled with thoughts about your own memories that you couldn't recall. Ichiru was facing such things right now and it was hard for him to really accept things as they were. At least, he could be somewhat honest about what he was thinking to someone. ]

I see. I'm glad it does.

[ He stifles another chuckle. ]

You must be reading my mind. I feel like a lot of things I've experienced as of late might have connection to the things I cannot remember.

[Izumo's happy that Ichiru feels comfortable enough to be somewhat honest.

Then again, in a way, he's in a similar boat.]

It's rather frustrating, isn't it?

[ Perhaps that was why and the other had never come across as deceitful to Ichiru yet. ]

More than I can possibly imagine. I hate that I am force to discard who I was to be who I am now.

[A slight hum.

He hopes he'll never have to lie to Ichiru; omitting the truth was one thing, but lying outright was another.]

[ As long as Ichiru doesn't know there won't be a problem. He doesn't take people lying to him very easily but that's just his personality. ]

I suppose you can. Strangely enough, I did not expect to burden you with such thoughts in the first place.

[ In which he might really take him on the offer. It seemed like this was the extent of their conversation for a moment. On the other hand, he's quite curious to how long Izumo has been here since he seemed like he was quite well versed in this world compared to Ichiru. ]
