Warnings: Ceberus is a curious puppy with three chompers.


Hades pomegranates seem to have a will of their own and purposely jump ship whenever he isn't looking. You may have found a stray pomegranate either by the beach, near the forest, or even better had the the courage to pick them off the two trees flanking the entrance to Hades Temple. Either way, the fruit seems to be in good shape and the seeds inside are pristine and look rather delicious. Picking up the fruit won't have any negative effects, but if you decide to eat theam... well then. You're in for a treat. You get a free night in the Underworld, free of charge! Your hosts will be the Kiryuu twins and their dog. You will be compelled to enter Hades Temple and stay the night. Only then will the compulsion leave you.


i. The Trees

One of the twins is on his way out of Hades Temple when he see's someone near the pomegranate trees and immediately goes to investigate.

"What are you doing?"


ii. Cerberus

The three-headed Hound of Hell is Hades first defense against intruders and will alert him to any and all visitors. Better hope Hades or Ichiru gets to you before Cerberus decides he wants to play. Be nice, he's still a pup the twins have a soft spot for him.

iii. Dinner Time

After Zero figures out what's happened - and after an extensive lecture about eating things off the ground or stealing fruits - Zero finally settles down and gets to work making dinner while Cerberus settles down watches in the background. You may explore your room for the night one of the twins pointed out earlier, but be aware Cerberus won’t like that and will be following you all the way. Conversely, you may decided it's better to stay by Hades side who doesn't seem to understand that a 10 ft three-headed dog made from silver rose vines is not in any way a goddamn puppy! You can help him or settle down on the dining room table.


iv. Night Explorations

Having trouble sleeping? Feel free to go exploring or try your chances at an escape. Who knows maybe the curse has worn off! Either way, Cerberus is a light sleeper and he has your scent. Hades won't be far behind once he finds out his favorite puppy is gone, and Ichiru tends to wander the hallways at night, so better hope you run across one of them before the Hellhound.


v. Wildcard

Open to any shenanigans you'd like to try so feel free to put up your own starter!


[ OOC: Characters are free to make up any symptoms for the "compulsion" to stay. For example: They can get the sudden urge to visit Hades Temple, or their feet will magically take them their without their consent. Or they might just start feeling pain the longer they ignore the compulsion. How many nights they stay is up to you! Eating three seeds can mean one night or three nights, whatever you want! ]

[At least Izumo knows better than to eat pomegranate seeds for next time.

It had been...a curious affair, what with Cerberus continuing to follow him whenever he moved out of sight or he didn't stick close to Hades or even Ichiru. In a way, it was nice to see them, though Izumo might've been a bit quieter than usual.

It was even nicer to have a place to stay, albeit temporary.

Unfortunately, sleep evaded Izumo that night so he's taken to go exploring the place. There's nowhere specific he has in mind and thinking of escape isn't in his thoughts either.

He just needed a breather.]

[ From behind: ]

You shouldn't wander off on your own.

[ Zero leans on a wall, his hands lazily tucked near his pockets as he watches the shinki from his position. ]

[toremainbehind]

Didn't want to bother you or Ichiru to accompany me on a late night walk.

[He flashes Zero a smile from over his shoulder.]

What're you doing up?

Ceberus is looking for you.

He catches on quick.

[And here Izumo's hoping to avoid Cerberus. While he has nothing against the pup, he still didn't want to be alone with him.

He shifts a bit so he can look at Zero better.]

Want to walk with me then?

Itachi had been exploring temples again--he walked around and just kind of... did it. He'd only gotten caught once. Again, he was where he shouldn't have been. The young shinki had decided to head off after taking a look around the old temple... before something caught his eye.

A tree. A beautiful tree, and as he stepped closer he realized these were pomegranates, and...

"...This must be... Zero-san's temple." Itachi stared at the tree, taking in its strange appearance. Should he go and say hi? He turned around to do just that, but...

He looked back to the tree. Before, everytime he got ahold of one of the forbidden fruits, Zero was always quick to snatch it back up from him. Itachi glanced around. But this time, there was no one in sight. No one...

He reached up, picking one out from the trees. He cracked it open, to see the bloom of juicy red seeds, the same color as blood. Itachi stared at them for a moment, before picking one up between his fingers.

"One couldn't hurt." Just the one. He placed it inside od his mouth, popping it with his teeth. Juice came out. It was delicious. He swallowed, licking his lips. That had been good.

...Okay, maybe one more couldn't hurt. He had plucked out another one... and another one...and another one... until the man had consumed nine of them and went for the tenth--

When he heard Zero's voice.

His head snapped back, ponytail like a whip afterwards. Caught red-handed, so to speak. Itachi glanced down at the fruit guiltily, before looking back up at Zero.

"...Hello, Zero-san." As if he hadn't been doing anything wrong.

His eyes widen when he catches sight of the fruit in his hands.

"What did you--" He's at his side within moments, snatching it away from his hands and throwing it out of sight.

"Those aren't for you eating!"

He told you!

Anger quickly fades to worry and he's looking him over, hoping against hope that he didn't actually eat any but when he finds his mouth stained with red that small bit of hope evaporates leaving him with a heavy weight on his shoulders.

"How many."

A demand.

[forsakens]

"You could be a bit gentler, Zero."

Ichiru stared down at the two of them from the top of the tree. It looks like someone was at least making his rounds at the temple. Ichiru swiftly jumps off the tree and lands next to Zero.

"I lost count after the first three. He was rather-- enjoying it."

No. Ichiru didn't try to stop Itachi from eating it either.

"Good day, Itatchi-san."

He jumped in place when Zero snatched the fruit out of his hands and tossed it to the side. He opened his mouth to answer... then Ichiru appeared from within the tree. He hadn't noticed the other in the tree. He had been watching? Like a snake watching someone eat the front from the garden of Eden.

He looked between the two men. He just now noticed that Ichiru was a little bit shorter than Zero. They were both tall, so he hadn't noticed it before.

"Ichiru-san." His voice was surprised. He looked back to Zero. "Ah... I'm not sure... I was just eating them because.. they were delicious."

"Ichiru," his displeasure is palpable in his tone. "Why did you let him eat them." 'And do nothing!' is very much implied.

And talking about eating - he locks eyes on Itachi. "How many."

iii. well sort of XD

[ Eric wasn't too happy. After getting an earful of not touching things that didn't belong to him for example, fruit, Eric realized he was staying the night in the gloomy Underworld.

At the same time Zero was making dinner...Eric was not having any of it. Instead he sort of chose to walk around, ignoring the giant dog following closely behind him. He heard the sniffing so he just figured he was new and the dog was scouting out what was going on. Especially since he wasn't near the kitchen with Zero. ]

oh boy.

You look like you could use a hand.

[ One of which Ichiru won't offer right away. However, he does see the dog and watches it curiously wondering what Cerberus will do to Eric. ]

I believe you were told to not stray too far from him.

[ Eric turns to look at the very, very similar Zero but also...not Zero. An illusion? Clone? Who knows, maybe the other enjoys wearing a wig...

As he stops, the dog does as well and snorts, not liking being stopped so suddenly. ]

Being told something and listening to that something is a bit different.

[ he's not Zero that's for sure. There was a different feel to him versus Zero. He seemed more casual and friendly if anything. ]

Cerberus seems to have found interest in you. I see. So you are reckless and possibly idiotic?

[ he chuckles at the reply. What a fun person already. He seemed very amused ]

[ It did feel less tense with this guy, but that didn't mean anything. Even casual people can harm others.

There's a small frown on his face at the accusation but it didn't really bother him. He tilts his head to look at the dog. ]

He's curious about new people, I don't mind.

[ He'll let the dog do it's thing, he wasn't bothered by it, he was invading his territory. ]

And you're a nosy loudmouth, what's your point?

[This is just Barry's kind of luck. He finds some delicious looking fruit, and the next thing he knows he's face to face with a huge three-headed dog. He's got his hands up in a defensive posture, waving them back and forth as he tries to back away from it.]

Heheh... n-nice doggy...

[ Ceberus steps forward, red eyes seemingly looking through the soul before him. He doesn't attack, not yet, but draws closer as if curious. The familiar scent of pomegranates Hades lingers on him, so the Hellhound is hesitant to attack. ]

What are you doing here?

[ A voice rises from behind Ceberus who immediately turns to face its master as Zero steps into view having been summoned by Ceberus distress. ]

[Whew, that's a relief. Barry lets out a breath as the dog's attention shifts.]

Hell if I know.

[Phrasing.]

[ Zero can sense Ceberus unease but doesn't realize that it stems from the familiar scent of pomegranates on someone other than himself. ]

....

[ And that answer does little to enlighten him. ]

You shouldn't be wandering around here alone. Who's your god?

It's not like I wanna be. I just showed up here after eatin' some of this weird fruit I found.

[Barry sighs, shaking his head.]

I'm with Mielikki. Or Euterpe. Either one works.

[ How did Mikleo end up in this predicament? Well, curiosity is the answer! The Water Seraph had found interest in the growing fruit in one of the trees and to his dismay, had attempted to eat the fruit and now he was stuck here.

What a wonderful way to start his stay in this new world. Of course, he decided it was okay for a walk around the temple because he was curious about the God himself. He initially didn't ask any questions about Zero's role and what kind of God he was. However, with that being said the poor boy was now trying his best not to lose his temper because there was a giant ten foot three headed dog stalking him.

He froze up immediately as he took a couple of steps back. ]

...Er....

[ He he clears his throat. ]

I would appreciate if you keep your distance... please.

[ He breathes slowly. ]

It would be best for us both...

[ Ceberus stalks his prey as the three mouths show teeth while they growl. ]

[ Mikleo takes a couple of more steps back. How on earth did he even end up in this predicament. ]

C'mon, I'm a guest aren't I?

[ Why did it have to be a three headed dog?! ]

[ At ten feet, Cerberus towers over the other and the vines begin to move, undulating with every step as he draws closer to sniff him more closely. ]

You smell like pomegranates.

[ Cerberus raises all three heads and leaves the shinki in favor of getting petted by Hades. ]
