[Tsuzuki brightens. A direction! He starts towards the side street immediately. It's probably not the punk clothing shop, and adult DVD rentals don't usually sell art supplies either, but he can always stick his head in and see if anybody can point them to an art shop at one of those.]

Sounds good! Let's go.

[ Genos follows and glances quickly through the street when they reach it. ]

More restaurants. Clothes. Electronics. Ah, maybe there? [ he points at the only art-related thing he noticed. Namely a poster with drawing of a girl on the door. She's wearing sexy lingerie and doing impossible pose presenting viewer with both her boobs and butt at the same time. ]

Not unless you're looking for a different kind of art...!

[Tsuzuki snickers. There's a little bakery that doesn't seem to have any customers in it at the moment, though, so he doesn't have to feel bad about bugging the proprietor. He waves at Genos to follow him, and dashes in.]

Hi! I'm so sorry, but we're lost! Is there an art supply store near here?

[He leans over the counter, waving to catch the baker's attention. After a moment, her eyes focus on him, and she starts, going into the so-sorry-didn't-see-you routine.

He repeats his question, fast.]

[ Turn out that the art shop is nearby indeed, but hidden a bit after another second-hand shop. Technically you have to enter it, and then head for the first floor. And there. ]

What a counter-intuitive localization for an art-shop. [ And there is even small information about the shop, it's just partially obscured by promotion table ]

[Tsuzuki trails along after him, eating one of the half-dozen donuts he wound up buying as a thank you for the directions.]

They sure didn't make it easy to find... who told you about this one, anyway?

[What is Google? Tsuzuki just doesn't know.

I've just thrown "my location" and "art supply shop" into the search, and tried to get some hits. The internet is spotty, so I never got precise directions.

[ Genos checks a note with shops he's supposed to go and supplies he's supposed to get ]

Yeah, this one isn't on the list. [ He looks up from the note ] You have my thanks. It would took me more time to find it.

Really? And it just popped up?

Hey, that's really useful! Haha, I should figure out how to use this phone better one of these days.

[He laughs -- not really that worried about it -- and shrugs.]

You need to have internet connection and turn GPS on for it to work. And of course not every business ever marks their locations there.

But if they have their address somewhere on the internet, it should be enough to throw it in the map and get result.

Maybe Hisoka's doing better at figuring out the extra functions! He's always been pretty good with technology. Tsuzuki more just sort of keeps up with whatever he needs for work.]

[He pauses on the threshold of the art shop, glancing inquisitively at Genos.]

[ Genos stops himself from entering the art shop, and turns around. ] If you don't mind, I actually do.

You've mentioned earlier that you had similar experience when you was a "god of death". Were you promoted from that to your current position? [ are you native for the far shore question hangs in the air ]

Well... not through normal channels, let's put it that way. I just showed up here and got the orientation like everybody else.

It's a little different dealing with all these gods! But, I mean, not completely different. I ran into the occasional one when I was with the Summons Department, too.

[ Genos tilts his head ] So... you got promoted and transferred to a different branch.

[ Are Heavens run like a corporation or what? ]

... Yeah, basically!

[Sometimes they are. Some departments definitely are, although Tsuzuki's thrilled to get to choose his paperwork now that he's not stuck with Enma's record keeping anymore.]

Haha, we usually just get promotions in the department, though. This god thing's kind of weird.

You were a god before, so aren't you used to all that weird? Or is this department just that much worse?

[ Given the chocolate failure, and the fact that he had to learn everything by asking around others in his situation, he could believe that. ]

[That's a tough question. It's not as though life in the Summons Department isn't bizarre: Tsuzuki's seen worse there than he has here. So far, anyway. But there weren't so many options then. It was just about surviving, and following orders, at least as much as he had to to stay out of trouble.]

... It's a different kind of weird.

Way more politics, for one thing.

I see. [ politics aren't his strong thing, just like diplomacy ] I'll take it as a warning.

[ he takes glance at the note hoping to find some of it in the shop ] I'll be going now. I appreciate your help.
