A prayer for business:
No one's stopped by my store in weeks! If I don't get more customers soon, I'm going to have to close down.

[ While she might not have discovered her god powers yet, Nanako has at least spent a lot of time practicing her teleportation skills of late while exploring her way around the Far Shore. Coming to the place where all the mortals were still alive and busy was another thing, however, and somewhere she was still too nervous to venture to on her own. Especially considering the events that had occurred just after her arrival here. So when she received a Prayer that required her presence here, she'd turned to her big brother for help.

Which was how she ended up on a quiet sidewalk, gripping Souji's hand tightly and flanked by both Sumio and Homura. The place where they were to answer the Prayer was a small Pet Shop that looked like it had seen some better days, but was still brightly and colorfully decorated to draw the eye of passing shoppers. The display window held three puppies who rolled around and played while a fourth napped in the sun, and in the shop behind them could be seen a myriad of other animals all waiting to be taken home by someone. An older man in an apron - the owner, by all appearances - was tending to an aquarium, cleaning it and tending to the brightly colored fish within.

Nanako took it all in with wide eyes, looking both delighted and uncertain, before glancing up at her big brother. ]

[ Honestly, this is probably the perfect prayer for Nanako. It reminds him a lot of the events that he would get coerced into by Yosuke, advertising for Junes and being an extra hand despite not actually working there. All they have to do is promote, right? It shouldn't be that difficult, especially considering it's for a pet shop.

He squeezes the tiny hand in his supportively, seeking to reassure, once they're on that sidewalk instead of the Heavens. ]

I'd say so. Do you want to go in and talk to the owner? [ He looks at Sumio and Homura, eyebrows raised. If she doesn't, he'll go in and do it while she stays with them, but this is her prayer. He doesn't want to take the reins on it, and would rather be a guiding hand at her back and stand behind her. ]

[It's a perfect prayer for Nanako, but it's an awkward one for Homura to be dragged along to. She's not the most approachable person for a stranger to meet and she's well aware of it.

So when Souji meets her eyes there's the tiniest shake of her head. Go in and speak to people? Please leave that to Nanako.]

[ It turns out the job isn't quite so hard after all and after a little preparation, Nanako can be found outside the store, dressed up like a catgirl in a cute pink dress and apron, complete with ears, tail and giant paws.

It makes it a little trickier to hand out fliers advertising the pet store, but she'll manage it. it helps that there's a collar and bell on as part of her outfit too, making all her movements jingle and draw even more attention.

She can be found on a corner not far away from the storefront, handing out fliers to everyone that passes. At some points of the day, she's got a small puppy on a leash bounding around her ankles, making her giggle as she plays and keeps a hold of it. Souji, Homura or Sumio might also be spotted nearby, dressed up in animal costumes of their own. ]

[It was the jingling that caught Izumo's attention, so it's only natural that he follows the sound.

Only to find Nanako dressed in a what appears to be a cat costume complete with a pink dress and apron.]

...Nanako? [What are you doing?]

[ The sound of her name has her turning around in surprise to find someone who knows her here, but spotting him has her breaking into a bright smile as she lifts a giant kitty paw in an eager wave. ]

Hello, Izumo! I'm helping! Here!

[ Have a brightly colored flyer advertising the pet store held out to you expectantly. ]

[Izumo takes the flyer, looking at it.]

A pet store, huh?

Yeah! We're helping them today. Do you have a pet?

[ Because Izumo seemed like the sort of person who might like taking care of one or a dozen. ]

Mm, I don't.

[Not unless you count a red lion as a pet.]

Though, I'm not sure my god is ready for a pet either.

No? [ She looks a little disappointed about that. ] Doesn't he like pets?

[ Although you're probably not wrong, Izumo. ]

[Kairi's out shopping, since the dreams from Forrest's sleepover got her thinking about it again... and this is a safer preoccupation for her than another adventure with Goten.

She comes around the corner and clasps her hands together at her chest as soon as she sees Nanako.]

Oh my gooosh! Nanako! Is that you?

[ Nanako lights up at the sight of the other girl, lifting a giant paw in a wave (and accidentally striking a kittygirl pose from habit. Look, she's been practicing a lot today. ]

It is! Hello! Are you shopping?

[Kairi just keeps giggling.]

I am out shopping! And what are you up to?

[ Nanako grins happily, pleased by the praise. ]

I'm helping with a prayer! It's my first big one!

Your first prayer!

[ At least it looks harmless enough, right? ]

What did your follower wish for, Nanako? A new pet?

[ She's quick to shake her head. ]

No, there was a really nice old man who owns a pet store, but not a lot of people were coming in to give his pets homes. So we're helping him find people who need pets! He has some really cute ones.

[That's a hard sight to pass by. Goten can't help but stare at her, more confused then anything. It even takes him a second to realize it's Nanako all dressed up. Why is she wearing that? Or maybe she really did grow cat ears from being around cats so much]

....When did you get ears and a tail?

[Don't mind him as he walks around to pick up her tail curiously]

[ Nanako laughs and half-turns around to follow him, although she stops when Goten picks up her tail. Deciding she was going to play along like she'd been shown, she casts him an innocent smile. ]

Just nyao?

. . . . . .

[It takes him a few seconds to understand what she said. And he's staring again, looking from her face to the tail and back to her face. Is she really part cat? He can't really tell but the tail is super soft. His eyes widen and light up with excitement.]

That's so cool!! How'd you do it, Nanako?!

[ She presses a finger over her lips and leans in conspiratorily. ]

It was magic! I had to, to help with a prayer!

[Goten blinks and leans in when Nanako does. He lifts a hand to cup around his mouth as he whispers,as if this is some kind of big amazing secret]

Nanako, you gotta show me your magic sometime, okay? It's amazing!

[He grins at her]

This is all for a prayer?

[Nanako looks at ease like this, but Homura, who's been put into bunny ears, looks a bit sour. Most of her fliers get unceremoniously shoved into passerby's hands.

This... isn't her usual thing and she's out of her element.]

... How are you doing?

[ Unlike poor Homura, Nanako at least seems to have embraced the task set before her with her typical enthusiasm. ]

I thought answering prayers would be harder than this.

[ Nanako giggles. ] Did Souji-oniichan ever tell you how he dressed up as a bear once to help people at a festival? He looked kinda funny. But this is fun! And you look really cute as a bunny, Homura!
